I had a difficulty with my breakfast. I always state that I am a vegan and that I only have a continental breakfast. My host had gone to a lot of trouble to get me vegan products but had also bought vegan sausages and was over keen that I ate a cooked breakfast. It was awkward. Eventually I had to explain my medical condition as to why I couldn't eat a cooked breakfast. I don't think I should have had to do that. The second morning it all started over again. Really difficult.

The bathroom was lovely but there were no handles on the bath for safely getting in and out and no grab rail to hold onto for the shower. The host was an Indian gentleman and had his Hindu house gods in the hallway and every room. It was very over the top. There was no imagery in my bedroom, but for that reason alone I wouldn't go back there.

The whole package was amazing. The room was so spacious with more enough storage space. Not only was tea and coffee left, but fruit teas and hot chocolate plus kit kats. Lovely option available for fresh millk. Hosts could not be more friendly. Extra blanket and heater available if needed.(not needed by us as room was just right with the heating provided). Bathroom .... Lovely to have option of a bath and shower. We certainly appreciated a soak after our days out. Breakfast ... Wow just wow. From presentation, to choice to quality all amazing.

Having to leave

A great B&B a lovely home and our Hosts Bahrat and Anne were very helpful in providing excellent information for our sightseeing and evening restraunt locations. Bahrat provided a wonderful, freshly prepared breakfast each morning.

For me personally, Kevin, the bed was comfortable but I felt like I was leaning to the edge each night, as there was a slight ridge down the middle of the mattress topper.

The welcome was excellent to this lovely property with amazing views, the quality of the room cleanliness was excellent and the facilities well maintained. This is a very quiet location and gave an excellent night's sleep. Breakfast was excellent, with a good selection of cereals and a cooked breakfast. The property represented excellent value for money. Would thoroughly recommend this property and if in the area will definitely stay again.

Very comfortable and well fitted out. Friendly hosts. Excellent breakfast (Large shared table) And we found a really good Italian restaurant in Monmouth Few bedrooms but they are large. There are great views from upstairs sitting room and it was a lovely experience.

But of a walk up and down hill or drive to eat in the evening but manageable. Taxis available to book in advance in Monmouth Small car park

The property has a lounge upstairs with incredible views for guests to use. Our bedroom was cozy with a modern twist and extremely comfy! The en-suite was gorgeous and had a lovely power shower! Bharat and Ann went to every detail to make sure that our stay was extremely welcoming, they went out of their way to cater to dietary needs, leaving small touches in the room and making the breakfast to order, it was all so perfect, we really really recommend it!

From booking our stay the host Bharat was helpful and responsive. The accomodation was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and we were made to feel welcome. It's 5 minutes drive from Monmouth and the mountain views we're lovely. A very wide choice of lovely dried breakfast items, then there was the cooked breakfast too. It set is up for the day. I would highly recommend staying here. Thank you Bharat

The breakfast was faultless with everything you could want for and cooked to your individual taste. I’d like to clarify my reason for not giving full marks for location. We are both not as young as we were so would have struggled to walk into town. Fortunately this was only a small matter…I drove.

The host could not have been more friendly and helpful - thank you. The room was super and the breakfast generous. It's a bit of a walk back into town (25 mins and a steep, but short, hill on the way back), but if you're not concerned about that then this is an excellent place to stay. I am happy to recommend it.

Exceptional accommodation providing large, extremely comfortable bedroom & en-suite facilities. Beautiful lounge for use by guests giving stunning views of the Monmouthshire countryside. Bharat & Ann were excellent hosts, friendly & very welcoming. Excellent breakfast options. Great location for visiting the sights of Monmouthshire, Herefordshire & the beautiful Wye Valley. Highly recommended.
