We had a lovely stay at the Gower Hotel and are amazed that we hadn't discovered it before now. Very comfortable bed and nice to have a full size cosy blanket on the bed. The duvet was a decent size and pillows were supportive. We had a lovely dinner in the restaurant on the Sunday night and breakfasts were very good. My husband rated the Welsh breakfast with cockles and laverbread.

Breakfast was limited to a hot meal OR continental with cereal, yoghurts, fruit etc. In other hotels that we have stayed in, cereal, yoghurt and fruit is available to all guests. Lighting in the garden and driveway needs to be brighter at night, even if it's just on motion sensors.

The Dinner menu was exceptional. Many beautiful dishes to choose from and each one prepared by their resident chef using only fresh ingredients. Had three separate dinners during our 3 night stay and each one was amazing. All the staff were amazing - especially Mollie. Thank you Mollie for looking after us so well.

The owner of the hotel tried to charge us an extra £10.00 per dinner on two of our dinners as the hotel had made a mistake on the dinner menu that we chose from, failing to specify that one of the options would incur a £10 surcharge. Very disappointed that the owner of the hotel tried to recover, from their guests, the cost of their own mistake. She was happy enough to remove this charge when I queried it, but she should never have even tried.

Clean comfortable rooms, huge bed and lovely robes. Very comfortable stay. Staff very friendly and helpful.

This isn’t about the hotel more Monroes Restaurant attached to the hotel. On paper it should be nice food but it was distinctly average and really overpriced for what it was. You’re forced into a set menu which for two courses each and one drink was £75 for two people. We could have driven 10 mins away to somewhere else but thought we’d give it a go and we’d had a long day in the car. I don’t recommend it at all. Really average food. Breakfast was similar. Poor quality products and just not tasty - felt like the pastries were shop bought and re heated. Lovely waiters just not worth the money at all!

We booked a dog friendly room and we were not disappointed. The room was quite spacious plenty big enough for us and our dog. Breakfast was great and nothing was too much trouble for the staff who looked after us. We had an evening meal in the hotel on our first night and again the food was superb.

We arrived slightly early at 2.45pm and were advised that we could not check in until 3.00pm. We were told we got get a drink and somebody would come to find us at 3.00pm. At 3.30pm we were still waiting so I went to find someone so that we could check in. A bit disappointing as there was plenty of staff milling around doing very little.

we as a family have been to many a hotel but have never received the service like we did at the tower hotel! staff are all extremely friendly, helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. we had little hiccup as we ended up having to change plans and bring our little boy along with us at the last minute, the staff made us feel stress free and very welcome, even gave my son games to play with wile sitting on the patio. the accommodation itself was very clean, I’d go as far to say the bed was comfier then my own at home! food was beautiful also. I’d like some recognition given the the two lady’s mainly front of house/ hotel reception (one blonde lady and the other had reddish brown hair think she said she had been to Greece or Cyprus the previous week) you were both amazing and my little boy was upset to leave and wants to come back. Thankyou

there is nothing we as a family didn’t like

The staff were all lovely, everything was clean and comfortable and there was plenty of space for two dogs in the room. The restaurant is really good with an excellent menu, and there's plenty of choice for breakfast (including sausages for the dogs!). I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again.

The shower. The head is fixed and so one must stand under it while adjusting the temperature from freezing to boiling before finding something in between! Also, the door didn't close fully so water leaked out all over the bathroom floor. I had a bath instead, which was fine.

The food was excellent , the staff really lovely, the hotel has avpretty setting and a perfect base for visiting The beautiful Gower Coast. We had a lovely relaxing time and would use the hotel again if we were in the area.

Room with a Bath was the name of room and it was large but overcrowded with furniture so we had to squeeze through gaps to move around the room We could hear the music from the bar from 8am until 10.30pm . Finally the coffee really didn't live up to the quality of the food and drink on offer . Just small niggles really though

Room was very nice, all staff were friendly, nice garden and seating area. Quiet and relaxing location

Food in restaurant wasn't a very high standard and oddly almost everything came with either mushrooms or "crushed potatoes and spinach" so much so that was surprised not to see either in the desert menu. Also the guest WiFi was down the whole of our stay, which was very annoying, as there is zero phone signal and we needed to contact people. We asked if we could use the staff network which appeared to be working, but unfortunately no one could help us connect.

Helpful friendly staff. Beautiful rooms clean and fresh with added touches of boutiqueness. Excellent WiFi signal and free car parking. Leave the car behind to travel by bike, walk or catch the local buses into the villages or city centre. The evening meal was so divine and delicious. The breakfast in the morning was freshly prepared with various options to suit individuals tastes. Peaceful and relaxing location. Close to the stunning beaches and vibrant city centre of Swansea.

That couldn't stay longer.

The Staff couldn't do enough for us. Carried our bags up to the room. We had the room with a bath - which had an emperor size bed and a roll top bath centre stage, a nice large bathroom with a big shower with plenty of pressure. Great selection for breakfast from full to vegetarian options. Over the 2 days we had full, continental, omelet and eggs benedict all cooked very nice indeed. We had dinner in Monroe's restaurant both evenings. The fillet steak was one of the nicest iv'e had anywhere.
