Staff were really friendly, the shower door was hanging off when we arrived, I told the receptionist and it was fixed immediately by a very nice man who asked if there was anything else needed doing. We ate, that evening, in the Raja restaurant which is attached to the hotel. Food was excellent and service was good.

There were only 3 hangers in the wardrobe, one of which was broken, luckily I had brought some with me. Also the room was fairly small and dark as the window was in a corner behind the wardrobe.

Room was very comfortable. Staff were helpful and interested in ensuring our stay was as comfortable as possible. Disabled room needed a shower chair and they immediately actioned the request and provided one. Additional provision of car to ferry to venue was great. Added bonus was restaurant for evening meal.

Breakfast- boring. Two choices both could be improved. The cooked breakfast was made with low quality ingredients and little choice eg no tomatoes, mushrooms ..we understand pork items such as bacon/sausages were not possible but should have been stated rather than us wondering why items were missing. Cereals, yoghurts, fruit, choice of bread were NOT available. The cost option was advertised on Booking.com as £7 but actually that was a takeaway to eat in our room with unhealthy items, so cost for cooked breakfast was £9 something.

Clean, tidy, modern. Shower was brilliant. Staff were great. Also, right next to a great Indian restaurant and a 30 minute walk to a good pub.

Broken toilet seat (but I didn't report it), which was suprising for such a new room. Also, no eco choices (e.g. how to keep your towels and plastic disposable shower gel bottles.

Really helpful team running the hotel. They were happy to help out, change things or have a chat. The room was spotless and had a comfy bed, tea and coffee facilities and TV. The bathroom was a good size and very clean. Perfect location for visiting a number of National Trust sites and stately homes.

The room I was in was very close to reception and the restaurant which meant that there was some noise outside the room.

The room was clean, staff where very friendly too. We found the hotel to be easy to get to and the hotel had lovely food too.

The shower had a design flaw which mean we had to have a towel at the bottom at all times. it was a bit annoying to have to deal with. However a towel thats provided helps and don't let this put you off staying at the Hotel as we found it to be great value for money!

Good parking in front of room. Clean room, comfortable large bed. Fridge. Air con. Excellent shower. RK was a friendly and welcoming member of staff. Fairly quiet.

Not enough space in room. Some shelves would be useful in bathroom, which was very small and nowhere to hang towels whilst showering.

on ground floor

the car park is entirely large gravel. No good to a person in a wheelchair it made for a very hard ride and was very hard on pusher of the wheelchair. The continental breakfast wasn’t very good for the price. The bed was very high to get onto in what’s described as for disabled person use. The picture of cooked breakfast was not as received. normal sausage in picture and 2 fried eggs. what came was “hot dogs” and eggs made into an omelette? if this is due to the “faith” of the all men owners or workers then they should warn guests up front.

Location is great and easy to find, and On-site Indian restaurant did not disappoint the food was great. Did not have breakfast so can’t comment. The room upstairs in the roof is a little small and if your tall would recommend an upgrade to a larger room. Room was clean and toiletries and refreshments in the room.

The room was a little difficult to stand up along one side of the bed.

free parking. nice interior in the room and the lobby. bed was moderately comfy. our room was quite cute. room was cool without any air conditioning. free to come and go as you please. nice little outdoor area to sit. room was on the smaller side but for a short stay it is perfect. I would recommend to upgrade if you stay longer for a bigger room.

we were out in room 7 and it was right beside the lobby so it we could hear everything going on. doors are quite thin. it was quite far from amenities so a car is needed. do not take room 6/7/8

I thought the breakfast was not worth the £9.90 charged, there was no choice and it was not appetising I think the storage of the cleaning items and hoovers should be moved from the common area's so that customers do see them during their stay
