The room was nice and cozy. There was also netflix, youtube, prime on the TV which was really nice to have in the evenings. The staff were really friendly. There was a great selection of food for the breakfast. I only stayed in the restaurant once, but the food was delicious.
No change of towels when room was cleaned. The place was also really packed, so some mornings depending on when I went down for breakfast there were no tables available which I’ve never come across before. My reservation for the one evening I had dinner in the restaurant also went missing or was never recorded, so a table had to be cleared in a separate area from everyone else. The staff were fantastic though and always always tried to make it right when something went wrong.

I had the room used to advertise the property and the views and comfort were as I had hoped. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Fairly central to the areas that interested me.
As it is the end of the season I felt that the hotel was slightly understaffed. The receptionist had to also wait on the tables for breakfast , answer the phone and apart from one chef had to cope with everything downstairs. However they were unfailingly helpful and friendly Would definitely return off season though

Great Location on the seafront next to a reasonably priced car-park. The room was very comfortable and clean and looked like it had recently been redecorated. It was very reasonably priced including a very delicious breakfast which they agreed to cook for us despite us being a bit late down for breakfast- they couldn’t do enough for us and made us feel very welcome.
The main door is locked at 9.30-10pm and there are instructions to get in with an electronic key fob but our key didn’t have one so we had to ring the number to ask someone to let us in which felt like we were disturbing someone. They were very polite and in no way made it feel like it was an annoyance, that’s just how I felt. luckily some other guests were going out and let us in so I don’t know how long we might have waited but I’m sure it would not have been long?! Also it would be really helpful to have breakfast times in the room as I completely forgot what the receptionist said (my fault I know :) )

It was a beautiful cosy hotel and nice helpful staff.
We were last minute moved from The Bleah Club to another hotel, The Hotel Penzance (so my ratings and comments is for the Penzance hotel). It was way tucked on top of a Hill ( nightmare to walk with no car), very close to the train station. The heating was not working, they managed to get room heating working but the bathroom radiator was cold as ice and the flooring too!!! No slippers provided for this inconvenience.

Good breakfast buffet, though the eggs tended to be on the cool side. Lots of choice with fresh fruit. Lovely room in beachy colors. Huge windows overlooking the sea and lots of sunshine. Beautiful views. One window did not open. Small but full bathroom. Amazing snacks in each room. Good blackout curtains. Take the very fun open top bus to other spots to the West. Sennen Cove was spectacular.
The room overlooked a busy road, though it did quiet down later at night. A portable fan did allow for white noise that helped.

The staff were exceptionally pleasant, friendly and helpful and the service was first class. A special note should be made of the manager who was the most helpful and accommodating and could not have done more to make the visit to the hotel first class.
Although not a problem the shower in room 8 worked very well but was a tight squeeze to enter and leave for someone with a slightly large tummy. The metal seats in the dining area left and interesting pattern on ones posterior.

Great welcome at the hotel reception, offered a glass of procecco while we checked in. This is a beautiful hotel, tastefully and imaginatively decorated with comfortable, if somewhat hot, rooms. Easy walking along the promenade to harbourside pubs and restaurants and on street parking was available close to the property. Breakfast was excellent, great menu and satisfactory buffet. I think this would be a great option when the sun is shining and there are more people around.
Location, whilst on the seafront, can be a problem if you are facing the main road as lorries from the nearby Newlyn harbour pass through the night. Room was well heated so trying to balance temperature, fresh air and traffic noise was, for us, a challenge. That said, the view was impressive. Probably due to the season, but the front door is locked from 9pm and there was no hotel bar service although had we chosen to eat in the hotel I'm sure that would not have been a problem.

The staff is what makes this hotel. Everybody seemed to be in a naturally good mood, and not one that was forced. They went above and beyond the call of duty in helping me acquire transport around Penzance and to Lands End. I opted for the Continental Breakfast, and was pleased by the fresh breads and fruits. The hotel also has a nice sea view too! If I ever stay again, I'd get a room overlooking the waterfront.
Stairs in my room.......But that was just a minor inconvenience.

The view was fantastic and the staff (especially Jenna) very helpful. It’s next door to Lidl and a bus stop. Twenty minutes walk from train and bus stations.
Quite a walk from train station. Much less to do in Penzance compared to St Ives so I’d probably stay there next time. Penzance more convenient for St Michael’s Mount and Minack Theater. No elevator.

Very pretty decor with a comfy lounge and superb view with breakfast. Staff were helpful and friendly, the bed was very comfortable, and the location was great - right on the promenade, and only a short walk into town. The glass of Prosecco on check in was a very nice touch and the staff were very accommodating for a gluten free diet.
There was no space or facility in the room for hanging up coats or tucking suitcases out of the way, so everything ended up piled on the one chair, or tripped over on the floor. It was a minimal bugbear though.
