Beautiful property, the team are wonderful and I was greeted as soon as I go there and asked if I needed help with my bags. I was also asked if I wanted fresh milk for my room - great touch. Check in was swift, there was a teeny issue with the room which was sorted immediately but the kind team member I spoke to (sorry I did not get the persons name - we discussed the Pea Hummus and feta at dinner) and it was a very nice stay. Food for dinner was superb, hot, fresh and homemade, came out quick and service was fab. Breakfast was amazing, service was lightning quick, food was hot and really tasty. I had the veggie breakfast - I am not a veggie, it was amazing. Will definitely come back if I am in the area again.

Rooms are located to the rear of the pub and they are of a good size and comfortably furnished. The complimentary teas, coffee's and biscuits within the room had also been given special attention (They weren't your standard sachets of Nescafé original which I thought was a nice touch). The pub itself offers a fantastic breakfast, so much so we stayed after checking out to meet with friends for lunch and were equally impressed with the food.
The bifold doors on the ground floor room don't let in a huge amount of light due to the high level of the carpark... Though this isn't really a huge issue.

Lovely country pub on villahe high street. Interior and beer graden very comfortable. We had dinner which was tasty and well priced. Staff great especially Ollie (thanks for helping with our bikes). Rooms are in a separate annex at back of pub and away from the road which works well to reduce noise. Very modern and comfortable and good value for money.
Breakfast was a bit strange. Good choice of hot food to order including full English but no juice, cereals etc to help yourself from. Saturday night music turned a pleasant country pub into a bit of a rowdy place so we retreated to the comfort of our rooms. All minor quibbles; I'd recommend this place.

From walking in to check in, the whole place just felt so comfortable and welcoming. Check in was quick and easy and we were shown to our rooms and invited for dinner within minutes, perfect after a long journey. The rooms were a good size and tastefully decorated with some little additions, although we didn’t use them there was bottles of water, why looked to be good quality tea, coffee and hot chocolate along side possibly homemade biscuits? We ate our evening meal in the pub - just wow! we don’t eat out very often these days but when we do we aim for a good quality meal and this did not disappoint! Breakfast the following morning was equally as delicious too. We will definitely look to book here again if we are in the area!
The car park was packed when we arrived so we had to park on the road side, after dinner it had cleared and we were able to move into the car park. On speaking to the staff they have said local residents have been using it to also get off the road but they are having cameras fitted so this should improve things.

Beautiful area, very pretty pub and welcoming/friendly staff. Had a relaxing vibe to it. Beer gardens pretty. Obviously we'll liked by local folk too. Fish and chips great, as was the homemade chicken & chorizo pie/mash and veg too. Stayed over, rooms separate to pub and clean, comfortable, very quiet. Quality tea/coffee/hot chocolate sachets in room along with kettle etc. Also same goes for bathroom toiletries. A warm welcome on arrival for breakfast. Relaxed, not rushed, and it was very enjoyable too. Would have no hesitation in staying again.
Not applicable, impressed by everything

Very pretty looking pub from the outside, plentiful parking. A clean, quiet and comfy room, small-ish but adequate bathroom. Tea. coffee and bottled water in the room. Friendly staff. Good choice of cooked items for breakfast
No view from room as its set in a below-ground annexe, but its quiet. No food early Sunday evening but a Kebab shop a few minutes away provided something for the hungry traveller. Booked through Booking.com but a few too many emails from the place - express check in/express check out/ sorry you are leaving etc I thought a bit unnecessary.

Exceptional staff (who even coped with my grumpy mother) and apparently the beer was excellent. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Being given a flask of fresh milk on arrival was genius and the fresh coffee in the room, brilliant. Our visit cheered us up after a difficult day.
The bathrooms desperately need to be updated. Shower curtains should be illegal and climbing into the bath for a shower was more than octogenarian mother could cope with. The pillows weren’t great. Have you considered latex pillows? Carpets throughout accommodation need to be cleaned or replaced. Having said that, I would stay there again

Beautiful quaint pub with loads of character. Arrived on the Sunday for a 2 night stay and Sunday lunch.we arrived 1/2 hour early but were welcomed and given our reserved table early.we had an amazing Sunday roast and some lovely beer. The staff were amazing nothing too much trouble. Cassie and olly two of the staff members couldn't do enough enough to make our stay perfect, and a big thank-you to all the other staff.Highly recommend a visit will be going back to stay at some point. Rooms are really nice aswell.

Have used before. Welcoming, if a bit noisy atmosphere, - due to good music and large number of Saturday night pub goers! Clearly popular. Accommodation of excellent quality except could not work out how to control room heating! Would be quite happy to use again.
Food filling but not exotic. Breakfast OK but no toast and marmalade offered if you take the full English or other listed options. Menu card in this is misleading and compared with other venues would class it as a part breakfast eg. no cereals. Some items were cold or just warm. Single slice of toast was rock hard to the bite!

We had a fantastic time. Morris dancers arrived shortly after us, which was good fun. The food was fantastic and there were a couple singing in the evening which was fab too
There seemed to be a lack of toilet roll. Half of one in the bathroom in the room . And none in the bar toilets until later in the evening. I would also only order a full English breakfast if there was hp sauce. The breakfast was delivered and then told no brown sauce, so didn't enjoy it, I would have opted for something else had I known. Who runs out of brown sauce??? Lol
