The receptionist last night was phenomenal in supporting and helping us to get booked in. Due to some missing information on my details. She was able to answer any questions about I our stay, and she deserves a gold star. I did forget her name

The only thing that I can point to that wasn't so well was the breakfast tables. Some had cops on and I was didn't have a cup on. We have to take a cup of another table. However, this could have been improved by leaving all the cups in the breakfast area for individuals to take if I needed one. It's didn't feel nice coming to a table with a cup and we were not sure how long the cup was there and whether something may have flew in it , or if it was a cup from the previous visitor on that table.

The room was clean and welcoming. The bar and restaurant area were busy with a good vibe. We enjoyed a few drinks there. We had a swim downstairs in the gym area and found the pool and changing facilities were in good condition and clean. Staff were very friendly and happy to help.

The chambermaid tried to come into the room 15 mins before our check out time. My brother, who stayed on the same floor, had a late check in, and she disturbed him long before his check out time. She should wait until after check out time in both instances.

The location was perfect to see the attractions nearby ,to visit Merryhill shopping centre and to have a large family get together The breakfast choice was excellent and the evening meal exceeded expectations. The manager Nathalie was very responsive and empathic when we had to complain .

The noise levels during the 2 nights in the bedrooms of my sister and myself. The second night was the worst with someone having an audio system playing from 4.30 in the morning with people running down the corridor to join the party,!

The hotel has excellent transport links and fantastic amenities. The chocolate/ biscuit and hand written note upon arrival, were very welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were very polite. Finally, room service was prompt, good value for money. and the food was delicious.

The entertainment in the evening, which was the reason for booking, was very good. However, the food was quite poor, with the risotto actually being inedible. This was the only unsatisfactory part of my experience.

It's a clean, comfortable, well-run hotel whose friendly staff personalise what might have been a grimly corporate experience. Rooms have drawers, which is always useful, and TVs with functioning remote controls for a change. Good strong showers. You are within 10 min walk of Dudley town centre, Dudley castle & zoo and the Black Country Living Museum, though the hotel and surrounding area are really set up for motor vehicles.

Breakfast is to be commended for copiousness, but higher quality would not come amiss.

It is close to Dudley Town and the restaurants around a large cinema, yet still mostly quiet. Cleaning staff have been very helpful to me in the past, hoping they don't change. Starb... is a bit pricey but for a slightly later breakfast or lunch a helpful amenity.

Staff changes lead to a few small problems. Restaurant service was oddly slow when I asked for bread, but it isn't on menu so maybe it was hard to find? Would like a few more vegetarian options as often sold out of there (I think vegan) burger.

We chose a Club room with spa entrance and breakfast included. Everything was absolutely fine, the bathroom looked very new. The room looked out onto the car park (!) and Dudley Castle in the distance. It was an excellent choice for visiting the Living Museum nearby - we ended up walking there from the hotel, took about 10 minutes. The decor has something of a modern Premier Inn-style vibe, but in that category it was really excellent for the price. Lovely self-service cooked breakfast.

The padlock system for the swimming pool lockers was a bit awkward to deal with, but that's an extremely minor quibble.

Helpful staff on reception ,(Nathan). I was meeting family before an event and we were able to have a meal together in the bar which was a busy, lively place,(we were allowed to move tables around - there were a lot of us!). My room was clean and comfortable - somehow I lost my room key which wasn't a problem. I can't comment on other facilities ,(for example swimming pool , sauna etc), as I didn't know they were there until arrival .

The only negative was being woken in the early hours by a small group of people, talking very loudly outside, for I guess at least an hour which is when I managed to get back to sleep.

Very clean overall, spacious and clean bathroom, bigger towels than in a lot of other places, big TV in the room, super friendly reception staff, very comfy beds and pillows, free parking Saturday/Sunday, great restaurant, big screens cinema-style in lobby, fab location to Dudley, Birmingham, supermarket, other restaurants...

Possibly an armchair-like seat in the room, didn't know use of pool would be charged extra

Have stayed before and was impressed then, still impressed now with the hotel.

I liked the room, very clean and modern, I was overwhelmed with the service at the party I attended downstairs, I am a coeliac and they bought out 2 warm rolls for me and let me get my food first. The young man who gave them to me was great, didn't get his name, he had dark hair and nothing was to much trouble....he deserves recognition and is a credit to your hotel ⭐️
