The room was very clean and spacious for a solo traveler. Shower facility had instant hot water. Bed was very comfortable. There was a desk to work from if needed and good coffee / tea making facilities. I did not have any breakfast but was offered it. The location while not central to the town had a couple of pubs within walking distance for meals. Overall it was a very comfortable and pleasant stay. I would definitely use it again if I was in the area.

There was nothing I did not like. Maybe a small mini fridge could be put in?

Our host was friendly and helpful, making a tasty and generous full English breakfast for us every morning, which we greatly appreciated. He readily supplied us with whatever we needed. Good location near the highway to explore the sights in the area, including the Cotswolds, Bath, Oxford, Stonehenge, etc. The room was basic but comfortable and spotlessly clean. In the common dining room, a fridge and a microwave were available for use at any time.

We liked everything

The house is so clean, the bedrooms perfectly made up, the bathrooms small but perfectly adequate and so clean - including all the grouting and sealant. Adam was ready for my breakfast - well cooked and hotter than a standard hotel buffet breakfast. Free parking, triple glazing at the front but the road is quiet overnight. Great great value.

It’s a trek from the centre of town but you can leave your car on site and travel by bus (every 30 mins). Handy for the bypass though and opposite the rat trap PH for a pint and a meal.

I am a regular Worldwide user of hotels and serviced accommodation through Booking.com and this location was one of the very best. Excellent room (en suite) free parking right outside the property, free high speed internet and an excellent breakfast to boot. DO NOT waste your money on a hotel chain if you are staying in Swindon as this has everything you need (at an extremely competitive price) I will be using this place again on future business in the area.

For the first time, in a long time, I literally cannot find anything to complain about. Keep up the good work!

Room design and decoration had obviously had a lot of care/money spent on it - things like USB plugs were nice, good layout on both bedroom and bathroom (you need to prevent the toilet roll holder banging on the radiator or that will damage). Bath didn't have a proper plug which seemed odd and the glass shower screen was sticky (I think on reflection this might have been unremoved cleaning spray) but overall I was impressed by the standards and the breakfast was good to. Foodwise I had a horrible Thai green curry at the Rat trap pub which I sent back (does seem to have a good local reputation so maybe I was just unlucky), but I eventually ate at the White Hart around a mile away, and they made a lot of effort to make my dinner special (thanks guys).

Parking is tight in the front garden but on-premise so free. I could see this being an issue with more guests or larger cars. Bit of road noise here from the busy road outside but I slept fairly well. Maybe thicker curtains at the front to keep the morning sun and road noise out more?

Very clean room, friendly host, great location to where I worked. TV had a hdmi port.

I couldn't make breakfast due to what time I started work but was offered a bacon sandwich and coffee which was excellent! Although would have liked the option for a reduced rate on the room because of no breakfast or a more substantial breakfast for takeaway.

This used to be a family home, and the whole house has been given over to B&B. It is a recent conversion having opened in June last year. It is extremely clean and still has a new feel. It is close to a couple of pubs (200 yards either way) - I ate in the Rat Trap (Arkells) and was not disappointed. Bed was comfy (firm), bathroom (good shower, no bath), spotless. TV in the room plus coffee/tea making facilities. Storage space for clothes, bags. I stayed here because I was visiting the Cotswold Water Park over the weekend which is just up the road - very handy. Off street parking too.

Nothing.

Clean, quiet, convenient for my travels each day and the host catered for my needs as I would leave before breakfast was served every day… Oh, I almost forgot, probably one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in…

Would be nice to have a small fridge in the room, otherwise no issues…

Orchard House is an exceptional Bed and Breakfast in every respect, and Adam is a very welcoming , and friendly Host. 'No stone' has been left unturned in the planning and thinking in converting this house into this Bed and Breakfast Facility. Talking with Adam before departing , I understood that all the work was carried out by his Father, and I have to say it will be very hard to find a better product in this sector. Every available space in the room has been maximised to provide the guest with every need and maximum space , eg. built in bedside tables and storage space, along with vertical, flat slimline radiators. En suite maybe smallish, but again, thought given to practicalities with walk in shower , with sliding doors. Good lighting, always hot water. Multi purpose desk facility with good variety of hot drinks tray too.. All very clean and comfortable. The 'key system' for this type of facility is also exceptional , in it's key size and operation - fob contact with door handle to open guest room , and a simple code to enter the front door, so always 24 hour access. I am not a breakfast taker, but full breakfast included, and I am sure this too would have met the high standards of the rooms also. Orchard House just located off the A419 ( about 10 minutes), so no need to travel through Swindon Centre , either. A must stay when in this area.

No negatives.

The host was very amenable and helpful with my requests. The room was very nice and clean, the bed was excellent and very comfortable. The property was in an ideal location for my visit. Adam was kind enough to prepare me an early breakfast which was very nice. Would definitely stay again.

The parking is a little on the tight side if the property was full and more cars needed to be parked.
