Lovely staff, all very friendly and helpful. Made us feel welcome. We didn't spend much time in the bar downstairs but it had a great, warm atmosphere (as well as a lovely dog!), and really charming decor. We didn't end up needing to use it but they offer room service as well as breakfasts and other food prepared in the adjoining deli. The room was very clean with a good sized, comfortable bed, a TV, small desk and some wardrobe space to hang our clothes. The shower settings were highly customisable for different pressures and temperatures. I had seen some reviews about noise coming up from the bar but it wasn't bad at all. There was some music every now and then but it stopped at a very reasonable time. The location itself wasn't too loud either; we had the room window open for quite a while and outside noise was quite minimal.

The only thing I was somewhat disappointed in was the lack of a kettle/tea and coffee making facilities in the room, as this had been listed as a feature on the booking advertisements; I'm guessing it's just an older ad that needs updating.

Great communication. friendly and welcoming. Locals in the bar made us feel welcome. We stayed as it's 15 mins walk from the Utilita arena. The perfect place for pre and after show drinks if you want to make a night of it. Parking available on site and street parking. Comfy beds. Sunday lunch was lovely. Full English before we left at the deli which is part of the pub. Fob provided for easy access so you can come and go as you please. Everything we needed to enjoy our stay Would definitely stay again. Thank you ☺️

A Kettle in the room would've been nice but wasn't that fussed as there's facilities downstairs for coffee.

Location is on a bus route approximately ten minutes from Sheffield city centre. Bus number 9 stops across from the hotel ask for Zion Lane just after the fish and chip shop. Going into Sheffield the bus stop is right outside the hotel but check the times a list is on the bus stop. There are other buses that operate along the same route but at different bus stops. The hotel super clean with paid breakfast and light meals. The room I had was really good very clean and spacious. The hotel had a very warm and welcoming atmosphere and I shall be returning. Thank you to all staff and management for a enjoyable stay.

The welcome from Kelly was friendly. She showed me to my room and explained the security fobs. She also sold me a breakfast token and explained how the system works with the cafe next door via the internal door. The television is very complex but I found my way through the options so that I could watch my favourite programmes. I had a late pint in the bar which was very busy even approaching midnight. The locals were keen to make conversation.

Directions from the local tram stop using Google Maps were unclear, so I arrived via the long way round. After trying the round using Bodmin Road and a couple of linking footpaths, a 20 minute walk became am easy 10 minute stroll. Beware of the guard dogs in the yard along Bodmin Road.

Our room was very clean, beds were comfortable, though it was small for three people with luggage. The pub located on the ground floor was great and all the staff were lovely and helpful. We had full English breakfast every morning and lunch once. It was easy to reach Sheffield centre with a tram-train from Attercliffe stop or Arena stop just a 6 minute walk from the hotel. We all fell in love with Stella ...a friendly dog living at the pub!

Big, comfortable bed and clean, modern bathroom. Nice duvet cover to touch and warm duvet.

It was cold when I arrived and still, after showering. A lot of very steep stairs led to the room. There was no window in the bathroom. The window was on halfway to the ceiling and seemed condensed. I did not try to open it. I prefer windows on the side wall that I can open easily as I get fresh air in every day where I sleep.

The location of the property was close to the utilita arena where we had been in the day so it wasn’t hard to find.. the breakfast was absolutely beautiful and was such good value for the price we paid and filled us up for most of the day??

Overall the stay was brilliant,the only thing that put me off staying again was a very strong smell of weed on the stairway upto the bedrooms.. there was no smell in the actual bedrooms or the downstairs pub/breakfast area but the stairs area was very strong smelling??

Room was very clean, bed was comfortable and good shower. Staff were lovely and helpful. I think it was well worth the money. My room was cosy and nicely furnished.

I would have liked a kettle in room and a wee light , rather than just the main light would have been nice.

Lovely quaint and quirky pub, has personality all the way through very cosy and family feel to the place, the way its been decorated is fab very unique something to see everywhere. Very cheap and comfortable, great location very easy to find and staff very warm and welcoming and the beautiful bulldog 😍

Not a big issue as can purchase from downstairs but a kettle and some small brewing up facilities in the room but as said can purchase brews.

Full English was excellent . room was big , had a bed each for 3 of us , very clean , staff were all lovely and helpfull . We went to a concert at the Arena and this place is so handy for that , bout a 20 mins walk away . Its very reasonably priced , nothing fancy , its a Band B in a pub . We came back after the gig and had a few drinks in the pub , it was very friendly and we had a good time . Definately would stay here again .
