Very warm welcome from lady on reception who showed me to my room in a separate building. Room was compact but had plenty of sockets and a small mini fridge with complimentary bottles of water. Large bright bathroom with walk in shower. Good WiFi signal. Breakfast served from 7am which is good for business travellers Some nice local produce.(apart from the tinned boiled mushrooms)

Room was grubby around the window and there were lots of cobwebs around the ceiling edges. Evening meal was not great. The mustard mash served with the Pork was microwaved to boiling temperature and was watery. The apple sauce with the pork was also catering variety with cubed chunks of apple simply heated up. The vegetables were frozen but tasted ok. One of the waitresses was a little over familiar calling me and other diners "sweetie' 'love' or 'pet'. A more polite greeting would be appropriate. Decor slightly dated.

Me and a friend had booked in for 2 nights bed and breakfast with an evening meal on the 1st night. The service we received throughout was superb. I have coeliac disease and have to follow a gluten free diet. I was impressed with the choices of gluten free food available and having a strawberry cheesecake option for dessert was a bonus and it was delicious. The staff were very welcoming. It was busy at breakfast times, but the staff coped well and were friendly throughout. The breakfast choices were excellent. I had the fruit salad on the 2nd morning and had a good selection of fruit. We didn't use the pool, so I can't comment on that. We did walk round the gardens. It was overall a lovely stay in beautiful surroundings. I don't know how easy it would be to get around if you don't drive though. We visited Horsey and Cromer one day.

Nothing bad to say.

Booking, booking in, staff friendliness. Staff were well dressed - as they should be in a hotel. They looked professional. Overall the stay was comfortable and quiet. The food in the restaurant was excellent - we had an evening meal there and it was very good indeed. Cooked breakfasts were also good. Bacon cooked just right and excellent mushrooms. Also, they provided hot plates, which is a requirement for me - do not want my food to go cold before I eat it.

The room was not as clean as it should be in some places. For example, there was a cobweb and a dead spider at the side of the toilet in our room. There were also some dirty marks on the wall beside the toilet. Attention to detail is needed in cleaning so that all the corners are cleaned - customers will notice these.

Dinner and breakfast were excellent. Very tasty and prices reasonable. Despite turning up after breakfast had finished due to a misunderstanding over times the lady serving went out of her way to make us feel welcome and ensured we received a full cooked breakfast and everything we wanted. We were also told a late checkout would be no problem.

We were disappointed we were unable to enjoy any of the outside facilities due to the exceptionally bad weather for early August.

Super friendly staff accommodated our needs. Very nice freshly cooked food at both breakfast and evening meal. Despite being on a busy road the rooms are shielded and were really quiet being all just ground floor rooms. The chef one night cooked my wife a non menu meal to order as she'd just had a minor facial operation locally and was struggling with something suitable to eat, thankyou👍

The whole establishment is a little dated in that although its very clean, quiet and friendly some modernisation is probably due. Better lighting in the en suite bathroom and perhaps more up to date furnishings throughout. That said we had a relaxing stay here and it suited our needs perfectly so would return again if in the area. It would be nice to have been able to sit in the bar area in a cosy atmosphere but we think the tables were cleared at Covid time for distancing? The separate area to sit although comfortable lacked atmosphere and needs some TLC.

- Good selection of breakfast items. Most of it was ordered rather than buffet (cereals, juice & coffee available as help yourself). Ate meal in the evening which was very nice and reasonably priced. - Swimming pool heated and great for children - Fresh milk available for drinks in room - Mini fridge provided - Very clean - Comfortable beds - Staff very helpful and friendly - Good location for lots of attractions in Norfolk

We had a table booked for 7.30pm, we arrived early for dinner and staff were fantastic at bringing our dinner forward so that our 7 year old granddaughter could eat with us. In addition to this, they made her night and made her feel totally at ease with a bowl of broccoli that she wanted. They never blinked and eye her face lit up. Would dine and stay here again.

Room was chilly, the key fob had to be in for the heating.

The hotel is clean and the beds are comfortable. The evening meal was very pleasant. There was a sitting room for general use. Staff were very friendly.

The hotel is a small way outside of Norwich. The rooms and hotel are not as modern as some, but the hotel is still very comfortable. There was no information on where to walk in the area, but you can do this and we had a very pleasant walk in the local area.

Lovely countryside location. Very peaceful. Staff terrific, especially Hayley who looked after us when we had missed break-fast & provided cereal & toast, all with a big smile! Dinner staff were lovely too. Food was excellent. Pleasant decor. Close to a Park & Ride site so able to spend a day in Norwich. (Free car parking, 3 pound fare on bus.)

Can't think of anything.
