Great value for money. Perfect if you're looking for a budget stay but remember you get what you pay for. No frills hotel in a convenient location 5-10 mins walk from the main shops, Universities and other main attractions Great that they had a bar downstairs so I could grab a drink to take to my room, and they also gave me some soya milk in a jug for my morning tea.

Pillows weren't to my liking (but I am a very fussy pillow person) The room was super hot but no air con. There was a sign to say there are fans available at reception but I was already in bed so just accepted my fate for the night.

The room was spacious and clean and the mattress was very good. The bathroom was very clean with a good, powerful shower. Despite the nearby tram the room was also quiet. The staff were all extremely friendly! And the location is perfect with a good arrangement in place with the next door car park.

The breakfast buffet isn't perfect if you want something other than a full English breakfast. I would have preferred more fruit, yoghurt etc. The toilet paper in the room is dreadful, a cheap one-ply sheet unfit for purpose. There were a lot of drug users / drunken people in the area.

Clean & adequate for our overnight stay, Location to the event we were attending was the main reason for choosing to stay here!

Being charged £10 for a half hour early check-in. Air conditioning unit would only blow out warm air (no matter which setting it was on. Room 212) & so had to sleep with the window ajar as it was a very warm day/evening, this affected our sleep due to traffic & the odd drunken noises from outside the hotel & to add to our sporadic nights sleep a squeaky bed leg (bottom left) every slight movement we made. So an 8 rather than a 10 score!

Great, comfortable stay. Really nice and helpful staff. Dinner was a little bit overpriced for how much you get (I ordered the indian salad as a main with chicken and it cost 13GBP). But the buffet breakfast more than made up for it and I definitely feel like I got my money's worth! The room rate was also very good and the location was nice and quiet despite being dead in the town centre. 100% would stay here again!

I know hotel food is always more expensive but I don't think 13GBP for a salad is particularly justifiable. It was extremely tasty but the portion size was small and it was still just a salad at the end of the day.

Close to the city centre, everything is in walking distance. The rooms are small- however very thoughtfully put together and intentionally laid out to make the most of the space. It had everything we needed. The hotel itself was clean, staff were very friendly &helpful. It was also quiet at night which is good. The price was brilliant for what we got!

It’s not a negative as such…I think the bathrooms were old, so it looked a little dirty. However on further looking it was more wear and tear.

The location was great for O2 Academy and right next to the carpark. The room and common areas were very clean. Room was basic, but had everything you'd need for a short, or overnight stay. Other guests and staff were friendly. We didn't eat there, so can't comment on the food, but the menu looked ok. We'd stay again when in Sheffield.

Personal choice, but the mattress was a little too firm and the bed was very creaky. Otherwise, comfortable. The rooms aren't sound proofed, so noise from doors, tvs, flushing toilets and talking can be heard.

Staff were very friendly and efficient and the room was just as expected. Breakfast was good value for money, we arrived with only 10 minutes left of breakfast and there was still plenty of choice and the food was still fresh. Very impressed. Easy few minute walk into the center or to the nearest tram/bus stop. Little tip, do be aware there are some 'interesting' characters around the pub on the corner and up the hill at the bus stops, but no one bothered us, just keep walking by ☺️

The window in the room was unlocked which I couldn't tell when I checked at night so it was pretty noisy during the night (I used earplugs in the end 😊). When I looked again in the morning I released it was unlocked but not actually open, which was why I couldn't tell initially. Would be good for housekeeping to make sure all windows are securely closed and locked when making up rooms.

Very comfortable bed, location within walking distance of loads of great restaurants and an excellent restaurant/ food court (Kommune check it out). People mention the area being slightly dodgy, I had no issues. Looks like a bit of a real UK city and very close to the main high street. Excellent value for money in comparison to surrounding hotels. If you were comparing it to hotels in Europe the value for money is less good. Very close to the train station and (for me) the coach station. Very short walk though along quiet streets which may be an issue for some. Recommend arriving during daylight hours. Very close to tram stops.

Bathroom was very small but perfectly adequate for me. Good basic toiletries (shower gel, shampoo) but if you're looking for luxury bring your own. Not much storage space. But it was a short stay so the small area for hanging things was adequate. My room was adjoining another which may be the cause but the walls are very thin. I could hear everything happening in the room next door. Luckily.y neighbours quietened down at a reasonable time, otherwise I may have had a sleepless night. Window didn't open much but I guess it's standard on a high floor. Glad it wasn't summer.

Mehmet was amazing and very helpful when answering my questions. I feel he is a credit to your team. The room was lovely and great for my needs. It was extremely useful that the hotel was not far from where I needed to be and the train station.

It was nice to have the window open to cool the room down but air con would have been useful given the level of noise outside. The pillows were really hard which I found uncomfortable.

The staff (Turkish guy), was so helpful and lovely, he gets absolutely top marks. The hotel is clean, room are nice, good value for money. Overall, even though there were a few issues, I would definitely stay again.

Lipstick on one of the coffee cups in the room which was a bit disappointing. Drains need sorting as smelly when toilet flushed. Our TV didn't work (I'm not really begrudging this too much as it could happen anywhere), didn't try to use until the morning. The very helpful member of staff did try to rectify the tv issue to be fair and he was quick in his response.
