Lovely room with everything you could want. Staff were lovely and food exceptional.

Felt that with the price of the room £229 for one night that breakfast could have been included!

Not a great deal! We had already been to the Pig in the South Downs and wanted to see what yours would be like being in a city not in the countryside. It lived up to our expectations of what the Pig ethos is all about. Your staff were super friendly, informative and helpful and we will be back to explore other Pigs around the country. Have bought your book which is a real gem! Looking to organise a reunion with my family spread around the world and will look at the Pig in Coombe Devon which looks stunning.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff were amazing. On arrival we felt like we were being welcomed into a home from home. The staff offered to take our bags to the room and any requests we had were no trouble at all. The room was fantastic with every detail thought out. Breakfast was perfect!!

I really couldn't fault anything from our stay. If I had to pick one thing then it would be that the TV was hard to view from the bed as it's not centered. It's so minor though and obviously didn't impact our stay at all.

A wonderful experience. my first time at a Pig hotel and based on this I will be exploring more! Great location, wonderful atmosphere, loved the quirkiness and luxurious touches like herbal teas, plenty of free water and fresh milk, radio playing gently in the room on arrival, robes etc Superb service from all of the staff. Only wished I could have stayed for longer! Thanks to the team x

A few more higher level tables for dinner would be nice, but no complaints

My Husband had recently had heart surgery and we were on the ground floor. Beautiful luxurious and comfortable bed with a brilliant bathroom . Maisie and Lucy were fabulous and nothing was too much for them. Would absolutely recommend

The only minor thing was that the heating had not been put on in the bedroom so it was quite cold when we arrived. It did warm up fairly quickly once we put the heating on. But I would like to stress that this wasn't a big issue.

The staff were very friendly and approachable, nothing was too much trouble Our room was just right. It was airconditioned. A decent size with a nice big comfortable bed and pillows. There was a safe in the wardrobe. The bathroom, again, a nice size with plenty of space with a big walk in shower.. There are top of the range 'Bramley' shower gel, shampoo and moisturizer, and 2 dressing gowns supplied, There is a fridge with tea, coffee free bottled water and two Tunnock cakes. There is, for a charge. beer, wine and chocolates. The room is very quiet at night. The car park is a very good size and is secure with an electronic gate to the left of the hotel, which is accessed via an intercom,

The buffet breakfast was OK, But wasn't very organized. With all the items spread over the bar. The toaster was on its last legs. It took an age to toast the bread. I think if more than two people was waiting for toast I wouldn't bother. There was not enough space on the top where the toaster was placed, what with the bread, and the butter, jam, marmalade in separate dishes taking up all the space. It is a nice hotel. I hope my review doesn't people off. It is worth a try.

It had the wow factor as it was quirky and unique. Lots of small touches to make them stand out but they were subtle and not boastful. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I got lost trying to find it and a lovely lady helped guide me to the hotel and stood outside to show me where the car park was. I was arriving late and really appreciated her kindness. The room was lovely. Had everything that was needed and more. Bathroom was super.

It’s a bit pricey for my work expenses. That’s the only thing really. I’d love to make this a monthly stay as we have just opened a new head office close by but it’s out of the companies price range.

We had a great stay - the room was stylish, spacious and very clean. The hotel overall had a real charm and a rustic aesthetic which appealed. The communal area offered a relaxed ambience which was very inviting after a day touring Winchester and Southampton. Extremely friendly and accommodating staff. Can't fault our stay and would definitely visit again!

The location, the history of the building, the warmth from the decor and the amazing on- site restaurant. We stayed 3 nights before a cruise and one night on our return and every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. we highly recommend staying at the Pig in the Wall!

Lovely big and beautifully decorated room. Cute complimentary snacks and well-stocked minibar and paid snack options. Restaurant had excellent dinner options. Accommodating and helpful staff. Good secure parking area.

Breakfast a little disappointing as the pastries ran out early. Staff were willing to put more in the oven but this would have taken 30 minutes. Parking is not free for hotel guests and comes at a daily charge.
