It is the best hotel I have ever stayed! I enjoyed everything about this fantastic place! The location is just wonderful! You will love Oxford street with its multiple cosy cafes and restaurants. It is probably the best area to stay in Southampton. The staff was always very helpful and supported me with all issues. They keep this new property very clean and provide an exceptionally comfortable accommodation. If you have special requirements - they will definitely find a solution for you.

I liked everything!

The location was excellent, local to good cafés and bars. A pleasant area. The double glazing was effective regarding outside noise. Nice bathroom. Comfortable bed. I was emailed to say our room was ready early. This was a nice touch. WiFi was strong.

There was no reception, but we were able to access our room via key codes. I didn't report it at the time as we were time limited, but the television had no signal, and there was no hair dryer in the room. The sound proofing within the building was not good. We could hear conversations from the people in the room above us.

We absolutely loved the location! Oxford Street is a beautiful oasis, designed for pedestrian traffic only! It has multiple venues for eating and drinking and is not too far from numerous sites and shopping.

The stairs!!! Oxford Street Stays is a narrow town home with multiple floors. If you come with hand luggage only, it would be perfect! We also didn’t realize that we would be dependent on WiFi in order to receive the instructions for accessing our room. Coming from Canada, we had our phones in Airplane mode for the entire trip which made accessing Free WiFi a constant challenge!

The location was great as we were getting onto a cruise ship across the street. The room overall was nice and clean. The stairways and other areas were very clean and well taken care of. The location was very lively, but the rooms were very safe and secure.

We're not sure if we were aware that there were no common area or anything else. There was just the room and stairs coming up to the room. We may have overlooked what the description of the property was. It was more like an Air BNB that a hotel. We were aware of the noise before hand, but what we weren't aware of was the music was all TECHNO. All you heard was the same beat until early morning.

The booking process was extremely easy and we were also offered Early Check-In when the room was ready. The room was very well cleaned and everything that was needed in the rooms was there and worked. The shower pressure was sufficiently powerful and the water temperature was perfectly adjustable. The location was ideal, with it being lively and close to when expected and quite when needed. The staff were extremely quick to respond when there was a small incident with the room above us and we were looked after and compensated for the inconvenience more than adequately.

Location fabulous room is very very basic not even somewhere to hang clothes. But it was very clean. Value for money but room was so cold 🥶 even with rad up high I had to sleep in a jumper and socks over night clothes. Was so cold in the morning I left early just to sit in a warm car. Would use again due to location and price but would take a portable heater

Location is superb, plenty of nice restaurants on the street. Instructions to get the key was clear and easy to get in, Carper is very fluffy, Bed very comfortable, Stylish bathroom tap.

Few hooks in bathroom and some hanging rail in room would be very handy Mirror wasn't securely fastened Bathroom door require adjustment, not closing properly

Great central location. Comfortable and clean. Easy check-in and checkout. Comfortable, albeit quite small, bed and bedding. Good communication from owners. Great value for money. Rooms in a vibrant little street full of bustling restaurants but once they have closed for the night it is remarkably quiet. Short walk to harbour front and only c. 25 mins easy walk to St. Mary's Stafium.

Could have done with another plug socket.

Beyond expectations! Clean, comfortable and centrally located, at an affordable price that left us Canadian travellers prepared for something less. Great shower, excellent bed, and despite a bit of confusion on arrival due to Booking.com not communicating the door codes properly, that was quickly and kindly sorted out. Would definitely stay here whenever we're back in Southampton!
