Our room was huge. Very clean. There was a pool! Breakfast was reasonable. Grounds pretty. Bar quite nice. pool os very nice and deep and big, but Ideally some loungers in there and slightly smaller would work. There was a float in the pool room to use!

Childs bed literally was directly infront of and attached to the tv. VERY wobbly coffee table. No decaff tea in the room. But it was there when I asked. Pool, would be nice to have some loungers. Its very nice pool though. Breakfast is so expensive. I dont eat as much as the husband, yet we pay the same and I loath paying for the child to eat a bowl of cereal so we didnt do that. But would be nice to just let kids eat free. They dont eat alot. Staff could do with finding a smile. Only 1 of them was bubly and lovely. She was our dinner waitress. As much as they were nice enough, they didnt have anything more to give than that and I feel it really makes your stay when they actually want to be there doing thier job

Very clean and comfortable family room. Electric blinds on the velux windows were great for blackout to get kids settled. Loved how many sockets were in the room. Good big bathroom. My baby was unwell during our stay. They sent housekeeping up right away to change the sheets when she vomited. The breakfast was one of the nicest hotel buffet breakfasts I've had. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are in the area, and plenty nearby to do if you're looking for family activities.

Hair dryer was broken, I'm sure they would have got me a working one had I asked, but we were about to leave, so I didn't bother, not a big deal

Great place to stay . Right across road from shopping centre and park . Weather wasn't great so didn't venture further afield this time , can only mean one thing..... need to book to stay again soon 😃 . Room is spacious, lovely bar area and restaurant. Breakfast was buffet style which is great, lots of choice depending on your requirements for the morning.

It would help if there was a dedicated area in the bar where we could sit with the dog . I realise dogs are allowed in the gardens and courtyard area, which is OK in fine weather however not an option when weather is poor . When charging £20 for the dog I feel its a lot to pay for the lack of dog facilities .

Breakfast is ok, not as equipped as expected, but alright. I enjoyed our stay, great location and would recommend. It served our purpose and would stay again.

More options at breakfast. Staff attention to details very important and understanding customers, ask questions if unsure as you will be dealing with customers from various background and language, make extra effort to support customers and ensure their need and request are met, that way there won't be an issue. We encountered mis understanding at breakfast but all resolved quickly all due to staff not taking time to understand request and carry out to the fullest. Minor mistake that can be corrected.

Location from the train station was great. No need for a taxi. We had breakfast both mornings and it was substantial and filling enough. We had dinner on our 2nd night and the quality was very good as was the waiting staff.

Only thing that I found annoying was that the bar and restaurant was card only. I find that the option to not use cash a hindrance as I like to budget for treats and I find I don't keep track of my spending when having to use my bank card. If I have x amount of cash to treat myself I can see what I'm spending.

I didn’t have breakfast but there seemed to be a good choice of breakfast items on offer. I loved the lighting and decor of the room. It was bright and welcoming with pristine laundered sheets. The shower was terrific. Lovely hot water and easy to use shower controls. The toiletries were great and there was even a notice on the door saying if you’d forgotten anything then Reception would try to provide you with essential items.

The staff were really good. The lady on the bar in the evening was very understanding, we have a child with autism and she went above and beyond to ensure she was accommodated for dinner. Again at breakfast the lady welcoming was very understanding of our needs and checked in when my daughter needed to leave. Hotel were happy to add my parents for breakfast as they were not able to get a room at the hotel as it was fully booked.

It was a bit noisy this visit. Staff said there was a big boxing match on nearby.

Loved my room. Spacious and clean and check in was easy. I was very late back every night but the night staff were really friendly and nice. I felt safe. Lots of coffee and loved having an iron and board too! Bed was super comfy too.

The shower was rubbish it was very very weak. Also the TV remote was very dirty. I tried to clean it with wipes but it had lots of stuff dried into the buttons like food or something.

Did not have breakfast as I was helping out at a walking event which started at 06.30 Hrs so early morning call at 05.00 hrs very welcome. Needed the room urgently so was not getting much time to sleep. Room was warm, dry and comfortable, the bed was fantastic to rest on - have mobility issues so appreciate a good bed and the bath was so welcome at the end of a 16 hour day.

Nothing - was very grateful for the availability to make hot drinks

The hotel was clean and comfortable, the breakfast and ambience and overall service was really friendly and welcoming which was really good.

On check in we weren't asked to sign a registration card and I asked the bar lady about this because I asked if I should have given my registration for my car she said I should have and bought a form over to fill in and if I hadn't have mentioned this i would have been fined for using the car park. The gym equipment is old and could do with replacing 2 of the treadmills were out of service and the bike wouldn't turn on. I did some weights instead.
