Nice clean room. Very friendly helpful staff. Good central location

The room was too hot. Had to open a window. This caused noise, which was no fault of the Hotel. Thanks to storm babette the area was flooded and their were pumps in use in the streets below.

Young staff efficient and friendly; good fish & chips but menu rather limited; en-suite room recently refurbished - could do with a stool/chair in the bathroom although luckily I can still touch my toes (to dry them).

The woman, who appeared to be in charge, the following morning should try and be a little friendlier. It’s a shame that parking isn’t a little easier - street parking found about a 5 minute walk away.

Friendly welcome. Well appointed room, which had recently been refurbished and had a lovely view of the river. Bed very comfortable with good quality white cotton bed linen. We met a group of friends in the evening for a meal in the restaurant - service was excellent and food 'good pub grub'.

Refurbished, beautiful bathroom with excellent shower but no extractor fan. and towel rail which we couldn't turn up to improve the heating. Fear that the newly decorated walls will soon deteriorate.

Location. Room. Value. Lovely atmosphere. Luke helped us with our cases up the stairs and helpfully directed us when we were lost on arrival night.

Only downside was lack of a small piece of fruit and or yoghurt with breakfast. Breakfast 12 50 per person. Delicious - cooked, full English and toast but the staff looked surprised when asked if any fruit. Also no marmite! Finally, breakfast a tad early for a weekend 9 to 9.30am

Were directed to the top of the building and delighted to find we had not only a sizeable double bedroom but an extra surprise of a second room with settee and tv, plus a spacious bathroom and all 3 rooms with a lovely view over the River Severn. Very comfortable thank you, The staff were very helpful and friendly, and welcomed our dog too. We parked some way away in a public car park, but moved the car late afternoon when space became available for overnight parking outside the hotel. Nice walks from the Swan along the river bank, through to the fields, and close to all shops and restaurants in the great little town of Upton.

Friendly and helpful staff. Well appointed bedroom and bathroom. Comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast (but no yoghurt!).

Television in the room did not work - sound but no picture! A low table or bench in the room would be useful as somewhere to place suitcases for unpacking/repacking. For the price of the room would expect bottled water to be provided - the ‘cold’ tap in bathroom ran only lukewarm, not nice for drinking.

Lovely view down the River Severn; warm recently decorated room and super bathroom; mega comfortable bed with quality cotton bed linen and good pillows; friendly helpful staff.

Mirror in bedroom too high for the vertically challenged (I'm 1.56m tall). No dehumidifier in bathroom, (I suspect because it is an old listed building), so guests need to open the window to prevent build up of steam. (Not a problem in milder weather.)

Reat Location on the River with lovely views. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely pub. Great attic suite with lounge, bedroom and bathroom. Lovely dining area and lounge bar. Good large full English Breakfast. Very comfortable with character. Well worth it. Thank you Luke and the team.

Nothing not to like except no parking. Parked at Morrisons no problem. £3.00 for 24hr parking.

Super friendly and helpful staff. I believe there's only 6 rooms at the hotel. But the staff showed us to our room and were very helpful and went the extra mile. Quirky Hotel, exposed beams and very picturesque. We ate dinner in the bar/terraced area, which was lovely, and very good value for money too. Dog friendly as well, which is great.

Nothing to complain about but just to say I wouldn't recommend this hotel for anyone with mobility issues, as the staircases would not be practically for you

Location was ideal as it was secluded from the main street and alongside the river. The food served by the hotel was excellent.

I know the bathrooms have been refurbished and look very nice but the shower head needed to be a duel height one. Also the screen was a bi fold and only covered half the shower tray so water was spilling over the sides.
