St Christopher's Greenwich

I was having a terrible day but that changed as soon as I set foot in the hostel. I was surprised to find that it was also a pub (even better, great atmosphere) Ambrose was doing both a reception & bar shift on his own but nonetheless was the main reason my bad day turned good. Thanks to his friendly chat & smile I felt most welcome and at ease. Ambrose deffo deserves to be recognised for all his hard work and personality. Great host , great place, best location (trainstation next door) will deffo come back!

Was confused to what the entrance was and the bedside lamp wasn't working. I didn't like that I only stayed 1 night. Met some great people and Greenwich is beautiful.

Comfortable beds, accommodative staff, respectful roommates, storage underneath bed, clean bathrooms, restaurant/bar on ground floor, great chill-out room open 24/7 in basement, awesome place overall!

Guests in my room snored a lot, but free earplugs at the desk helped! Facilities perfectly adequate but not exceptional. Storage unit didn't fit all of my things so I had to use a locker in the basement: this only took 1-pound coins or smaller, which the hostel couldn't provide me with any so every day I had to go on a wild goose chase throughout town to obtain £5 worth of coins every day.

It is the perfect location for a great price with friendly and helpful staff and good breakfast. Cool guests, a super vibrant music venue, and delicious hot food. The main areas are cleaned daily. Recommended for those who like the hostel vibe, want to meet interesting people and do not mind sharing facilities in a relaxing atmosphere.

Cleaning - not just the floors and bathrooms but doors, windows, walls, etc.- details matter. Airflow could be better. Opening windows and ventilating the entire place will be good. Attaching pocket shelves made from fabric to beds will be handy.

Although nothing in particular stood out to me, it was a good stay over all. The location was good, the staff were friendly, and it was easy to navigate. I would definitely return to this accommodation if necessary!

The people within the dorm were not respectful of the other people staying there. They were having conversations through the day and in the early hours of the morning. Although this was not the accommodations fault, it did create a bit of an unpleasant atmosphere while trying to rest.

Nice staff. They kept my luggage for free as a favor. They suggested me to eat at the outside tables instead of the bar with charged meals. They didn't kick me out like a dog for bringing in food like in st Christopher Hammersmith. But really, they are running business, not hostel.

Fan in room was too noisy at night. Why do we need fan in fall? Both the location of the hostel Greenwich and Hammersmith are too close to the stations, rent is probably higher, making them pushing hard on getting guests to spend more. U cant eat at the bar unless u pay. No kitchen, no service. No real hostel feeling.

All staff are super friendly and quick. I like the pub vibe combined with the hostel. Food is good and so is the drinks selection. The value for money at this place is just incredible. You also get a discount at the bar if you're a guest which brings the prices down to weatherspoons prices. The showers are hot and clean. The continental breakfast is excellent. Pay for it when you book to save a pound. I recommend the 9 bed dormitory as there are curtains on the bunkbeds. There are no curtains in the 8 bed dorm.

This is easily one of the best hostels in london. I stayed 10 nights over 3 weeks (there's a 7 consecutive night limit that is slightly flexible if you are a good guest). The staff and guests are a great and eclectic mix of people. I felt very welcome at this hostel. Greenwich is a real gem and arguably the nicest part of London. Although it looks quite remote on the map, its easy to get around as Greenwich DLR is a quick trip to Bank which connects to multiple subway lines. You can't hear the bar when you are in the dorms and the bar itself has many screens for live sport, plays some good music and attracts a wide range of friendly and unpretentious people.

Really good value for money. Super location with good access to all forms of transport (rail, bus, cycling and walking). Room was very comfortable. Really loved the "cages" that allowed me to lock away my belongings. Breakfast very good with good range of food. Very quiet considering it's located in a sports bar. As a female travelling alone I felt very safe and secure. I've already recommended the hostel to my nieces who travel to London often.

Only one small complaint. The toilets need a little TLC. Always difficult to stay on top of repairs when they're in constant use. The hostel was better than some hotels I've stayed in recently.

I request for a lower bunk bed, my request/ preference was met. Room was quiet, clean beddings, bed was made. I slept well. The price was super excellent. I requested help with carrying my bag upstairs (no lift) it was provided.

The shower has to befully turned to the maximum before hot water came out. I feel that it should be amended to have a hot water at the onset after a few secnd. There were no toilet seat or broken toilet seat was not replaced.
