We were welcomed with open arms, even though we were a couple of hours early. The room was modern, clean and kitted out with everything you could need and expect. We stayed for dinner and the food was delicious, with generous portions at competitive prices. The staff were very friendly, attentive and clearly enjoyed their jobs. The evening was rounded off with a visit from the Mousehole Sea Shanty Singers, who had just finished practicing in the Church next door. After much singing, we returned to our room with a broad smile on our faces. Thanks for a great evening!

We were initially a little concerned about being too far away from the central town area. But we are really pleased we stayed here. We managed very well to get there by bus (no.5) which dropped us 150m from the inn. Very comfortable sleep in nice modern, cosy room. Shower great - strong pressure and hot. The pub area is very cosy and the food was so good! We were very fortunate to arrive on an evening when the local mens choir stopped by after a rehearsal and we enjoyed many local songs sung by them during our evening. A very highly recommended stay!

Nothing not to like.

It was small and quaint and had a nice homely feel and Jamie at the bar was so kind when checking us in and made sure we had what we needed. We like the location for its proximity to other villages and attractions. Room was clean and shower had good pressure which is a plus!

The only issue for me was having to sleep with windows open ( I have terrible allergies) but we were aware of this having living in the UK years ago. So if you need AC just be aware of that tidbit. Other than that all was good

It was torrential rain late at night and i was cycling from the train station in penzance, i couldn’t find the place and was getting pretty stressed out, i called them and let them know the situation and they stayed open for me. when i got there (fully drenched) they poured me a pint that i could take to bed and let me keep my bike inside, amazing staff and place!

Lovely family run pub / small hotel in beautiful location. Crucially you can park your car for free in the pub car park and have a very pleasant 10 min walk into Mousehole where parking can be both expensive and, especially in the Summer, a nightmare. Breakfast great quality and included in the price.

Only one downside. As expected for the convenience of being based in the stunning Paul / Mousehole location it is somewhat pricey - but overall well worth it. Highly recommended.

The room was lovely, very comfortable, clean and had everything that we wanted, the staff were very helpful and friendly, not too intrusive but made sure that they were there if we needed anything.

The thing that could be improved was the food, the Dinner menu had several chicken dishes available that seemed quite similar, yet no pasta or lamb dishes, and the food that we had was a bit disappointing for the prices charged, being a bit dry and not much flavour. The breakfasts were nice but strangely the bacon still had the rind on which made it a bit tricky to eat.

everything. it’s in a very small village but very close to Moushole. we had a fantastic time there. Very nice food, breakfast and dinner as well. thank you for a wonderful time!

if I have to give one negative, it would be the size of the room. There is no space at all for luggage and clothing, but it’s England and we knew what to expect.

We were welcomed like locals, nothing was too much trouble and the team were really friendly and kind. Our rooms were spotless and well equipped and good value for two single travellers - two rooms were only slightly more than sharing one room which is rarely the case, so we each had our own comfy space. The evening meal was nice, but the breakfast was fabulous!! I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Lovely place to stay, evening meal was lovely breakfast was very good. Young lad who welcomed us with a nice sense of humour really enlightened the venue.

Really small negative was the room was not overly clean. The bed side tables hadnt been cleaned in some time and was covered in sticky black residue underneath where the lamps hadn't been moved in some time
