We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we checked in. Katherine showed us to our booked room which was very nice, she also showed us a larger room and asked if we would like that at no extra cost, result. The bed and pillows were to die for and an excellent sleep was had.The Bridge house is set nicely over looking the river wye and you get a fantastic view from the breakfast room. The breakfast was excellent with a great choice . The hosts Katherine and Kevin made our stay worthwhile and are attentive to your needs. We'll worth staying at. Would go back at a later date

Nothing to dislike at all

The house is elegant with a beautiful garden. Room 1 has a beautiful view of the river Wye and in the background, Ross on Wye. We were able to charge our electric car at the property. You can easy walk along the river to get to Ross on Wye. It takes between 10 and 15 minutes. There is a nice pub close to the property where you can eat. The breakfast is excellent with plenty of choices including gluten-free and milk intolerance substitution. This is a charming place. The owners and staff are very welcoming and helpful. Do not hesitate.

The house is close to the road crossing the village, it can be a bit noisy at night. But, it did not stop us to sleep well.

On a recent trip to England to visit friends and sightsee, it was recommended we visit the town of Ross-on Wye, so we booked the Bridge House for two nights. If I had to choose between what we liked best--the accommodations, hosts, location or breakfasts--I'm not sure I could. All were outstanding, and we would not hesitate to stay again. The room offered a gorgeous view across the garden and river to the town, dominated by the church steeple. Everything in it was beautifully appointed and thoughtful, and the bed was extremely comfortable with lovely linens. Breakfast? Heavenly, served in the light and airy dining room with options chosen the night before, so no delays in serving time. Hosts Katherine and Kevin were SO welcoming, and when we asked for a suggestion for a hike, immediately provided a map and detailed instructions that were spot on. The hike is one of our favorite memories of the trip. They also recommended the pub directly across the street on our first night there since we didn't want to go far. We sat outside by the river and had a hearty, delicious dinner. However, the walk into town is quick and easy too, along an idyllic path along the river and through a park. We had a terrific dining experience on our second night at the Italian restaurant in town. Our stay at Bridge House was one of our favorite stops in a 10-day trip. Don't hesitate to book here. You'll absolutely love it. (Photos show view from our room, and looking across to the Bridge House (white building) from the town path.

Nothing we did not like!

Truly superb - Kathryn and Kevin made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The house is located just by the river, has immense charm, and has been beautifully restored. The room was immaculate, the bed very comfortable, and it had the best shower of any we've ever stayed in. Breakfast was excellent - local produce and perfectly cooked (the black pudding especially). Very dog friendly - our two cockapoos were just as welcome as we were ! Most important of all though was how at home we felt. Kathryn and Kevin are exceptional hosts and lovely people. We'll be back - and looking forward to it already.

Nothing we could fault - genuinely the whole stay was one of the very best.

Lovely setting. Exceedingly clean. Great garden with an exceptional view down the Wye Valley and to Ross on Wye. Large, spacious bedrooms and a glorious shower. The Lounge is wonderfully inviting with a well-stocked honesty bar. The breakfast room is especially great (airy and bright) and the breakfast exceedingly scrumptious. We felt very well looked after. Has a large carpark and within easy reach of tourist attractions along the Wye Valley.

The Hotel is on the main access road into Ross on Wye so do expect a little road noise in the Summer (particularly in the front facing rooms) with the windows open. It does quieten down in the later part of the evenings but starts up again in the morning. If you are a light sleeper; bring ear plugs. In colder weather, this is not likely to be a problem because the windows are soundproof when fully closed. Otherwise, the rooms are very, very comfortable and tastefully furnished.

Absolutely everything - situated on a nice quiet road but close to the motorway for ease of access. A lovely detached building with nice gardens and a view to die for - ample car-parking space. We were greeted by helpful, friendly proprietors who were supported by pleasant part-time staff. Our room was just perfect - the bedding and bathroom towels had an unexpected touch of luxury - a bonus was the stunning view across the River Wye. Like everything else in this stylish b&b, the breakfast was of the highest standard. We stayed for three nights - I wish it had been a week !

The hotel is tastefully decorated with a lovely area to relax and have a drink. There is also a beautiful garden with a superb view of the river Wye, countryside, and the church in Ross on Wye. The breakfast was high quality set in an exquisite dining room, and the hosts were very friendly, attentive, and nothing was too much trouble. Good off the road parking at the rear of the property.

Everything was just perfect. There was nothing to criticise. We will stay there again on our next visit. The hotel is next to a road, but we did not find it too busy. The room had triple glazing so it blocked out road noise. There is a 10 minute walk from the hotel to the town where the restaurants are located, but there is a pub close by that sells food.

A warm welcome on arrival, the accommodation is excellent. The breakfast menu is second to none. The quality, presentation, and service is also excellent. Lovely garden setting and maintained to a high level. Great outdoor sitting areas Within easy walking distance of the town centre along the bank of the River Wye. Plenty of on site parking.

The owners were very welcoming and allowed us to have a late check out when we requested it. Breakfast was amazing - lots of choice and freshly made by the owners. One of us is vegetarian and they catered very well for this. Our room was lovely and nicely decorated. There were tea and coffee making facilities and fresh filtered water provided. The location was lovely- just outside of town just a 10 min scenic walk. The shower was the best i have ever had!

The bed was quite squeaky and not the most comfortable I have slept in.

The breakfasts were amazing with a good selection to choose from. There was a choice of cereals, fresh fruit salad and full cooked breakfasts. Options of tea, coffee and fruit juices. This was cooked especially for you as you were requested to select what you would like the evening before and to say what time you wanted to dine. This was an excellent system and worked really well. There was no problem if you wanted to change your mind in the morning either. There was plenty to eat as the portions were ample.

The only thing I would say was that our room overlooked a busy road and so it was a little noisy but the traffic calmed completely at night. As it was mild weather we had the window open at night, with window closed the traffic noise was ok.
