Amazing staff / customer service both at main reception and dining/restaurant. We were very impressed with the cleanliness and spaciousness of the room and public areas. Very well maintained hotel and car parking facilities were also great - lots of parking spaces and not tight for big cars!

Meal prices at the restaurant were on the steep side (e.g. £30 for a steak, £22 for a fish risotto) but we were told that the restaurant was refurbished (to a high standard) recently so perhaps the prices are to re-coup some of this outlay.

Amazing check in experience. Refitted bar and restaurant looks great! Health club is better than others. Breakfast was decent quality. Room in good decorative order, air conditioned, quiet, and comfortable bed.

I’m always fussy about coffee! Be good to have better facilities for this in the room. We were put off breakfast by the price but then it was added as complimentary at check in. A lovely surprise but worth you having our feedback about the price.

Breakfast was incredible, such a wide choice on offer and it tasted great.

We stayed here on my partners birthday and I emailed the day before to say it was his birthday. They emailed back to say they would arrange a special treat for him but they didn’t arrange anything in the end.

The hotel is bright and airy and very clean. Communal areas are good. Accessible bedrooms are good although the shower is very utilitarian. The issue is the bedrooms have a very cold feel. For too much open space. Breakfast is very good. Grapefruit juice without asking! First class.

Evening meal was as bad as one could imagine. The soup was cold, stodgy and bereft of flavour. My wife's buratta was stale. The fish and chips were dreadful. The chips were luke warm and the fish could have been used for a boomerang. More batter than fish. As for the rib-eye steak it was so full of sinew it would not cut. The flat mushroom was stone cold and the chips were cold also. Deserts were not bad and a good size. The dreadful meal was encapsulated by my asking for vinegar and it being delivered in a small dish. How does one sprinkle that on fish and chips???? A totally disgusting experience.

It was quiet, and functional. The cleaners went about their tasks with professionalism. The breakfast was enjoyable, and the staff on the floor were attentive from the off. Reception staff were a bit hit and miss depending on the time of day you needed their services. The gym/swimming pool was a bonus. Shame the trunks on sale were only for children.

The beds weren't as I would have hoped they would be, neither were the pillows. The water could have been a little more considering it had to make the coffee machine work also. A mix up in the booking meant that dinner was charged separately. This could have developed into something bigger had reception staff continued to refuse to look into the matter..

Free parking. Nice breakfast, though I would prefer it were possible to take smaller portions. Ie pots of sunflower seeds were 5 portions worth. Warm croissants would be nice too. Sausages and bacon etc good quality. My bed sounded a bit springy but actually slept really well. Sound proofing between rooms was good. TV guide on the TV didn't work.

Double room allocated instead of twin. Apparently the room type doesn't come through from booking.com. Room switch was sorted swiftly but a shame as we gave away a slight upgrade. I hated the noisy fridge. Should be possible to unplug overnight.

Was given a Free upgrade to a King room which was amazing however the bed was 2 singles pushed together with a topper on and wasn't that comfortable as gap made it feel like sleeping in to individual beds the breakfast was the best I have had an absolute amazing offering and all staff were very nice I didn't mention about bed as overall I was more than happy with the Hilton

Helpful Staff, were happy to change my friends pillow and duvet in the middle of the night when she had a reaction to the down. I was also impressed that the hotel was happy to give a discounted price when one friend could no longer attend. Easy check in, clean room, great facilities. Plenty of room in the underground car park as well (which is also free with booking). Bit of an awkward location, but easy to walk to shops and restaurants.

Beds were a bit too hard, but that's just personal preference. Breakfast was quite pricey, but no more than other hotels.

The room was lovely and clean and comfortable. It was also nice and quiet. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The pool and sauna were also good.

There was a Nespresso machine in the room and I asked 3 times for decaffeinated pods but nobody seemed to know which ones were?? We ate in the hotel restaurant and the food was very nice however the service was very slow. It appeared that they had two new members of staff who didn’t appear to really know what they were doing, which made everything slower. Saying that they were all very polite and helpful.

The service was good, even if I wasn't informed ahead that I could have checked in on the app. The room was clean and functional. The food at the breakfast was good, even if I don't really enjoy the English breakfast.

The bed was too hard and uncomfortable. There was some mechanic noise in the room, possibly from A/C or similar. The location wasn't the most convenient for someone travelling without a car. The coffee at breakfast was disgusting and I couldn't drink it at all.
