The use of the pool/spa facilities is great! The hotel bars are also lovely. The staff are very friendly, approachable and always happy to help. The bathroom in the room was nice with a full walk-in shower and separate bath. The rooms are large with lots of storage space.

The air conditioning was not working at the time of our stay and I wasn't pre-warned although I was offered a fan at reception. The bed could have been a lot better, you could feel all the springs from the mattress and the double bed was 2 singles pushed together so a gap was always appearing in the middle. The room was clean although extremely dusty on all surfaces.

The staff were very helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. It was extremely handy having someone on reception 24/7, especially when we needed to check-in at 1am after getting back from a wedding. The room was very spacious and clean, and the bed was so comfy. Breakfast arrived quickly and it was delicious. It was a shame we didn’t have time to use the spa because it looked great! I think the price was fantastic for what’s included. Very happy customers! Would definitely stay again.

Our only complaint was the WiFi wasn’t very good, but it wasn’t that much of a bother! Everything else was great.

* Spacious rooms and a vibe of generous amenities * Amazing location; like going on retreat * Good crowd of other visitors and guests * Great facilities, like the spa and gym * Certain members of staff are top-notch on-the-ball helpful operators, like the French expat receptionist who I met during my stay and helped enormously with room temperature control

* Was disappointed to be given an obscure, rear-, bins-facing room, even though I am a regular returning patron. * The AC system isn't able to warm the rooms well, but - positively -, staff will offer you a plug-in heater to remedy. * Although most of the staff members are 100%, a few just shouldn't be working in hospitality:- will never forget a senior member of staff not knowing what a cappuccino was or how to make one, while manning the café bar! * Although upgrades like lockers have been commissioned in recent years, parts of the estate (like the sauna benches) are past the point of comfort and need essential maintenance, and so the spa experience, for e.g., is sadly starting to feel a tad tatty.

This was the 2nd time we have stayed at the hotel and we really enjoyed our stay again. The bedrooms are spacious and a really good size bathroom with bath and shower. The bar and restraunt areas are pleasant and relaxed areas to eat. The breakfast room is very nice overlooking the countryside. I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again, comfy bed, good breakfast and friendly staff.

Breakfast was good with different options but it would have been nice to have some fresh fruit on the breakfast buffet. The swimming pool and spa facilities could do with some updating. Panels on the sauna were starting to come loose and the swimming pool area could with a fresh paint.

The rooms are always comfortable at the Oxfordshire, but see below. It's great to be able to use the pool, sauna. steam room and jacuzzi. The staff are always friendly and accommodating. It is a very handy venue for any events in Thame which is why we use it a lot.

For some months now the central heating / air conditioning has not been working. However the hotel will provide heaters/fans and extra bedding if needed.

The views were gorgeous and the location is great for local sights! The bedrooms were great - spacious, clean and with pleasant furnishings and very comfortable beds. The breakfast was yummy and very reasonable. All of the staff we encountered were super friendly and very helpful- the kind gentleman at reception even provided me with a toothbrush as I had forgotten to pick one. All great! Would recommend to others and will stay again!

The Room was comfortable and clean, the heating didn’t seem to work, although it didn’t impact our 1 night stay as we sleep in a cool room at home. The bed was comfortable with lovely comfy bedding The bathroom was very nice with separate bath and walk in shower Breakfast was excellent, the buffet had a smaller than expected choice but my scrambled eggs( fresh) and smoked salmon and my husbands full English were excellent.

The balcony of our room 122 overlooked a rather unprepossessing service area and the heating didn’t seem to work

- Spa facilities were fantastic - Food was tasty - Bedrooms were spacious with a lovely balcony - The grounds and views were lovely

- Food was expensive for the portion size - Very small portions particularly the Panna Cotta desert - Bed was very hard and uncomfortable - There was a whistling sound most of the night causing disturbed sleep. Took us a long while to realise it was coming from bathroom and we had to keep the bathroom door shut to reduce the noise

Excellent staff. Staff in the restaurant really friendly and helpful

For the price, no robes if you wanted one you had to go downstairs to the Spa and they didn’t have any available. No water in the room
