Breakfast was excellent,in a lovely dining room. The hosts were very willing to provide us with whatever we needed including fresh milk on arrival for our tea. They were friendly and helpful in suggesting places for us to eat in the evening. Our room was great with views over the garden to the front and back. We even had two chickens coming to say hello! The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom a good size.

The hot tap in the sink was very difficult to turn on and only gave a trickle of water but we managed. We didn’t mention it to the hosts as they were so accommodating and friendly.

I stayed in the annex, and it was beautifully set up with a comfy bed, tea and coffee making facilities, and a good size TV. The Wi-Fi was brilliant with no connection issues, and the bathroom was spacious and allowed for hot showers after a long day! The location was beautiful, with plenty of surrounding countryside that made for a very peaceful stay, and the terrace that is part of the annex was nice (although the ever-changing British August weather meant I wasn't able to really sit outside). Yvonne was an exceptional host, giving me yogurt and fruit to take with me as I was leaving too early for the cooked breakfast on two of the days that I was staying, but took the time to call me on my last night to see if I wanted cooked breakfast in the morning, which was lovely :)

Really nice little room with adjoined bathroom. It was quite small, but it was perfect for what I needed. Nice and warm, plenty of parking, the owners were really nice and pleasant and breakfast was freshly cooked and wonderful. Nice choice of cereals, toast or full cooked breakfast, orange juices and tea/coffee. I would definitely use Church End again if I need it.

The kettle in the room needs descaling and that's really my only comments about things I didn't like.

Everything...so helpful when booking my stay (the day before) I was sent directions with pictures to help me find the accommodation. The room and ensuite were spotless. WiFi connection was seamless and very reliable. Super comfy bed, felt very cozy...just what I needed after working a long day. The breakfast matched the room 10/10. I will definitely be back next time I'm working in the area. Thanks for making me feel so welcome.

What a wonderful place. I stayed in the single annexe garden room. The room had all I needed and was clean and had a very comfy bed. Free good working WiFi, TV, ensuite and coffee and tea facilities. I stayed for 2 weeks whilst I was working at the national bowl and it was lovely to return to the bnb after a long working day. I was able to park right by the garden room. The bnb is surrounded by lovely countryside with lots of pleasent walks. The breakfast was delicious.

A little off the beaten track but all the more beautiful for it - not far from the main road through the village. The room was in an attached but separated annex - breakfast in the mian house a quick 10 metre dash in the morning rain! Lovely breakfast. Friendly and helpful owners.

Maybe new pillows?? Wifi erratic. Everthing else was great.

We stayed in Church End Cottage to attend an event at Cranfield University and for some tourism. The place is gorgeous and the owners delightful. The rooms are beautifully furbished, the beds are really comfortable. We had a terrace, where we could enjoy the quiet and peaceful countryside. They made a delicious traditional English breakfast for us every morning. We can only say that it was an absolute pleasure to be there.

For starters, the pre visit communications were great, the post code of the house is slightly different and they eamil you that which brings you to the right place. The bed was so amazingly comfortable - its in the middle of nowhere so was super quiet. Breakfast was lush - (No beans - which I love but not all places give beans but delicious non the less) - very friendly husband and wife hosts - all in all, just perfect

nothing really - If I were super picky and its being really picky - the heating was very high and the room hot when i got there but you have control over the heating, and after 10 mins it was beautiful again.

Rural Location, peaceful setting (set back from road so no noise at all apart from nature itself), views, attractive house and outbuildings, free private parking, room small but perfectly formed, ideal for 1. Bed very comfortable and delightful host and delicious home cooked breakfast. Excellent value for money. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Absolutely nothing

Wonderful private and peaceful stop over! Beautiful country setting in cottage style rooms, which were spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable. We slept so well in the quiet environment. Our hosts we so nice we felt like family and our breakfast was a treat 😋 real English Breakfast with all the trimmings! Fresh ingredients so tasty. We highly recommend this delightful Bed and Breakfast to anyone who needs respite from their travels 😀
