the room was great we stayed previously in that room. We used this as a base and didn't spend a lot of time in the room so it was everything we needed and right in the heart of Wroughton. Breakfast was the only meal we ate in the Hotel. First day it was excellent after this it was okay (sausage a little under-cooked for my liking I could have mentioned it, and I'm sure that would have been rectified, but we were in a hurry). The staff were excellent throughout, all of them but special mention to Holly (I'm sure that was her name) who was very friendly and welcoming on our arrival. Nothing was any trouble to her. We will stay again.

We had one night at the White Hart after a trip to Cirencester Xmas market. It was fantastic. Clean , comfortable rooms with fresh coffee , tea bags, biscuits and hot chocolate. Plenty of white fluffy towels and lovely shower gel etc in bathroom. We had an evening meal in the pub, which has a lovely cosy atmosphere and young, helpful staff. The food was fabulous too- couldn't fault it. The breakfast was even better, with loads of tasty choices- even French toast with bacon and maple syrup. I wouldn't hesitate to stay gain. Absolute value for money.

We waited a long time for our evening meal ...obviously a problem in kitchen but food was well worth waiting for.

The breakfast was exceptional, really well presented and good quality. The staff were helpful and efficient at check in and check out and the guy on duty for breakfast was friendly, patient and accommodating for all our requests to mix and match the menu items. The restaurant is cosy and welcoming and it was a shame we weren't there to try dinner! A good spacious car park.

Our room (number one) smelled stale. The bathroom could benefit from a refurb. Near the accommodation block, there was a dumped broken table that could easily be removed and perhaps a few planters there would brighten up an otherwise shabby, unused corner.

The rooms were spacious and full of comforts, including scrumptious chocolate powder!!! Breakfast was included in the price, varied, and really high-quality (including a vegetable option for English breakfast). The price was incredibly good and the location was really convenient (at just 10 minutes from Avebury stone circle). We also had dinner at the pub, which was also delicious!!!! The exterior was beautiful too!!!! Warmly recommended

As a constructive criticism, the shower was a bit slippery and would have benefited from a security handle and a non-slip shower mat. Otherwise, everything was just great!!! Our kids' shower did not have those issues either (we had room six).

All staff gave excellent service. Friendly atmosphere in bar from staff and locals. Food delicious - both breakfast and dinner. Loyalty club offered discounted food on Wednesday. Clean and comfortable bed.

Property was rather tired and could use some tlc. Walk-in shower and toilet in ensuite could use better deep cleaning. I booked a groundfloor room as I find stairs a problem. I confirmed that the shower was a walk-in but would have felt safer if the cubicle had a hand safety rail, also floor became slippy when wet - not sure if non slip mats were available on request.

Beautiful property with an ideal location for exploring nearby areas. Free car parking (just need to enter reg every 24hrs). Food was yummy! Really helpful lights which automatically come on at night if you are walking to rooms or from rooms to car park. Beds are huge and super comfy. Breakfast was included, good choice and nice amount. Free Wi-Fi available. Lots of lovely products provided in the room - shampoo, conditioner, soap and cream.

Toilets in bar area could have been nicer and some tables hadn’t been cleaned well enough.

What a find! Only 5 miles from Swindon but another world. A lovely thatched pub with rooms. The staff were excellent and everyone helped to make the stay special. The quality of the food served was excellent and very reasonably priced. I was upgraded at no extra cost to a superior room with balcony, very spacious and comfortable and on the hottest day of the year the room was cool and it was very relaxing sitting out on the balcony . Very quiet at night ,I slept well on the large comfortable bed .

Leaving ,I felt relaxed and ready to face another busy day!

The pub has just undergone a change in management so the website was no longer active and menus had just changed. However it was still a nice room. The place was very dog friendly and we could take her to dinner and breakfast in the pub. The breakfast menu was more extensive than the dinner menu and overall the room was good value for money.

It was a bit confusing coming at a time when the pub was changing hands but they did seem to keep everything running. The dinner menu was perhaps a bit shorter than usual because of this.

Attractive, well-appointed room. Great breakfast choice.

Sleep was disrupted by the continuous flashing of a bright green light on the ceiling. It was impossible to sleep facing the doorway as this light lit up the whole "entrance" area. It may well be a safety light but being so bright and illuminating half the ceiling is not good. Regarding cleanliness, it was very good except the toilet basic was very stained and there was rather a lot of mould around the shower - minor points, but should be noted.

As on a number of times we have stayed at The White Hart in the past everything was good.

The only thing that surprised us was that we found out by accident that it closed at 9pm on the Sunday evening. We had handed in our key after checking in and went to spend the day with friends locally but had no idea that it closed so early. It was not something as guests we thought about checking. So that came as a shock but thankfully a phonecall at 9.15pm enabled us to get access back to our room. Other than that everything was great as it usually is.
