Easy parking, welcoming staff, lovely lunch beside the cosy fire, well appointed, nicely decorated and very clean room, luxurious toiletries in bathroom, excellent wood-fired pizza at dinner, very comfortable bed, tranquil view from bedroom, delicious breakfast, served quickly in a tastefully decorated dining room. I was travelling with my dog and the welcome pack for dogs was a lovely touch...treats, poo bags and a tennis ball. The location is ideal for exploring this area. There is easy access to the fells, a little farm shop in the village is worth a visit and a short drive from Grassington, a delightful larger village with interesting shopping and a range of places to eat.

That I was only there for one night!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming bed and breakfast, and it exceeded all our expectations. The owners and staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were not only cosy but also impeccably clean, making for a truly comfortable stay. The breakfast and lunch were tasty, with a variety of delicious options to choose from. What truly set this place apart were the thoughtful extra touches like toiletries and hospitality trays, which made us feel truly pampered. It is a fantastic base to walk, we went on a 6 mile walk to Linton and around the quarry which was recommended by the staff and they even printed us a very helpful map with directions. We can't wait to return for another relaxing getaway or food from the delicious restaurant!

The only negative thing we experienced was the lack of water pressure in the shower which is to be expected from a historic building. But this didn’t spoil our stay at all.

The staff were friendly, polite and approachable, the facilities exceeded our expectations for a small b&b, the food was AMAZING and the scenery and decor was comforting and beautiful. Love that it is pet friendly unfortunately couldn’t bring our dog to this trip however will hopefully be back for her to enjoy it just as much as us. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, I am always cold and for building with such historic structure i didn’t expect to get warm easily but it didn’t take me long to warm up and have a great night sleep. The owners were attentive and showed the customer service approach that I would expect in a 5*! They were wonderful hosts and have a beautiful Inn situated around the picturesque countryside. Have recommended to friends and family and would happily visit again in the future. We visited for a quiet night away from the craziness of our day jobs in the ambulance service and it was just the rest and recouping we needed before our next shifts so THANK YOU!

If we had time to stay longer!

The location was perfect for walks and opposite a bus stop to get to Skipton/Grassington. The food was exceptional and the hosts very friendly and accommodating.

Seeing some of the other rooms available we definitely came out losing, ours was quite small and facing the busy road so a little noisy. The bathroom had a cracked sink and the taps were loose. However this didn't detract from the enjoyment of our holiday overall just wish we'd gone for the bigger room with jacuzzi bath and King size four poster bed!! If we had this review would have been 10/10 as other than the room everything else was spot on!

We loved the inn/hotel from the minute we walked in. We were greater by Phil and shown to our lovely room with a gorgeous view On the bed was a welcome letter, such a nice touch. We had a few drinks and then changed for our evening meal. When we came down, we were shown to our table, drinks order taken, and menu to purose. The food choices were excellent We chose nibbles and the sharing plater. It was great, tasty, and filling. We were offered the sweet menu but declined. Our room was comfy, with big pillows, tea, coffee, and biscuits. Outside was a fridge with milk and water. We came down to breakfast and were greeted by one of the team ( I think it was Phil's wife). Coffee order taken, which swiftly arrived. We both decided on the Yorkshire breakfast, which was delicious. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we will return Many thanks Stephen and Caroline.

Nothing!

A very warm and relaxed welcome from Phil… Selection if local real ales Excellent menu, quality, cooking and presentation of both dinner and breakfast Jacuzzi bath in room. Lovely, locally produced toiletries provided Fresh milk available for our room

A slight concern; we had a great room, but access was up three carpeted steps and the en suite bathroom was up a further two, then down own.. This wasn’t made clear when I booked. Thankfully we managed without any slips or falls 🤭

Great location with easy parking. Lovely bar, restaurant and outside space. Breakfast was very good, with lots of choice. I liked the fact there was a fridge provided in the corridor with fresh milk and chilled water. The toiletries in the bathrooms were excellent quality.

The shower got dangerously hot without altering the temperature gauge. The maximum temperature needs restricting to avoid an accident. The room had very few electric sockets which made it difficult to safely use the kettle.

Excellent location to explore around the Dales. Skipton and Grassington are a short drive away and there are plenty of other places in easy reach, The Inn itself is excellent, the staff are very welcoming and went out of their way to help at any opportunity. The bar has a good selection of beers and spirits, and you can relax after a day out exploring. We had breakfast as part of our booking and we were not disappointed. There was a lot of options to choose from, the food was well cooked and did not leave us feeling we needed anything more. Indeed this also went for the evening meal where there was plenty to choose from on the menu, and again the food was superb and the service was excellent Our room was spacious with a lovely en-suite. Everything we needed was provided and it allowed us to relax and enjoy our stay. I have to say that the owners and their staff made us feel very welcome and did everything they could to ensure that we had an enjoyable and relaxing stay. The Inn was a cracking find and we will be returning for another stay in the future. If you are looking for accommodation from which to explore the Dales, the Devonshire Inn is an excellent option.

Pub 5 mins from Grassington, with a cosy and welcoming interior , super decor and a great stay. Great choice of local beer. Rooms are fresh, clean, very nice, hospitality tray. Strong shower and nice bathroom, good toiletries. Cold water and milk in a fridge to hand, choice of teas. Lovely little beer garden, plenty of seating, veggie patch. Friendly and relaxed staff. Very smooth service, professional but not stuffy - the owners are very knowledgeable and approachable. Well presented food, great cheese board, good wine list. All locally sourced products.

Lovely location. The building is attractive and well maintained. The host is friendly, professional and helpful. The welcome letter was a lovely touch. The room was attractive , clean and comfortable. Care is given to what is needed to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable. The food is delicious and care is taken to source quality produce. Would love to return.

Nothing. Note to booking.com - check in time is 3pm not to 2.30pm as we were told, so we arrived too early, prefer not to do that.
