The staff were amazing, both at the apartments and the hotel. It was great to have the option of an indoor and outdoor pool, especially for families with kids and especially when the tide was in and access to the beach was restricted; also fab to be able to hire paddle boards straight from the hotel. Wonderful setting for the kids swings too, with amazing view of the sea. We enjoyed the bar outside the hotel/apartments (good food and great view of the sea). The apartment itself was comfortable, well equipped and again offered a fab view of the sea.

The water pressure in the apartment was pretty poor unfortunately. Also, a shame to not be able to drink the local water (especially as I read about the high purity of the local water), as the cold water was always lukewarm and took ages to cool. The flat itself was not ideal for a very mobile 1yo due to the uneven levels (though would have been great for grown ups only). Also not ideal to be on the 4th floor with a small child, which I don't think was explicit at the moment of booking, but it wasn't a huge issue

Spotless, gorgeous apartment, study bedroom was soo cute, daughter loved it, views from windows were spectacular. Sofa bed comfy and master bedroom was lovely. Sophisticated décor. I've never seen such a well equipped kitchen too. Taxi into Torquay was £6-7. Swimming pool was really warm and sauna nice, quiet at 8pm on a friday night.

Only thing I can criticise (slightly) was the apartment carpet felt weird on bare feet, squeaky. Like it had a coating of furniture polish on it, left a slippery film on my feet. So I suspect it might be scotchguard or similar. Take slippers! :-)

Loved the location, we had drinks and food in the outdoor restaurant overlooking the sea, if you're fortunate to get some sun it's absolutely stunning! The gardens were very pretty. The appartment was clean, comfortable and spacious. It was a very good price for a 3 bedroom so very happy with it even though it was a little dark (being at the back and ground/lower ground). We parked the car very easily everyday after being out exploring, plenty of spaces. We used the indoor and outdoor pool, both very quiet and well maintained.

Breathtaking views, beautifully furnished, clean, and spacious apartment, great facilities, well-kept garden and pool area. Great to have kids menu at the garden bistro.

No under 18s are allowed at the gym. My 17 year old son is an athlete & regular gym goer, he was quite disappointed - I appreciate the concerns, but it’d make more sense to allow kids above 16 with parents’ supervision / get parents to sign a liability note. On the other hand, children are allowed to jump and behave in a very disruptive and dangerous way in the indoor pool, with their parents ignoring them. That’s far more dangerous than a 17 year old going into the gym.

Apartment was very nice. Nice location.

Access to facilities wasn't ideal, as it was one of the reasons I booked it. Guy on reception didn't know how I could access it. Guy in the gym at certain times, said he has to let me in, only when he was there though. So the listed access times, are not the case. Parking was very frustrating. Having to park round the back with a young child is not ideal. When we did get on the front car park, we were blocked in on one side. So had to pull car out in to driveway to then be able to get my daughter in to the car.

This is a returning trip to this wonderful venue. This year alone, I've stayed in apartments no. 80 and 73. Both were exceptional but 73 was my favourite due to the kitchen layout which was my preferred apartment for the this reason. The layout is light airy and spacious. Spotlessly clean. Everything you could need for a home from home with a fabulous view. I've been coming here for a few years now and intend on returning time and time again. Thank you the Osborne apartments.

What's not to like.

Beautiful, clean and warm apartment with a fully equipped kitchen. Lovely location with a great view. Friendly staff. Restaurant in the Osbourne hotel (same building as the apartments) reasonably priced. Access to the hotel indoor swimming pool was included in the stay, it was a little dated but it was clean and warm. Free parking.

I can imagine that parking by the apartments/ hotel must be a challenge during busy peak periods.

Superb apartment, everything we needed and more. Fabulous views overlooking the sea, location was beautiful. Would definitely return again, kids had a fab time and loved playing tennis and using the swimming pools.

No fault whatsoever of the apartments but a young baby in a pushchair.. the hills, the steps we certainly got a workout!

Our apartment was huge and much larger than what we expected. We both had a great night sleep in the bed which was larger than an average double bed. The Meadfoot beach was just at the bottom of the hotel and across the road and every morning we sat and had a lovely full english breakfast here. We visited the outdoor pool which was clean and a perfect heated temperature. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly. We would definitely book again if returning to Torquay.

We stayed in apartment 16 and I would say that the bathroom probably needs updating to make more modern. Unfortunately we wasnt able to get mobile signal in this apartment but there not much that can be done about that. Salt in salt shaker needed topping up. Had some issues using the streaming function for Netflix but managed to work in the end. I had taken my firestick but it looks as though the TV's dont support this function as the source button on the remote didnt work. The walk into Torquay took us around 20 minutes (we are quite quick walkers) but please note that its very hilly.

Absolutely stunning location, outdoor poor, tennis court, gym & beautiful bar terrace are just amazing. The newly refurbished pool is just wonderful. The grounds are wonderful. Our happy place.

We had apartment 35, which was on the ground floor & just at the back of the terrace bar marquee so our paid for sea view was obstructed. We’ve previously stayed in the hotel & had a room on the 2nd floor & the joy of waking up to that stunning sea view in all its glory is amazing. So as we had a precedent this years view on the ground floor was just not as good and we only had a very small view of the sea. When we arrived we needed to fully make up the sofa bed, pulling this out to make the bed from the sofa position & unpack all bedding which was wrapped up in the store cupboard. Put covers on duvet, pillows, under sheets - everything & I would have preferred not to have had to do this.
