We like the location - we like the breakfast offered. Next time we stay (507) we do not want to stay in this room please. The handbasin is out of the bathroom and the shower was a wee small. My husband is semi-disabled so had a little bit of difficulty. We like staying at your hotel.

Shower a little bit small - handbasin outside of the bathroom. I stayed a little time ago on but there was a beard hair in my breakfast when I got three quarters of a way through it. I reported it to the manager but he would not have it which was a little disappointing to say the least as we do try and stay with you twice a year coming down from Ely in Cambridgeshire.

I have stayed in this hotel many times, the breakfast is always wonderful, you can have a cook morning meal, cereals, tea, coffee, apple or orange juice, with Danish and yogurt. My room was a double king-size with tea, coffee and the bath was a spa, that I truly enjoyed using three times. the Main staff, from the front end, housekeeping, cleaners and all the staff serving breakfast go out of their way to help/support the guest.

The health centre staff need more customer training, because I used this part of the hotel for the first time, everything was great apart from the manners from the staff, I had the impression that they do not want to help or support the paying members or guest, but just to do little work as possible, But I may be wrong, due to they may of had a bad day, because we all have them.

Warm welcome, firm beds, good size room, lovely view, big bathroom. Small but perfectly formed facilities (pool, sauna, steam room) Staff were cheerful, friendly and efficient. Loved the spacious dining room for breakfast, good choice of hot and cold foods, and a rare occurrence - piping hot toast brought to the table rather than the DIY rolling toaster that you find in many other hotels.

The menu prices. We'd have liked to have dined in house but it was (for us) too expensive so we went out for a dinner more suited to our budget. I'm sure the food would have been lovely, and the prices are probably on a par with most other hotels in the area so it's not a bad reflection on the hotel, just an unfortunate sign of the times.

The check In went smoothly, the room was clean and tidy, with a big bath, tea and coffee was laid out on the side table. the wardrobe had hangers, Iron board and Iron. the room was small then I normally have, because I do not book it before two weeks, due to the train strikes. The breakfast are always wonderful, with pipping hot food, however, this time I only had green tea, though the next morning I had two Danish with a green tea. The frontend staff are always helpful with a caring touch. also, the hotel looked and smelled clean, so the housekeepers/cleaners are doing a great job to clean the hotel, whereby, all the staff are team players for the benefit of the customers!

First, the hotel is in an excellent location - a short walk anywhere, convenient for the ferry port especially. The staff are friendly and very accommodating. The room spacious and bed comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, traditional - it was nice to have a proper cooked breakfast not rubbery eggs from a buffet. Service efficient and quick. Dinner in the restuarant also good standard of cooking - would recommend.

A few minor niggles - although well maintained, it is looking a little tired in places. But guess that is reflected in the price. It is a large traditional hotel - so that probably goes with the territory unless you are prepared to pay West End Five Star prices. Very basic washing gel in fixed dispenser in bathroom and awkward screen - made washing and showering difficult - as impossible to fllow the instructions not to bend the showe screen out and test the water before getting in impossible - washing a small child would be impossible. Also, at price, some small complimentary shower gel etc would be the norm.

The hotel was pleasant enough and in not too bad a location. We took a stroll down the road to a Mexican restaurant and walked along the port with lots of lovely little shops. We only stayed one night and had one drink in the bar. The young lady that served us in the bar on the night of the 6th July was in the dining room at breakfast time and she was an absolute delight, very friendly and welcoming, a smile goes a long way, fabulous customer service! There was two gentlemen on the desk the morning we were checking out and again they were very friendly and helpful. The corridors are dated and could definitely do with a spruce up but overall the hotel was clean and the rooms are comfortable.

Welcomed at reception by very friendly front of house representative, gave me guidance on places to visit and recommendations. Lovely spa/gym facilities - decent equipment covering all exercises and decent size pool with the spa addons. great breakfast - well presented and great guy ready to welcome you to your seat and take your request. overall, was very good and will defo look to rebook when I return.

Wifi could have been a little quick for the laptop AIRCON!!!!!!!! Room service menu could be placed in room, were sure what was there to order and didnt know how to order.

Breakfast was great, all staff were friendly and the swimming pool was lovely (although also used by non-residents who were clearly members and had their 'spot' in the pool, which felt a little unfriendly). The bathroom was clean and the bed was comfy.

The location of the hotel was noisy at night due to the Wetherspoons across the road and therefore lots of night time activity. The room had no air conditioning and had to have the window open, which unfortunately had the extractor fans or other mechanical device outside the window, which was constantly running.

Overall experience of the hotel was ok,staff if there was a issue were semi helpful, depending on who you spoke to. Did not experience anything but accommodation as eat else where. Accomodation New bathroom suite was well presented and clean, Facilities in sleeping area basic but adequate.

Parking, hotel charge you £5 but can not guarantee you a space. Would recommend hotel patrons only parking rather than gym and brasserie as well. Accommodation. Décor within the room was tired and the furnishings were near life ex carpet was damaged by what looks like the provided hair dryer. Window in room did not close properly so would question maintenance standards. Knowledge of staff is differing the team need to know it all.

The Location is very central, walking distance to Plymouth Hoe and see front. The Hotel was kept clean and tidy with a nice smell from the health club. check in was quick and easy. The room was clean and tidy, with a queen size double bed, bath with a shower over it, flat screen TV, tea/Coffee with some packet of biscuits, iron board and iron was in the room ROOM 118 was big and ideal. The breakfast was outstanding, the food was great and the staff always there when needed, 10/10 this time for my stay. I did not use the health club, because I spent my time seeing friends.
