Not a bad location, car park is a 1 minute walk away with the hotel offering 30% discount to park, it ended up being £4.85 for 24 hours which is really reasonable. Really comfy bed, fan provided so kept room cool, coffee + tea, shampoo/conditioner provided. It really js fantastic value for money. Everything was clean.

For the price of the room, there’s not much to complain about. All I would say is there’s no plugs at the side of the beds which seems a little bit silly.

Clean, spacious room, only a 10 minute walk to the Crucible Theatre (reason for my stay) and easily accessible to the centre of Sheffield. The area around the hotel is well lit. Staff were friendly and helpful and though the car park at the hotel was full, I was able to park at the NCP which is right next door and receive a 20% off voucher. The included breakfast is excellent.

Really cheap car park next door to the hotel. Budget hotel, comfy bed, tea + coffee provided etc. For the price that you pay, it’s really good value.

Things could’ve been touched up - things like peeling paint etc however this is a budget hotel and worth the money paid.

Excellent location, the room was a good size and very clean.

The breakfast was dreadful! Most of the food was cold or had run out and not been replenished. They had run out of plates and these were not replaced.

the bed was enormous and so so comfortable, tv had lots of channels on & netflix and youtube available

Limited veggie choice for breakfast

Having read the reviews after I’d booked, I had doubts. However, the whole stay was lovely. No buts! Me and my mum stayed in what was a triple room with 2 single beds and a pull out sofa bed (not needed). It was nice and clean and did us perfectly fit a night at the dogs and not having to drive back to Manchester. We paid £47 for a triple room with breakfast and apart from some kind of herbs in the beans it was fine. Bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, beans, hash browns. 3 choice of cereal, fruit bowl and few pastries. Tea, coffee, juice. Better than expected for what we paid. If you want 5* you won’t get that for £16 each!

Vending machine not working but not a major problem

We had a lovely big room with a big bed and bath. Lots of hot water and a good size mug for our cups of tea. Staff were polite and helpful.

It was unusual there was no one to greet you at breakfast to check you were supposed to be there and I didn't see anyone check the temperature of the hot food The breakfast selection was unusual, limited selection of cereal and fruit, only had yogurt one day. The plate warmer was in use but not turned on, the selection of hot food was a surprise not often you get sweetcorn and chicken nuggets. No vegetarian sausages or similar.

The staff were helpful and kind.
