The hotel has a lovely entrance hall. Facilities are great although not usually included on then booking.com rate! Watchout! Food was pretty good and the rooms were nice. I like the idea of the water and milk dispensers. Fridge in the room is a +1. By far the best hotel in the local area. Parking always appeared to be available.

Milk dispenser was not cleaned to a reasonable standard in my opinion. This was the case in some other areas too. It could be improved, but by no means terrible. I have stayed in a couple of rooms and the size and quality do vary so some stays have been exceptional and others a little disappointing. Booking.com rate is cheaper than booking direct but does not include access to the facilities!

The hotel was very well looked after and the staff were amazing. The atmosphere is very relaxed and I would definitely recommend to family and friends.

It’s not the actually property but I felt there should have been a choice of skimmed mile available. I am lactose intolerant and find that having no cream in my milk helps my stomach. There was a choice of almond, soya and another milk but I don’t really like those. I know you can’t cater for everyone as there wouldn’t be enough room. But having just that extra choice would have been nice. Especially in the room as I could only have the hot chocolate sachet but there was only one.

Excellent facilities, brilliant staff, ample parking. Our room was so well equipped with a number of nice little touches. Loved the grass area at the back, on a sunny afternoon is was lovely to sit out with a drink.

The dining arrangements in the restaurant were very strange. Unfortunately on one of our nights access to the rear grassed area was at the back of the restaurant and this meant there was a constant flow of people passing the dining tables. Surely a better arrangement could be sorted out? Not good value considering how much the dinner cost. Perhaps this was just a one off.

The room was a good size and comfortable for myself and my friend to stay in as a twin, we were not cramped or crowded. The room facilities were good and we loved the glass bottles to go get fresh milk and water, and the mini fridge in the room was fab, as not all hotels have that as standard.

It would have been nice to have an alternative milk option, like oat milk for the room. There was a small mix up with an order , so the afternoon tea came out before the prosecco and breakfast too a very long time for poached eggs and avo.

Staff were all excellent, super friendly and on point. Little room items like the biscuits, range of coffee/tea etc were a lovely touch, bedding towels all very nice, extras after check in are brilliant, spa and facilities also really great.

Breakfast, despite booking there was a 10 minute queue which wasn't ideal, also ordered toast with breakfast which never arrived..... overall still great though, super tasty and really great options on top of the menu items.... but some really small bits would elevate to excellent.

A really nice hotel and one I'll almost certainly visit again. The room was both spacious and comfortable and I particularly liked the shower with its push-button operation and instant hot water. The pool and associated facilities were excellent (especially the large whirlpool) and the bar provided a nice place to relax in the evenings. I can't comment on the food as my deal didn't include breakfast, but may well take up this option next time. The location is good - just a 10 minute walk up to the retail park and the woods, and a couple of minutes drive from the M27 allowing easy access to Portsmouth and Southampton and all places in between.

Be aware that, unlike other places, you need to pay for access to the spa and pool. It is only a trivial amount though (I paid £10 for two days), so not a problem, just something which seemed a little odd.

Spa facilities were great, excellent gym and studio space too. The gym was kitted out with high spec technogym equipment. Bedroom was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The shower is powerful - possibly even too powerful. Location is really well situated for exploring Portsmouth, Southampton and Winchester and there are many local surrounding pubs to explore.

Breakfast is of good quality (continental and full English options cooked to order) but slightly expensive for what it is. Spa can become quite busy at times.

Spacious room with desk and sofa, comfortable bed. Breakfast was good quality but as it's not self-service I suggest the waiting staff remind you to order toast, juice and so on, otherwise you will get exactly what you order and nothing more. We enjoyed a swim, the spa area is very nice.

There was some road noise as the area seems to be plagued by chav racers, so we had to sleep with the window closed. The kettle was broken so we were unable to make a cup of tea in the morning. I reported this to reception and they apologised.

The rooms were excellent with every facility you could wish for. Particularly liked the availability of cold filtered water and milk. Only slight niggle (and really not life changing) - no hook behind the door for a dressing gown, wet towel etc. The food was very good and the garden with its facilities also good.

A credit card was not taken from us at check in and consequently every time we tried to buy something, drinks, meal etc. we had to find a credit card when really we wanted everything put to the room (usual method with hotels) where we could then split our bill equally between our 2 rooms. The staff finding this out from the till would then pronounce loudly that "your card isn't working" making us feel that it had been rejected. Most embarrassing really. This happened to quite a number of guests who were all complaining.

The hotel was very cosy and the room was very comfortable and had everything you needed and the spa facilities were great and very clean .

The staff in the spa were very welcoming and lovely and helpful however the staff in the reception weren’t as helpful and quite rude . And the service in the restaurant was awful we waited over 40 minutes for our breakfast to arrive and when it did it was quite disappointing breakfast .
