New owners so still getting some things set up as they want to, eg, restaurant not fully up and running but we're very happy for us to eat our Chinese takeaway in the restaurant area. We were travelling with out kitten to a cat show in the area and they were very accommodating, even allowing our kitten to accompany us (in his carrier) in the restaurant. We had to leave promptly in the morning for the show, and they were extra quick with our order at breakfast. It was their weekly music night, music was excellent, though a bit too loud for me! Actual pub itself was tastefully decorated, easy to find, good free car park.

The bed was a bit hard for me, but not every hotel can have the perfect bed for everyone, however my husband was complained that his side was also lumpy and uneven.

Hi i recently stayed at the bugle Hotel it was a really nice hotel, the staff were amazing and very friendly nothing was too much trouble.,the cooked breakfast was really good value for money the plate was full and i couldn't fault the food, I had a good chat with the local people in the pub they were so friendly and being on my own they made me feel very welcome, on my last night there was entertainment in the bar and we all had a good sing song the atmosphere was brilliant, i would definitely stay here again. A big thanks to all the staff.

Quiet quaint village,could park at back in carpark,or at front on street,no charges on street at night. Local Chinese few yards away or can eat at pub itself. Very friendly accomodating staff. And they accept dogs,in bar too.

Nothing. It's an old fashioned pub/ hotel,recently taken over, probably still needs some refurbishment but we were very comfy. Quite steep stairs to upstairs rooms but there is back entrance which is better. Big rooms.

I booked a hotel purely for a location near to my ancient family relatives in the county. When I saw the period building, intriguing setting and very reasonable price, the decision was easy. We were surprised by the honest and relaxed ambience our stay was comfortable and well-managed.

I was very grateful to Gavin and Natasha for making me very welcome at the hotel. I had a single room which ticked all the boxes. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. I slept like a log. I was also very happy to have on site parking.

I had no complaints

Breakfast was included and what a Breakfast it was, we were all stuffed and it was super tasty.

Rooms and bathrooms could of been a bit cleaner but I am a cleaner myself so have high standards. Nothing major just bits here and there

The location is perfect and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

No fresh coffee available at breakfast, it wasn’t overly busy and it would have been nice if this had been replenished before I had to ask.

Location in the village, the coffee on arrival, the people I met on the team, breakfast and the breakfast chef, the room was perfect for me.

I have nothing for this sad face as I am 100% satisfied

The folding bed they put up for our daughter wasn’t very comfortable

Lovely property and a beautiful village, just 10 minutes from the sea. The new owners, Gavin and Natasha were welcoming and friendly. I wish them all the best in there new adventure.
