Stayed over christmas , i can not fault in anyway whatsoever. If i could give 10 stars i would went as a family break. The location is perfect ; your not far from a dog friendly little pub. The owner is fantastic always happy to answer any questions very polite and willing to do his best to make your sure your stay is as comfortable as possible. Lodge that we stayed in was the kingfisher. Absaloutly beautiful right round the corner out the way which was perfect as we have a nearly 3 year old , right in front of the fishing lake my partners a keen fisher so was perfect for him ( caught 4 good size carp and few roach) . Hot tub was fantastic . My dog also loved it as its pet friendly - beautiful wildlife birds etc and not to mention your just down the lane from a stables filled with beautiful horses . 10/10 will defo be booking again soon.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at The Chiltern Lodges, a hidden gem nestled in the picturesque countryside. The lodge itself was comfortable and charming, from the cosy living spaces to the well equipped kitchen. Gary and his team were exceptional, providing a warm and friendly welcome from the moment we arrived and and welcoming our two dogs. The welcome pack had lots of information and recommendations which made our exploration of the countryside even more enjoyable. The lodge's hot tub and sauna were the epitome of relaxation. After a day of exploring the stunning surroundings , sinking into the bubbling hot tub was a sheer delight. surrounded by the tranquillity of nature, we soaked away our cares, enjoying the therapeutic benefits. The sauna provided the perfect opportunity to unwind and detoxify, leaving us feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. I would highly recommend, a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Amazing, peaceful resting place. Beautiful scenery and amazing red kites flying over the pool. All accommodation was very clean. You can tell the lodge is loved and cared for by the presentation. The stay was most enjoyable and just what we needed.

If I had to pick something, and I am trying to find something, it would be the electric hob. Found this very difficult to control the temperature when cooking but that is if I had to find something.

Impeccably clean. Great blend or very modern tech with a rustic feel of the lodge. the owners have obviously put a lot of thought into it because there is everything you could need at the lodge. A lot of attention to detail throughout. hot tub, is brilliant and whilst in the open nice and private. the sauna was a lovely tough. Every piece of television available to you, Netflix, Disney, amazon, sky etc. lovely lighting around the bath for a relaxing bath night. the welcome book was fantastic. loads and loads of information about everything in the lodge and nearby.

Fantastic accommodation in a wonderful complex, very comfortable and clean. Always a wonderful place to stay and has never failed to give us a fantastic experience no matter the time of year.

Great location and excellent facilities, a detailed guide and information on how to use everything with things to see and do, places to eat, local walks etc for the area is provided along with great communication from owner(s), staff very welcoming, they havent missed a thing. A relaxing and pleasent stay.

A beautiful property with a superb level of spec. I really liked the central heating app, though it did rebooting and the sauna was a really nice touch.

the shower needs a soap/potion shelf.

The hot tub and sauna were fab, and the location was beautiful. We were lucky with the weather but even if it hadn’t been so warm, we would have had a fantastic time!

The blind in the bedroom let a little too much light in - blackouts would be better!

Wonderful location, waking up to the chiltern hills (and a fabulous walk) clean property with everything and more thought of.
