Rooms are a good size with huge windows, AC worked perfectly, Staff are excellent, especially the lady in charge of the breakfast area, she does the layout to perfection every time.

We really could have done with a fridge in the room as we were staying for 3 days, TV was out of action in the public areas so had to get cabs to town to watch the football & rugby which was a shame and an expense we could do without.

The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning was very effective. The pool and jacuzzi were good.

The bathroom is in need of attention. Rusting and mildew in places. We ate in the restaurant and some items marked as gluten free are obviously not. The staff also admitted that the fries are cooked in the same oil as items containing gluten. The prices in the restaurant and bar are high.

Comfy, quiet room in pleasant near-to- woodland setting. Friendly reception staff and other guests. Nice large, modern reception area and plenty of parking. Pleasantly surprised with Peterborough city centre in evening with plenty of venues for eating out and, likewise, restaurant in hotel also seemed well-used and welcoming.

Nothing, handy for overnight stay. All was fine.

Stayed with 10 other couples. Was a annoyed to find out we payed £40 a night more than anyone else.

The location is good, surrounded by trees and far enough out from town to be quite peaceful. Taxis into town are well priced. Plenty of parking which is always appreciated. Room was spacious (accessible and family) with huge wet room. Comfortable bed. Good air-conditioning. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast.

Only small niggles- we had parked in a disabled space at the front of the hotel and it was a long walk to the accessible room with me carrying all the luggage. Later found out that I could have parked round the back and it was only a short walk. The reception staff could have mentioned this. We were there for a Wedding reception. The bar needed more staff. Possibly have some sunshades for the outside space.

The staff were excellent generally. When we had an issue with a wedding party parking in the disabled bays, they were straight on it. As this gave issues with breathing over a distance the manager came up to check I was Ok which was nice.

I do not rate the restaurant, certainly not what they were charging, and trying to find staff was not always easy. The hotel is nice, but very corporate, with no personality. The spa was not working properly the first day of our stay, and needed a reboot. Pity we only found that out from a regular, if the staff in the spa area had been on their game like the guy on the second day, it would have been great.

The overall biggest impression I have taken away from staying in this hotel is the friendly helpful and totally professional attitude of the staff. A real pleasure to interact with -Well Done and thank you to all! The Breakfast was excellent, with I believe all tastes catered for, also with helpful and friendly staff in attendance Unfortunately I found the bed a little to hard for my comfort though acceptable.

I only have one criticism for my whole stay which was the carpet in my room, I looked as though someone had brought something in on their foot and walked it across the room, Otherwise the en-suite room was totally clean except for these marks on the carpet - N.B. If It had been in my home I could have quite easily cleaned these marks off the carpet, perhaps this seems a little picky when these carpets get so much use, but I mention it in the spirit of honest feedback - This did not in any way spoil my stay at this hotel and I would be happy to recommend this hotel to anyone.

The facilities were really good in the hotel. They do proved guest with towels at the pool. Good size changing room. Highly recommended the spa on site aswell.

A slight disappointment was due to the weather the TV signal was lost and couldn't get it back. The big thing was the food, it was disappointing for the price. Their microwave frozen food is definitely overcharged. I had gammon and the egg was microwaved, i upset stomach all night, however a member of the restaurant staff said "it's not food position because I've checked with chef's" and then she offered me free desert, whiles holding my need to throw up I did refuse the offer of eating more food to throw up. I highly suggest going 10 minutes into the city centre for better quality food. As it turns out, the people cooking your food at the hotel are actually doctors, and the restaurant staff prove a spoon full of sugar to make the medicine go down.

It was lovely to have a swimming pool. That's one of the reasons I booked it and children are allowed in the pool until 6pm. The breakfast is also very good.

The menu is very expensive. Can't justify the price of a curry - for £17.50 - when I was told by a member of staff that the spice intensity couldn't be altered as it came pre-packed 😬🤦‍♀️ so basically - a 'ping' heat up curry for almost £20. And the cheapest bottle of wine is £25! Again - can't justify the cost. The prices are pretty extortionate and if we stay there again - I won't be dining in the restaurant.

Helpfulness of staff, particularly reception and breakfast restaurant, who all went above and beyond our expectations, and would be our main reason for returning. Good access to swimming pool. Ĝood free on site parking.

Room not fully prepared. Half of lighting not working, but maintanence prompt in solving. Noticeable smell in bathroom, may be because it was a wet room, difficult to erase sewer type smell. Cooked breakfast, suffered a little from being a buffet, but okay, good selection, including continental selection
