The hotel is in the perfect location for what we needed, it is close to the bus/coach station and train station (though the roadworks mean the route is not as accessible as it once was). The rooms were a good size, clean and bright. The foyer and restaurant area looks really chic and welcoming. Staff were all polite and friendly, the atmosphere was relaxed. Great price!

The bath was leaking from the base - we only realised on our final day that the water was not splashing from the shower but that there was a leak that was pooling on the floor. The bathroom didn’t have anywhere to put your clothes when you were showering. A small shelf would be useful, or some kind of airer. The leaking bath was likely what caused the old water/damp smell we had.

The room was clean and spacious enough. The breakfast was quite good, with a variety of foods to choose from. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and more importantly, the breakfast facilities were adequate. You didn't have to wait in the queue to be attended to.

The road construction work going on in front of the hotel was a little annoying as it obstructed traffic and prevented taxis from making a quick pick up from the hotel, but you wouldn't blame the hotel management for that.

it was a good location for us to get around to see different family and friends around Swindon which is the whole point of the trip. We had our 4 month old daughter with us and they put us in a very spacious room with a travel cot and an extra twin bed next to our double. It made our stay that much more convenient and definitely will be going back to stay again.

There’s a lot of construction around at the minute which makes it harder to get to the center or the bus station especially at night. It’s know fault of the property but good to know.

Good reception staff. Lifts were good and bed was comfortable. Room had a bath. Had room service. Very nice comfortable and convenient stay.

Not enough parking - nowhere to park. I need accessible parking and although there was a few spaces they were all full with only one vehicle displaying a blue badge. No other spaces in the car park so had to park on double yellows away from the hotel which was not accessible

The room was spacious enough for the 2 of us. It was clean upon arrival and the bathroom more than adequate, it also had a decent size TV and a large window making the room nice and bright. The reception staff were also friendly when we booked in and out. Car parking for £6 was also convenient and easy to sort out.

The only thing and it really wasn't a big deal was the hotel is next to a main road, something we're not used to at home. Not a deal breaker though or a complaint in any way and would happily stay here again.

Breakfast was good. Room was fine. Bed was comfortable.

Shower over bath could be improved. The road works caused us problems when we first arrived with the sat-nav trying to get us down the closed off section. We found that this was because of the postcode that is given in the hotel's address. Changing it to that of the Travelodge, next door, allowed the sat-nav to get us to the hotel every time. Since the road works are going on for some time then this should be pointed out to guests.

Clean and tidy. Very comfortable bed and different pillows to choose from which can always be a deal breaker when trying to get a good nights sleep. I was also given complimentary parking although not sure why. Friendly staff. Breakfast was good in the morning.

Cracked tiles in the bathroom, but this is only a very minor issue. Evening meal was overpriced. A simple burger and fries at £15 felt a little too much. This was about the cheapest meal available.

The room was quite big, and the hotel staff had provided an extra bed and a child cot on our request. Room was pretty clean, and had all the amenities that were expected. The restaurant was good as well - breakfast that was included was worth the additional money spent. Staff was quite polite and helpful. Check-in and check-out process was smooth and quick too.

Location, though town center looked so run-down. Nice clean hotel.

Unfriendly staff esp at Reception, they also seemed clueless when I asked how the points system worked, and a phone number. I was asked to 'google' the numb; then sensing my frustration one of the Reception staff made an attempt to ask another colleague, who seemed more helpful. Will def not be staying at this hotel any time soon! Croydon one is much better.

Didn’t enjoy eating my dinner in the bar area, we where in the executive room and the bathroom was not good, tired, tatty wood work needed a lot of attention, unable to regulate air con effectively, bath to high to step in if you where mildly disabled like my self, ie new knee,
