Easy to find clean and tidy. V Quiet location mostly. Separate house for overnight rooms from the golfing building. Good sized room and facilities for 2 people for one night. We were off sight seeing so just slept zzz Absolutely fab breakfast and choice and service. Quiet and clean and well decorated and designed dining space, relaxed with golf view. Totally delicious pancakes and eggs Royale . totally yummy . I did book because of location and a free breakfast/breakfast included and was not disappointed . Plenty of parking . Lovely soft bed. All xtra bits kettle, heater, blankets if needed

Unclear where to get keys/how to check in. Had to ask then Up 2 flights of stairs and ask behind the bar!!. Hairs in the shower. Noisy from the back in the morning where our windows were. golf buggies racing in and out of car park . I was awake but they could slow down a bit maybe.

In a lovely location at the top of a hill by the golf course. The breakfast choice was super and in a lovely restaurant overlooking the golf course. We also found 2 reasonably priced restaurants; the Woodman near the shore down the road and the Verdi in Oystermouth which has a superb view of Swansea bay. The room was nicely furnished and with a good wardrobe with plenty coathangers and shelves and hooks on the back of doors to hang things and comfortable beds. Also down the road is Clyne Garden, a lovely place to walk around.

There was no side-opening window, only opening high up at the top. The room was rather small, but that did not matter due to ample places to put clothes and our suitcases went on top of the wardrobe.

Comfortable room, with a good selection of tea/coffee making facilities. Ensuite shower room was fine for the couple of days of our stay. Quiet location even though it is part of the golf club, was in a rural area, complete with cattle grid! Good parking facilities. Excellent breakfast choices, we didn't have lunch or dinner, but the restaurant was spacious and comfortable, with splendid views of the golf course.

Our room was located on the 2nd (top) floor, so in the absence of a lift, luggage has to be taken by hand.(This might prove to be an issue for less mobile guests). The reception function is located in the bar of the club house which is in an adjacent building.

Location was easy to find on Google maps and plenty of parking spaces. We had a loft room so windows were on the A frame without a view but lots of natural light in the room. A kettle for tea/coffee, biscuits and hair dryer were provided in the room. Beautiful view of the golf course from the breakfast lounge. Super delicious and freshly cooked breakfast with vegetarian and vegan options. Friendly staff who gave us plenty of tips on nearby things to see and do. Thank you!!

Breakfasts were excellent with very polite staff serving. The restaurant was smart and homely in appearance. The bedroom was clean and tidy along with the bathroom. All the staff were courteous and helpful Enough car parking spaces for guests and golfers near the accommodation wing

Nothing at all - wish I had found this accommodation a long time ago, One minor issue the drive way has numerous pot holes, some quite deep. Careful driving is a must to avoid the deep ones

Excellent breakfast choices in the clubhouse with strong coffee a plus! Great host. Room clean., warm & comfortable, good shower & reading lights. Free parking a bonus! Lovely views on a clear day. Will return as good value for money all round.

Signage on arrival! A small sign directed upstairs although once inside no idea where to go to check in. Only because I have been to a few functions in the Golf Club that I knew where to go to the bar to ask where to check in. Simple process after that although could be improved.

The room was lovely. Somerfield Lodge is located at Clyne Golf Club. Very quite and relaxing. Our room had views across the Golf course. As a guest you have access to all the golf club facilities...... Lounge Bar. Games Room Bar with views all across the Mumbles and Swansea Bay. Full dining facilities. We had bed and breakfast. The Breakfast was very good. As were all the other meals we had in the Lounge Bar. Nothing was too much trouble or at the wrong time for the chef there. My kind of food. Nothing too fancy, just good honest fair.

Not too easy too find. Best to look for/or ask for 'The Clyne Golf Club'. Rather than 'Somerfield Lodge'..... Still it's a secret worth keeping.

Our stay was wonderful. The bedroom had everything you need . The breakfast was the best cooked one that I have ever had. The quality of the food was exceptionally good and complemented well with the chef's cooking. I would even visit without a stay whenever we are in Swansea just for the breakfast!

A lovey clean room, with modernly appointed en suite and views over the Clyne Golf Course. The Lodge is very close to the Mumbles and convenient for exploring the Gower Peninsula. An excellent breakfast is included and provided in the Clyne Golf Clubhouse immediately next door to the Lodge. Evening meals are also available in the Clubhouse up to 8.0pm and although it is a limited menu there are things for everyone. We had freshly battered Haddock in a tempura style batter, chips and peas and it was excellent and great value.

The location is absolutely beautiful. Take time to walk up to the top of the golf course and take in the stunning views of Swansea Bay. The staff were lovely. The Welsh breakfast was fantastic and exceeded my expectations. The chef was a really nice guy and took the time to tell us about some of the local area. We would definitely stay here again.
