On arrival we were informed we had to pay more for parking in the car park, which was irritating. However, the room was very nicely laid out and very clean. Could’ve done with an information pack in there though, especially for the tv; you needed to be a MENSA member to operate it. The barman was great and looked after us with recommendations on the menu. He was soon to be finishing his bar shift and was then going in to the kitchen to help out. Legend. All the staff were friendly but I couldn’t really tell who was in charge. The food was very good, tasty stuff all round and the wine was at the perfect temperature. Breakfast had a good choice, lovely sausages and perfectly poached eggs. All round we liked it here and would come again when the current renovations are complete. (It was a bit noisy in the morning). The wall papers are a bit quirky and the wall pictures are a bit disjointed in terms where you are. I.e Salisbury. Apart from that, all good 👍

Our stay at Milford Hall was wonderful. The staff are so friendly and nothing is too much to ask, they really made our trip. The spa is lovely and the treatments we received were excellent. The room was a great size and the bed was comfortable. The room was also really well equipped with a heater, a fan, a coffee machine and tea making facilities. The food in the restaurant was good quality. The location is a particular highlight as it is only a ten minute walk from the centre of Salisbury.

The restaurant isn't an Italian as advertised on their website, but the food was lovely nonetheless. The bathroom was a little dated and small but nothing that hindered our stay. There was also some noise during the night but this is the nature of such an old building and nothing some earplugs didn't deal with!

Hotel is clean and comfortable. Location great - 10 mins walk to centre of Salisbury. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

The hotel did not have sufficient food for breakfast. We got to the breakfast room at 09:15 (Breakfast is served between 8 and 10 ). The first member of our group got the last sausage, another friend got the last rasher of bacon and I got the last portion of scrambled egg. There did not appear to be a staff member allocated to monitor the situation. The manager was apologetic but ineffective. The filter coffee was stewed. The shower in our twin room was malfunctioning.

Stayed 3 nights. Staff were amazing. Location was a short walk into town. Plenty of parking available. They stored out own milk in fridge for us and froze out freezer blocks for our cool bag. The smorgasbord breakfast looked excellent, and at £10 would have been great value Sadly the day we had breakfast it was order only. So only 1 bacon, 1 sausage, 1 egg etc. I would have liked more. Dinner was nice. We had the mixed plate for two, which was excellent. Shower in the bath was good and powerfull, with instant hot water. Towels large and fluffy were changed every day. Room air conditioner was good and powerful. Towel heater in bathroom allowed us to dry the clothes we washed overnight. Chinese takeaway, restaurant, pubs, all short walking distance for food. The staff made out stay exceptional and would definitely stay again.

Only one part roll of toilet paper in bathroom on arrival, second day we had two, third day back to one again. What is it with toilet rolls that we end up like Oliver twist begging for more. We are seasoned travelers all round the world, and luckily we carry spare rolls with us just for this situation. Put a spare roll in the room.

The receptionist was brilliant in finding us an alternative room because the booking I had made via booking.com had not pulled through to the hotel, which meant upon our arrival the hotel was not expecting us (and so could not provide us with a twin room). Very much recommend the restaurant particularly for their burgers! Breakfast was also good value. Location is super, with a short stroll into Salisbury.

The bed was a little small for people who are 5’9”. Booking.com has no way of being contacted if the booking that has been paid for hasn’t been shared / picked up by the hotel.

Breakfast was excellent. The decor is tired, certainly in the room we had. The shower was excellent and the bed really comfortable. The view was non existent but I did ask for a ground floor. The walls are paper thin and one could easily hear conversations and tge TV next door. Staff were excellent. I do appreciate there was a notice displaying refurbishment. We were not inconvenienced. Overall very good. The TV was excellent with a very large choice of programmes.

The staff were great and we enjoyed the breakfast.

We were looking forward to the Spa but it was not functioning we actually booked the hotel because it had a Spa so big disappointment. If we had managed to use the Spa we found that we would have to pay extra. This is not the case in other hotels we have stayed at. We were also under the impression that breakfast was included but again this was not the case. The issue of extra payments is not clear in you advertising. Location of room on ground floor was not up to expectations, but the room was good and the bed comfortable.

From a pleasant greeting to a cheery farewell, the stay at Milford Hall was enjoyable. Location is ideal for access into Salisbury town, and with room to park very convenient. On this occasion we did not use the spa facilities but would consider this on another visit. So yes, we would return. Our room on the ground floor was neat , clean and comfortable. A little disconcerted by the one small biscuit we shared with our tea on arrival, (not replaced during our stay), but wouldn't mark them down for that! Cooked breakfast was warm and plentiful, trays refilled and fresh looking. However the continental choice was limited, with empty trays, limited fruit choice and an empty yogurt bowl. We did not eat an evening meal, but enjoyed the comfort of the lounge bar area on returning from our nights out. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.

The weekday breakfast times are a little early for those on holiday. A number of people turned up at the very end of the session and the time slot had to be extended by default, which is unfair on staff trying their best to ensure all residents get equal treatment. Although I noted there was not a glimmer of complaint amongst staff, who were happy to help. The dining room also felt a little small, weekend breakfast had queues for tables. However, these are logistical things and not really something to dislike. On the whole it was a pleasant stay,

The room was lovely and spacious (we stayed in a large double). The staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel was only a few minutes walk into the town centre. Lovely one night stay, the hotel was great - only a short walk into the hustle and bustle of Salisbury Town centre. The lady who greeted us on reception was so lovely/bubbly and very helpful - on arrival to our room we noticed that the toilet didn't flush, so on our way out for dinner we mentioned this and they said someone would fix it right away (to which they did!) Breakfast (buffet) was great - we stayed on a bank holiday and the hotel was fully booked so breakfast was a little chaotic (items quickly ran out) but as soon as we mentioned this to the staff it was immediately rectified. We would definitely return.

A comfortable hotel, close to the centre, and despite small things the staff were really polite, friendly and likable. Also, the food in the restaurant was excellent. We arrived late but they still fitted us in for a meal despite being very busy. I would certainly go back.

Sometimes the staff didn't know or pass on certain information. FYI we weren't told when breakfast was and had to ask. In the restaurant they didn't know what the beers were. And three lightbulbs weren't working in our room.
