Superb room providing every conceivable comfort, the bathroom was spotless and like every other feature to a very high quality. The coffee machine was a great bonus. The rooms are situated to the side of the pub car park, so parking is very convenient. The pub was very pleasant, and has a comprehensive menu. If your feeling adventurous super sausage cafe is just along the A5 for a big breakfast. Everything was effortless. Would use again without hesitation. Was very quiet considering.

Don't mistake the orange cordial for orange juice!

It was quiet, so clean and lovely. Location is great if you want something out of the city centre. Staff were so friendly, decor is beautiful I must say, whoever chose the colour scheme kudos to them. adage and adequate parking.

we couldn’t have breakfast because they had run out of certain things at about 11, our check out time. The coffee was so good though. For me personally the room was too light with the frosted window piece on the door., I just need a very dark room for a good nights sleep.

Very friendly staff when checked in, walked to my room - had a good chat with the lady who showed me to my room. Impressed with the room, good size, nice big bathroom, lots of hot water for the shower. Perfect pillows too! Decent wifi (free) and a nice big TV

A curtain across the front door would be great - each room is self-contained so it had a normal house-style front door - from about 4am the daylight meant the window in the door acted like a headlight and lit the room up! A curtain would make a huge difference.

I do love everything there was so comfortable and feel like my own time it is perfect. Car park perfect and food perfect. My partner grab massive spider lol but rest it is was fine

I don't like way of when I turn light off there was green light it difficult get me sleep. And there have one toilet roll for 3 nights it get empty I try find more. But I have to ask staff get more. Wifi is seem ok but it is keep freezing us bit. Shower is ok but I rather get bigger head.

The food was excellent. Highly recommend the pork belly, melt in the mouth. The room was very clean and looked after with the bed being comfy and a big telly to watch, not the little 20inch you usually get, Easy for parking and not far from silverstone race track or the towchester Racecourse. Will deffo book again And to top it off the shower was powerful unlike most hotel you stay in.

There's a bit of traffic noise as it's on a very busy road but nothing to worry about much

Staff were friendly, Room was lovely, in a great location, well thought out decor, loved the little touches like the little brownies, biscuits, fab hot drink options, cordial for water, the toiletries in the amazing bathroom. The quality of the towels & face clothes was top class, loved the shower. And there was a fan that matched the decor! Breakfast & the gent that served us, were brill! Definitely recommend & would stay again when visiting my sister.

We only stayed here for one night, as we had to drop our rental car back to Bletchley the next morning. The Old Talbot was a welcome surprise. The rooms at the back of the hotel are at ground level, so no carry luggage upstairs, and the rooms look new and are superb. The food at the pub is first c;lass, and lucky for us they had a trivia night. The staff were great, and the atmosphere very good. Really glad we picked this one!!

It was so convenient to two good shopping areas but still felt like you were in the heart of the country. The rooms were spacious and modern and the bathroom was by far the best I have stayed in on this holiday I’ve stayed in 5 differenr hotels in the last the last 2 weeks and this was by far the best

Breakfast wasnt available during the week, only at weekends which was a bit disappointing

Staff were amazing, food in restaurant excellent. Newly built, room looked nice and bed comfortable. 10 miles away from Silverstone and close to Towcester racecourse.

A few minor snagging issues need addressing for this accommodation, which I have reported on the management feedback form. If these are addressed, then this place will deserve a 10 out of 10 rating.

Comfortable room in separate building to rear of hotel/pub avoiding traffic noise. Rooms newly decorated and nicely finished. Restaurant and bar and lots of atmosphere.

Breakfast Ok but expensive as all items priced separately. Cooked breakfast didn't include coffee/tea, fruit juice, etc. Compared with other pubs/hotels, it wasn't good value for money and some items were not priced on the menu
