The very best accommodation will instill the feeling of a home from home. Ann, Pat and Field Farm Cottage provided this on every level. I wish I could have stayed much longer than my three nights!

There was nothing.

Everything was excellent and outstanding A warm friendly welcome. The room was furnished to a very high standard and a lot of thought gone into providing all the essentials and extras for example a small vase of flowers from the garden, a range of soaps, a diverse range of reading, as well as ground coffee, fresh milk and a home made cookie. There was a wide choice for breakfast all prepared made and cooked to perfection using best quality products, including home made jams and marmalade . The hosts could not have been better, location in the country was quiet and peaceful with parking very easy lots of easy walks near by the canal or fields.

Anne & Pat’s (her husband) Field Farm Cottage accommodation was so very delightful, gorgeous room, fabulous, tasty breakfast, superb and very friendly host. This bed & breakfast accommodation is an absolutely splendid Internet find. My husband were guests at a wedding nearby, we needed accommodation and we really landed on your feet. Field Farm Cottage is absolutely gorgeous, 1st rate, bed & breakfast accommodation, peaceful, absolutely gorgeous garden. We will definitely visit this very beautiful, gorgeous corner of England again.

We booked this lovely cottage b & b for a wedding we went to a couple miles away. Absolutely stunning cottage and land, so peaceful and surrounded by lovely nature. Anne, from the very beginning of the booking, has gone beyond what a normal host would do and be. So polite and accommodating to me and my partner to make sure we had what we needed. Breakfast was absolutely lovely with homemade granola, corn flakes, yoghurt, home made jams and to follow a cooked breakfast, absolutely lovely. Anne also helped us get to the wedding venue and also dropped us off at a nearby train station to get home, which she did out of pure kindness because shes such a lovely lady. If you're ever staying in the area I would reccomend staying at Anne's B & B, we wish we was staying longer!

Beautiful location. Clean and cosy room - proper cafetiere coffee available in the room and lovely decor all round. Great bathroom facilities - shower pressure was great and plenty of large, soft towels. Breakfast was outstanding - lots of homemade elements which were exceptional! Very grateful for excellent hosting skills - able to accommodate an early check in and a late night return after a wedding. Best B&B we have ever stayed in by far. Will be recommending to everyone we know!

really quiet. Anne was very friendly but the very best thing was her wonderful garden. we spent a blissful hour by the side of the natural pond with swifts wheeling about

the road the property is on is a danger to life - no pavement for pedestrians and lots of blind bends. we feared for our lives. Also a bit of a hike to the nearest pub along it so eat before you get there. should be possible as check in isn’t till 6pm

Breakfast was delicious. Location was excellent. Beautiful garden and surroundings. Very comfortable bed and nice linen. The owners were friendly and interesting to talk to.

I should have made sure that I had the en-suite room with a shower but that was my fault for not doing the booking properly. I shall know next time. I would probably prefer an earlier check-in time if the option was there.

Fantastic service and made more than welcome by Ann and Pat. Sizable breakfast options. Idyllic countryside location and not too far from Reading Town centre.

Location was a little off the beaten track. However, this was more of a personal issue due to lack of car during the stay and not the fault of the owners. However, they have a large enough of a driveway for those with transport

My hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The house was charming and beautiful, with a lovely garden and I loved watching the birds on the bird feeders. I really loved the old-fashioned bath in which I luxuriated.

The TV was naff, and I had to travel a bit to get an evening meal, but this is part of the cost of living in the countryside.

A very nice property with an amazing garden. The room was decorated nicely. Quality pillows, mattress and duvet. WIFI with Chromecast too. Shower was really great too. Breakfast was amazing. Home made muesli, yoghurt and berries. Eggs, bacon, sausage etc. was also cooked very well. Anne is a wonderful host. We will definitely be back.

Perhaps an ashtray outside for the smokers if possible?
