Room 38 seemed tucked away on the end of the corridor, so heard very little noise from others. The Receptionists were very welcoming and the American waitress was very attentive and made us feel special (went above and beyond).

The heat in room 38 was unbearable when first entering the room. Had to turn on the fan and open the windows for an hour or so, but didn't know where the heat was coming from as all the radiators were turned off. It wasn't hot outside either. Could really benefit from A/C if heat comes from rooms below. On the opposite scale the sink's hot water taps in the bathroom didn't seem to get hot, even though there was a hot water warning label there. The shower's hot water worked fine though.

I have wanted to stay at The Mount Hotel ever since i was younger as i grow up in Tettenhall . It was always viewed as a very old and historic building full of history and very comfortable . Staff were amazing so friendly and the room and breakfast were very nice.

I appreciate not everyone can stay in the main building and i did ask if I could , but i was put in a room in the newer wing at the back which is very unattractive compared to the main hotel. There needs to be some monies spent on the outside of the building .

I recently had an accident which has prevented me from residing at home alone in the short-term due to mobility issues. I booked a room at The Mount Hotel and I was pleasantly surprised to find that I had use of an accessible room on the ground floor that had every facility that I could wish for and more, including a comfortable bed. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the food is superb. I cannot praise the staff enough for their kindness, help and support at a remarkably difficult time. I would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

A guest information pack either in a paper format or accessible electronically would be helpful.

Place was beautiful and the vibe of the entrance was lovely. The room was good sized. The bathroom was comfortable with a very important window. The bed/pillows were ok. There were plenty of electricity outlets which hotels tend to not have a lot of.

There was a lot of noise in the hallway all night long. I get there was a wedding but it seemed that the guests kept partying in the hallway after the party had ended. The toilet made a very very strong noise every 10-15 minutes that kept waking us up.

Options for breakfast was great. Variety for different dietary requirements. Room was a good size with a comfortable warmth.

After giving me the menu at breakfast the staff member disappeared and I didn’t know how or where to order the breakfast. The staff member came back and I ordered porridge and eggs Benedict to follow. Both were brought out at the same time and the porridge was only lukewarm. The radiator in the bathroom never seemed to warm up the bathroom so it was chilly in there. Very little shelf space for makeup in the bathroom. And no good lighting around mirrors to do makeup in the bedroom.

I love everything about the property room was absolutely gorgeous hotel itself was clean and incredibly comfortable and stunning, I was amazed how stunning the hotel is from the moment I walk in.

The fact I made booking though Booking.Com and pay for it there a then on line…… when I got to the hotel to check in the receptionist told me I needed to pay £50 for deposit I turn to her and said I pay for my hotel on booking.come and it did not told me I needed to pay an extra £50 otherwise it would have took it the same time they collected the payment on line…. And the receptionist was very rude while demanding I of to pay that £50 which I did but were very angry and disappointed. Until now I have received my money back

Shower floor is quite slippery and a potential for a fall. The bathroom is generally the most dangerous place for dangerous falls and was nervous of how slippery it is. Pillows not great. I wasn't able to adjust the heating and didn't see any instructions (I'm new to the UK so not familiar) It would be great to add paper towels or towels to use in the gym to be able to wipe down the equipment and have water dispenser available would be ideal.

We know this Hotel from many years ago and they have always tried to make sure guests enjoy the event or stay. The staff are helpful, friendly and efficient. Breakfast was good and plenty of choice.

We mentioned to the receptionist as we left that there was not an anti- slip mat in the bath/shower but think that was just an oversight. For us the bed was a bit too firm as were the pillows but I realise that is personal choice.

The restaurant food: The restaurant food was fantastic. I enjoyed my dinner. The waitresses were very friendly and did a great job.

Deluxe Double room: We booked the Deluxe Double room, but we were given a different small room downstairs. The next door was talking all night, which was very loud for us. I found the room small but very clean, and it was just not extraordinary for a night to pay that much. This room could have had a better view, but I was not impressed with the value of the money.

Amazing historical building and grounds. All staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast good quality food with choices to suit every taste and diet. Ample on site parking. Room spotlessly clean, good size, great bathroom with all facilities needed. No noise could be heard at night. Relaxed atmosphere.

Room corporate style with little character compared to main building. Pillows too hard. However in no way would this stop us from returning or recommending.
