Indoor pool and sauna is excellent with great views (few pools in hotels these days). Also outdoor pool in a sun-trap with great views was a real bonus with untypically warm and sunny late Sept. sun, took photos and looked like we were in the Med. or the Canaries(!) Rooms were generously sized and facilities absolutely fine. Every room must have some sort of sea view due to location, which is worth staying for - our room had view of two different beaches and over the town. Breakfast was excellent, as large as you liked, very good choices across the board, and attentive waiting staff. All staff were excellent, couldn't be more helpful in every way.

Nothing significant. Only minor wrinkle would be nowhere to sit around downstaris in lobby/lounge areas that were light and with good views eg. for reading, playing games and having a coffee.

Hotel staff were all really helpful. Plenty of parking - even during Boardmasters festival. Room was large and airy with a lovely view.

Breakfast was expensive - £22, but included a variety of drinks, cereals etc but if you wanted anything other than pancakes or a traditional full English, this was an additional £5.50. Cheaper, healthier options available in Newquay. Bed mattress needed updating - too soft and you felt like you were constantly going to roll out of the bed and that your feet were higher than your head.

Love Love Love the views and we could see the hotel in distance wherever we went in the area. Waking up in the morning, looking at the ocean and the sunets. Amazing! Breakfast, so yummy, too, and most of the staff so welcoming

Could do with a bit of updating on balcony and air-conditioning in the rooms. Don't leave towels to dry on the balcony as a seagull pooped on mine 🫢 There was only one member of staff that wasn't as cheerful and accomadating the lady serving the breakfast she just looked so serious and moody

the rooms and view was lovely, the staff were so amazing and made sure our stay was comfortable. Marnie was fantastic and supported us throughout our stay, we decided to upgrade our room and she showed us round about 6 different rooms until we found the one we wanted. she was always checking in on us to make sure we were happy. Sue was also fantastic, she was serving us food and drinks each day and was also checking in constantly. Both are an asset to the hotel and we will definately be coming back this year for longer during the summer

from start to finish this was a an amazing trip. the staff were very friendly on arrival showing us around, exposing the facilities and making sure we were happy with everything she explained before then sending us up to the room. they also went out of there was to do a special request in the room which was very lovely of them to do. The room was lovely, clean, had everything we needed. the bed was very comfy. The view from the room was lush, saw right over the whole sea and along the coast. The spa was very nice could also look out to the sea while relaxing in the hot tub!

nothing that I didn’t like 😃 would just recommend the spa being open later so people can use in the evening.

The check in process. I arrived a little early but room was ready. Reception staff were always polite and helpful. Room was very spacious for a single and had a good view. Very clean and bed was comfy. Housekeeping staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Breakfast at £22 was very expensive so I didn't eat at the hotel at all. Breakfast could be obtained at various other establishments in the area for less than half the price. I don't mind paying a bit more for a hotel breakfast but this was way over the top. I received a promotional email sayng that I could upgrade to a suite with balcony for an extra £35 a night. In reality The only option was to upgrade to a double room which was not worth it.

Great sized room with balcony overlooking the sea, cleaned daily. Fantastic location with adequate parking. Breakfast was amazing, really fresh, high quality produce and good choice. The staff were all very professional, polite and welcoming, attentive without being overbearing. The food in the restaurant was excellent. We had everything we needed in the room and the hotel to make for a wonderful stay.

Lovely warm spacious room with an amazing, unexpected view. The bed was comfortable and other than a rude awakening from my neighbour's tv quite early in the morning, I slept really well. The tea and coffee making facilities were great, I appreciated the addition of a fridge. I found all the staff really pleasant and helpful to deal with.

Breakfast - so expensive, I just couldn't justify it. Most of our party went offsite for breakfast as very few room bookings seemed to include it. When you are already spending over £160 for a double room, extra for breakfast feels extortionate. A shame, as it's always nice to have breakfast together after an event. I didn't use the spa as the facilities looked pretty limited. The indoor pool was very small, and the outdoor one was understandably closed.

friendly helpful staff members. a perfect location and stunning View from my bedroom window the day before my wedding at the headland . the staff were helpful in getting my breakfast early because of the time of my wedding day . this is fantastic service from everyone. room was clean to high standards the bed was comfortable but I couldn’t sleep because of pre wedding night nerves no fault of the hotel
