Neil and Kay were such gracious hosts. They kept their home up to beyond hotel standards. They made homemade breakfast every morning which was a great start to every day. They really seemed to understand the balance between being available and having conversations as well as staying out of the way to allow for privacy.

This was my first stay at a B&B and didn't know what to expect with the shared bathroom experience. However, it was just myself and my traveling buddy at the site, so there were no complications. However, I could see if there could be problems if other unruly or rude guests were also there. But this is an issue, I assume, with all B&Bs.

This small hotel lays just the middle of Cornwall, about 25 minutes drive from Truro. I would describe it as a small piece of jewel. We spent there two nights. The owners Kay and Neil are warm hearted people. They did their very best to make this place exceptional to stay at. The property, clean beautiful and tidy. We were provided with a lavish delicious breakfast. I’m allergic to dairy and they accommodated my special request. This is an exceptional place with exceptional service. Highly recommended. I used to work in the hotel industry and I know only the highly ranked 5 star hotels can do something similar. Thank You Kay & Neil. You exceeded our expectations.

Nice and clean Tasteful decoration Interesting quotes to read Easy to find Central location in Cornwall so we could explore both coasts easily Quiet location Friendly hosts

The only thing I would say is the bed was only a double I think, and we are used to a bigger bed at home, so was a bit of a squeeze as me and my partner are not the smartest people, but it was still comfortable

Hosts were very friendly and extremely helpful and hospitable. Rooms were spotlessly clean. Parking was easy and location good. Breakfast was very nice.

Shared bathroom could have been awkward had there been other guests staying that we didn't know. As it was this wasn't an issue as second room was booked by a friend. Bed was a very small double; if we'd been larger people we would have struggled.

It was situated in a beautiful area. The guest house was a lovely old building which had been restored, and up dated over the years by the owners themselves. Neil and Kay were very friendly and accommodating hosts.=; made it clear that they were always approachable should information or assistance be needed.

An easy chair in the bedroom would have been better and have made watching tv more comfortable.

Kay and Neil are lovely, very welcoming, and hospitable. We really enjoyed our stay. A lovely breakfast, good location, and close to a great pub called The Dolphin Inn. We would stay again.

Only a very slight criticism, a noisy bathroom fan that ran for quite a while after use, noticeable during the night. The room is quite light. Personally, we are used to a darker room during the night.

We loved everything about this beautiful and welcoming b&b not a single complaint everything was perfect. The hosts were fabulous and nothing was too much trouble for them, we were very comfortable and cared for. The house is just stunning and so homely. The garden was just gorgeous with its own stream running through it just teaming with nature and wildlife. The village was so pretty and peaceful had a lovely walk through the green spaces it provided and was transported to being a little kid again. I can't recommend this place enough was perfect little retreat for our hectic lives and feel rested and whole again. Thank you so much both we will be back soon x

Kay and Neil were wonderful and the breakfast each morning was truly excellent. Modern shower room with glorious rainfall shower. Terrific location for touring, not much more than an hour to anywhere in Cornwall. Free parking and the pub up the road were very handy.

The rooms were rather small, which is reflected in the price and is specified on the website, I just didn't notice it. Despite that, the room was well kitted out.

Bed and Breakfast: The bed was very comfortable, the breakfast fantastic. Stayed here while my daughter was at the Boardmasters Festival. Couldn't have chosen a much better place. Quiet location. Within easy distance for North & South coast, main roads and Truro. Loverly hot powerful shower. Whole place very clean. Very warm and friendly hosts. Look forward to staying here again if i'm in the area.

Trying hard to think of anything.

The hosts were very helpful and friendly from the moment we pulled into their on-site parking to the time we departed to our next destination. They recommended a nice pub within walking distance. We engaged in good conversation with them during breakfast. The facility was convenient for our travels and the room was quiet, clean and adequate for the two of us.
