I stayed at Himley Country Hotel with my family for one night as the location is gorgeous as I love the countryside being a Yorkshire girl! We booked the supreme family room (4 adults and 4 children), although there are 3 of us anyway, the room was comfortable and clean. Clean beds, clean room, clean bathroom although the shower is very old as old as the building itself. The tap gave cold water as the boiler was very old-fashioned. It took a long time to heat up, and the staff was very helpful and friendly when I asked her regarding the situation. The hotel has a free WIFI and a large car park. I am a coffee lover, which is excellent as the room has a kettle. And a hairdryer was a bonus. I love the location of the hotel. There is a lot to do and see if you're a traveller like myself. Overall, I enjoyed my stay for the price, it's really good. Thank you for an amazing experience, and we hope to come back again soon.

I didn't like that the boiler took a very long time to heat up for it to be used. I was feeling a little spectic that although it said restaurant, it has been closed since Covid-19. Which is a shame! I would suggest bringing your own toiletries as they don't give shampoo, toothbrush, toothbrush etc...

The room was large and spacious and clean , it was basic but the price reflects this , there was noise during the night ,but I think that was from the heating but I would stay again

Rooms could be a bit cosier, maybe a nice throw or cushions on the bed just something to make the room feel a little warmer but that’s not an issue just an observation

I'm really impressed they are slowly doing the place up I like what I seen and definitely back soon.

I can see improvements but still needs more TLC this has the making of a brilliant hotel in the countryside, weddings, function parties, start doing breakfast and meals.

Quiet and ease of location. Room was great for the cost. I’ve seen bad reviews for here, but this isn’t one of them. Yes it’s dated but perfectly met my needs for the room.

No hot food facilities. Breakfast could really do with being an option.

Location, comfortable bed, very low priced. No frills, but worth the money. Coffee making facilities tv, hot bath. All you need for a quick stopover. Have been several times and will return again.

You get what you pay for, everything was fine

Stayed here for work, good stay clean, staff good. Location good too.

Staff were attentive and the room was spacious. We couldn't have asked for a better stay for what we wanted

We requested a room on the ground floor due to mobility issues, staff carried our luggage from our car.

No food, but we went along to a nice pub across the road
