Every Think was Excellent Except The Relation Between Customers And The Staff !

The Relation Between Customers And The Staff ! No Action or Reaction from the Staff to Customers ! The Customer Except More Hospitality from The Staff ! I Think The Staff Need More Training to Know And How to Deal with Customers ! When We Arrive to the Hotel The Staff Tell Us Thats is Your Building to Stay Which far About 400 m from the Main Building Without Helping Us By Golf Car to Carry Our Bags? They Said You Can Go Walking ! Imagine That’s !

2 nights booked under seperate reservations. Messages in advance and was told we had same room for both nights. Got there to check in and was told we were in different rooms each night. It was explained that it was due to when the room is checked out and comes available. It was sorted out quickly and they took a note to personally check me in and out themeslwces the next day. All was good. Breakfast was good and Wellington Lodge, where we stayed was lovely, albeit a bit of a way from the main building. Booked a taxi through the hotel as mobile reception is poor at the lodge. Elite Cars were also very good but would recommend downloading their app as hotel WiFi is the best way to go, since data and mobile reception is poor. We stayed here for Reading Festival - taxi was £35 to £40 due to heavy traffic!

Distance from main building, was fine for our purposes though.

The Manor House and its grounds are beautiful, my room was amazing, more like a suite than a room. The staff were lovely and I loved having a walk around the estate before dinner. The fitness room and pool were great. Breakfast was absolutely delicious with so much to choose from including freshly made smoothies, a big range of fresh fruit, fresh sour dough bread, traditional English breakfast, cereals etc.

Unfortunately the lift in the Manor House was out of order, and as I was on the second floor I had to drag all my luggage up the stairs as staff did not inform me of the lift, nor offered to get bags sent to my room. Wi-Fi is hit and miss however it is in a rural area so this is to be expected.

Location and service

Member of cleaning staff knocked then entered the room just before 8am when we were still in bed then sorry We went of for Breakfast at 9am when we returned the cleaner was coming out of the room. He asked are you staying or going today we told him going. We were then surprised to find that they had made the bed and changed the towels. We were surprised that the room would not be made up after our check out time. We were left felling a little harass to leave when we just wanted to chill for a bit after our breakfast and pack to leave

If you're looking for a peaceful place, this is it. Far from the noise, it is perfect to recharge your batteries. Will definitely stay there again. Also, if you love golf or just a day out for afternoon tea, it might be worth a try.

The place is divided into multiple buildings, which, if you are tired and arrive at night, it can be confusing. The breakfast and the other facilities are spread out, which, again, it's understandable for a location of this nature. One minus is the parking in front of the building that we stayed , could benefit of a few more spaces rather than having to park in the disabled space.

The setting, location, and room were stunning. The food was delicious with a good selection. The decor of the whole venue was fantastic. It was lovely walking around the grounds, and there was so much available for everyone.... somewhere to relax, and the Mansion House was beautiful. There was a play area for children, cute deck chairs to sit and enjoy the views, and a lovely swimming pool. When we arrived in our room there was a lovely welcome card along with crisps, chocs and drinks. Nice touch!

There were no loungers by the pool, which would have been nice to relax on. We went to the bar after dinner for a cocktail, and although there was a whole page of cocktails listed, we couldn't order one as they had run out of ingredients.

Generally very well run and organised. Breakfast brilliant , all staff friendly and helpful All prices very reasonable

had one evening meal, which was very gourmet and pretty to look at, but the contents not at all appetising when arriving had a normal amount of luggage, but once checked in there was no warning that it was an approximate 250 mtr trek to the room as I was at the farthest room from reception. and no sign of any form of help to move luggage. Very comfortable bar areas but all the beers were of unknown origin and tasted terrible, like tin, I suspect that whoever services the cellar does not drink.

Had a lovely time for a night away with partner, children and grandchildren We golfed and they used the pool Very enjoyable and relaxing. The staff in the restaurant at the mansion were so so friendly and helpful. They couldn’t do enough for us and were fantastic. The Spanish manager runs a fantastic team

The changing facilities for the swimming pool were pretty non-existent for my partner/daughter / grandchildren and they had to get changed in another area away from the pool and walk through a public area and / or by the side of the pool

Staff excellent, nice food, large room (disabled facilities). Lovely spacious feel to the hotel, plenty of car charging spaces. Staff were very helpful getting over our initial problems.

It was one of the coldest weekends of the year - when we got to our room it was freezing (and I mean freezing) cold and the radiator was inaccessible due to a bed pushed hard against it. We contacted reception and a maintenance person accessed the radiator and brought a portable heater to help; he also arranged for an alarm clock/usb charger which should have been there to be brought to the room. Everything was fine after this.

The staff were very attentive and friendly. Making check in quick and easy. The room itself was cute. We had a room with a view of the golf course. We had double doors that could be slightly opened to allow a breeze. The tea selection was nice with a couple of biscoff biscuits my other half favourite. Breakfast was included in our room which consisted of a continental breakfast. You could choose from fresh juice, cereal, a cooked breakfast with sausage bacon tomatoes ect. You also could help yourself to actimel and yoghurt which is a nice thing to start your day with. I chose a latte to go with my breakfast which was a good pick up. In the pantry you have a range of confectionery available from red bull to skittles, which is clearly priced and easy to pay for. The estate itself is huge with wildlife to look at including a bug hotel which is very unique you don't see many places that do that kind of thing.

There were some stains on the net curtain and bottom sheet of the bed. You couldn't really open the balcony doors very wide so the room was sort of stuffy The kettle also switches off before Boiling a new safety thing they have installed into kettles. So our teas were not as hot as we would like
