Very nice pub/hotel with comfortable accommodation and well appointed room. Reasonably priced food and drinks, both dinner and breakfast were good albeit a little basic - good value for money though. Staff very pleasant, helpful and welcoming. I would definitely stay again.

Unfortunately although the room was very good, the shower didn't work properly and I couldn't get the water to go below scalding hot so could not take a shower. I mentioned this to staff during breakfast and was told that this often happened to the shower in that room and that the landlord could fix it in a couple of minutes as it was just a question of adjusting a button on the heat control - and I could go back in and shower if I wanted. Unfortunately I was fully packed and ready to leave by then so did not have time - but if the fault happens regularly and is an easy fix, then why not have it fixed properly so it didn't happen again?

The White Horse Tavern is only about ten minutes from Telford International Centre, which is where we were for the weekend. It is spotlessly clean, quiet, and comfortable. The staff are incredibly friendly, polite and helpful, nothing was too much effort for them. The food is basic "pub grub", but really tasty and served quickly and hot (I hate being given a lukewarm meal, which happens far too often!) I would not hesitate to recommend the White Horse Tavern to anyone looking for good food, clean facilities, fabulous staff, and excellent value for money. I would definitely stay there again.

I recommend staying here instead of choosing other hotels. Very good English breakfast, affordable price, nice and friendly service. My room was very comfortable, clean and the heating worked. I found everything what I needed for 2 overnights: clean towels, bed linen, cosmetics, hair dryer as in the booking description. The location to Telford city center was convienient and I was able to order a taxi in a reasonable price. If you are a horse lover, you will love it. I travel a lot for business reasons and visit many hotels. It is not luxary place, but in my opinion in good standard and with very good service.

Smell from the kitchen on the corridors and close to main entrance. Using some aroma diffusers would be a good solution.

The staff were very friendly, welcoming and attentive. It met our needs brilliantly. Travelling as a family of 3, nan, mum and daughter each having our own room/space was perfect. Parking on site was very handy. Facilities were great too.

One slight issue was notice. Our room ground floor D was next to someone who was very loud and up talking until late hours. My daughter had an important event the next day, which she needed a good night's rest for, but sadly this was difficult with the noise. In the end we used earplugs to dull the noise but could still be heard. So better sound proofing would be beneficial.

Room was comfortable although bed a little on small size and we had issues with our shower where we could not use it due to water scorching hot. When reporting the problem the manager was very plesant and helpful and offered to fix straight away so we could use it but we declined as wanted to get off. Breakfast was marvellous and the lady serving was very attentive and polite, she could not do enough for us. White Horse was an ideal location for us and no issues with noise from traffice or anything else. Floor boards a little creaky on the landing but added to the charachter of the old property. A plesant stay had by all of us.

Just shower issue and the light in the bedroom (12) was a little dim.

Hotel was clean and comfortable. Hosts were extremely welcoming and friendly. Dinner menu was basic pub food, very reasonably priced and enjoyable. Breakfast was delicious . Our room was very clean and the beds very comfortable. Well stocked with tea, coffee and milk. Nice bathroom with a good shower. This is a typical village pub, which was just what we wanted.

Can't think of anything. Everywhere was well signposted apart from the signage to the bedroom(')s. I don't understand why apostrophes are added to what is a simple plural. But that's just me and my particular gripe. Nothing to complain about.

The staff were absolutely amazing they always have a smile and we’re super helpful I will defo be returning when coming to Telford the value for money was amazing and I nightly recommend this place it’s not the ritz but they go above and beyond for guests and for the value it was superb 🏆🏆

Only things I didn’t like was the guy snoring his head off next door but not hotels fault obviously he could move the floors this guy wow And also pub opposite the road could hear the odd noise but to be expected overall I can’t fault this place and will be recommending to people I travel with in future on visiting Telford 🏆🏆🏆

Breakfast was lovely. Can't really fault it... though.... the German couple sat a few tables up wanted yoghurt with their cereal, and the host told them even so nicely that he didn't do yoghurt... but the thing was... right opposite the hotel is a Premier convenience store. If it was me... I would have popped over for a couple of pots of yoghurt to please my guests!! There were only the 2 tables being served... so it's not like he was busy! Happily stay again!

Of an evening, there was an aroma outside of the rooms. I assume that this came from his kitchens. It wasn't an unpleasant aroma and I couldn't smell it in my bedroom... still... it was there!

Lovely place to stay and made to feel very welcome by the owners. Huge family room with a double and single bed. Big bathroom with walk in shower and lots of hot water. Fantastic breakfast, served quickly and very hot and tasty. Stayed for dinner on our 2nd night and the mixed grill was exceptional, steak cooked to perfection and beautiful thick piece of gammon. Evening meals very reasonably priced and would have eaten there every night if we were staying longer. We will definitely return when visiting family in Telford again. 10 out of 10.

From the moment we walked through the front door at the White Horse Tavern the welcome we received from Rob & Jackie was lovely. We were shown to our room which was perfect and we were soon in the bar drinking with the locals before we set off for our night at the Telford International Centre. Everyone was so lovely that we could of easily just stayed sat at the bar with Rob, Jackie & their regulars. Amazing place.

There's honestly absolutely nothing that anyone couldn't like about the White Horse Tavern.
