Everything! The large bathroom and amazing shower The coffee machine with pods replaced daily Every single staff member was so friendly and helpful The individual decor of the rooms The toiletries provided The peace and quiet despite being attached to a pub The great choice of ales, ciders and wines The comfy relaxed decor in the bar Separate entrance to the pub The nibbles ordered at the bar (did not order a full meal) Comfy bed and extra pillows T The more than generous picnic breakfasts Cleanliness of room - cleaned daily The unexpected pub quiz whilst there

When first driving towards the Rosebery it is in a very residential area and I reread the reviews before heading in to question my choice - however, please don’t judge by first appearance this place is really great value we would’ve paid the cost for two nights for one night alone Please note pub meals only provided from Wednesday

A lovely pub on the outskirts of the city centre to the north. Just what we wanted within 20 mins walking distance of the centre in a quiet residential road. Friendly, welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Nice good sized ensuite room with big windows. Unique breakfast arrangement where it is left in the room so you can checkout independently to suit you. Good basic breakfast with kettle provided, a good coffee pod machine, croissant, cereal, biscuits, yoghurt, milk and juice. We had dinner and drinks in the pub and the food was delicious and generous (the best chicken burger and chips). The Rosebery was perfect for exploring the city. Thank you.

Just a few small things but they did not affect our experience. . mattress a bit soft and pillows little uncomfortable . unpleasant odour in the accommodation stairwell, possibly from kitchen, only noticeable when entering and exiting - needs airing.

It's well situated for either walking or catching a bus to the city. The room's very comfortable with a large en suite bathroom and everything is supplied along with a lovely continental breakfast. Although it has no air conditioning a fan was in the room.. The accommodation is above a pub but there was no noise from it at all even though it was busy. All in all a lovely stay.

Not really anything we didn't like apart from the smell of cooking coming from the pub kitchen. However it wasn't too intrusive to spoil our stay.

When you arrive at the location, in between all the streets full of houses, you think it's a bit out of place and not very inviting as a hotel, just a standard pub but once you open the door and go inside it's stunning. Definitely a "don't judge a book by its cover" type of place. Lovely staff, great selection of drinks, gorgeous interior design and the high ceilings make it really open. The room was through a door at the side of the pub and again, we didn't know what to expect but once we got in the room we were so impressed. Everything we needed was clearly available, the breakfast was cute, the interior design was chic, contemporary and bright. Everything was clean and the mirrors made the place look bigger too. It was overall a very gorgeous place to stay the night and great value for money! Definitely Norwich's "hidden gem" and we look forward to coming back!

The room (number 4) is at the back, so it was very quiet. The room is spacious and comfortable. The water pressure in the room was excellent, though they should change the the shower head to reduce water consumption, as water was coming out at the base as well as the head. The shower was a walk in and was specious. The continental breakfast was in the room with fresh orange juice and milk. Really nice. Tea and coffee machine in the room. Really nice. The pub was great with a few cask ales. Staff was friendly, helpful and kind. We did not tried the food this time, but the smell coming out the kitchen were amazing! Thank you for a great time!

All was great apart from shower head, as mentioned before and bed was on the soft side, but I like a firm mattress! The stairs to get the the rooms are quite steep if you have heavy bags to take up. But I really like the place!

My husband and myself stayed here while visiting family in Norwich from Sunday 11th September for 4 nights. We were given room 1 which was a lovely, large and light room with 2 large windows. We would have loved to have tried the food here but the kitchen only opens from Wednesday until Sunday ( it was fully booked when we arrived on the Sunday and we were out all day Wednesday) which we were disappointed about as I here it has very good reviews. The room was tidied each day and the bins emptied, fresh towels were left and the breakfast was replenished as well. There was a small fridge with milk, water, juice and yoghurt. Breakfast cereals and croissants with jam and butter. There is also free private parking at the back of the pub which is very important. The water was lovely and hot too. We know Norwich well, but anyone who hasn’t been to Norwich before, this is an ideal place to stay as it’s only about 10/ 15 minute walk and you are right in the city. There are also some lovely green areas, with the lovely Waterloo park close by. The street is very narrow as there are cars parked either side but we found it to be very quiet and not much in the way of noisy traffic or footfall traffic. I would certainly go back here again. I would have thanked the staff but we didn’t see anyone on the morning we left and just popped the keys in a dropbox. The couple of members of staff we met when we arrived were very friendly. A thoroughly lovely place to stay.

The only thing that could do with fixing is the shower attachment as you had to hold it over you to shower. But that is a very minor thing in the grand scheme of things.

The room was very nicely appointed and comfortable. Bathroom clean and functional. The breakfast was, for us, perfect, as we needed an early start, and it was already in the room: a little picnic hamper with cereals, croissants and waffelkeks, etc. In the fridge, fresh milk, juice and yoghurts. And a coffee machine. We also had drinks and dinner in the pub. The prawn fishcake and sea bream with a lobster bisque sauce, was beautifully presented and truly delicious. Really high class cooking, all freshly made, and super value. If we ever needed to stay in Norfolk again, we'd definitely stay at the Rosebery.

The only slight niggle is that the car park is quite small, so you need to be careful about turning round in it, so that you can get out safely into the (narrow) road.

The room was spacious, as was the bathroom, and we like that the pub is just downstairs.

It would have been nice if the free breakfast was english breakfast. We think this is even more possible because there is already a pub downstairs. It would have also been great if the shampoo was replenished the next day, it was not. And as we are two people, we could have been supplied 2 shampoos and 2 shower gels, not just the one.

The staff were super friendly and helpful and Rooms At The Rosebery has a really cool pub downstairs!

The room was a bit too hot but then again, it was like 29 degrees in Norwich when we stayed there so I don't think this is normally an issue. We left the window open but ended up with a lot of midges in the room :/ It was a bit noisy but it was not that big of a deal for us, just mentioning it here so people are aware.

The staff were welcoming. The room and bathroom were a good size and very clean. Having a fridge was a bonus too. The adjacent pub was popular with a good selection of ales. The city centre was only a 10-15 minute walk away.

Not much. It would’ve been good to have a cooked breakfast option but the continental one was ok. The car park was quite tight to get in and out of, but at least we could park for free.
