Overall , nice stay , rooms immaculately clean . Staff excellent n polite . Even allowed us to check out at 12 instead ov 10am as we had spent the night in A n E. Plenty parking . No noise at all , we were on front , they had lge party in another room , you wouldn't have known .

Uncomfortable bed ,pillows with little amount of lumpy filling. No toiletries as stated, supposed to be complimentary. No clothing facilities, ie no coat hangers, cos no wardrobe ! No clothes rail alternative! No luggage stand . Had to live out of suitcase on floor , no good when you've got back problems. Stairs to rooms exceptionally steep , but got 2 hand rails .

Perfect size room really, the bed was comfortable just how I like it, pillows were ample and firm and despite the temperature having gone up recently I felt the temperature was spot on, which is coming from someone like me who gets hot and bothered easily! Staff nice and friendly, I should have had more of a courage to ask questions but my stay was really for having somewhere to stay overnight as I was away from the hotel all day. Bathroom was nice and modern, shower worked very well. For someone who has very rarely stayed away from my home town and London areas, a good start. Thanks :)

There was no iron and only a small rail to hang a few clothes on, only a nit pick really and I'm sure if I bucked up the courage to ask the friendly staff they would have accommodated and assisted. There was also no hand soap on the bathroom sink but I worked around that no problem. The only other gripe is that the hall ways upstairs in the hotel area were a bit dark and felt a bit old fashioned so could be spruced up and be a bit more welcoming. Again only a small gripe! There was nothing really that bad that made my stay bad, just nit picks.

The room, number 29, was clean and spacious, could be described as 'Basic' but it met my needs. The radiator warmed the room splendidly, and I was very comfortable. I believe the room is in the process of renovation as a few items were missing since my last stay. But none the less I was contented. I didn't use the shower but the bath, as I don't have a bath at my home so it made a welcome change to submerge my weary body in hot water, as I'd rode there on my motorbike leaving me with some aches.

There really wasn't anything I didn't like. It would be nice if they provided a breakfast, as they don't at the moment as far as I know.

Suitably located accomodation which I secured at very short notice for a rather reasonable price. Considering I was prepared for it to be rather basic (albeit all that I needed), I was pleasantly surprised that this hotel actually turned out to be way better than I expected. Two experiences, personal to myself, made minor but key differences to my stay: 1) Having travelled by car for my stay, I was worried that the somewhat early check-out time imposed would detrimentally disrupt my plans for a day out around Birmingham City. However, after explaining this to the staff when checking out, they were extremely accommodating and very kindly allowed me to leave my car parked safely at the hotel until late afternoon/early evening; this allowed me to attend my previously made plans as scheduled, for which I was very grateful to them for their kind help with this. 2) Perhaps an individual quirk, but if you like listening to passing trains, some of the rooms (location dependent) come with a relaxing night-time soundtrack, courtesy of the freight flows on the nearby Sutton Park line, which can be heard for a fairly good distance. I left my window open and gently fell asleep in no time, with the odd train or two echoing along in the distance to provide background ambience to help me get to sleep.

My only one main dislike is rather simple: Although my stay was very brief and hastily arranged, meaning I didn't get chance for a fuller experience, I feel as though that this hotel has a lot of potential that it perhaps hasn't yet lived up to. I think it could have a lot more to offer for guests, building on the positives it has already established so far. It is nicely laid out and yet it looks to be really underutilised from what it could provide. It's a great-looking place that I think could be even greater. Hopefully they will have achieved this by the time of a potential return visit from myself.

The food here was absolutely amazing and the rooms were very clean, friendly staff and great layout. A real surprise to us as we booked not knowing anything about this hotel and booked on a spur. This place is absolutely outstanding. Great value for money. It was the cheapest we could find however this did not stop this place ensuring that you had the best time. The food honestly blew us away. The chef there is fantastic.

The hallways to rooms is the only thing that kind of let's this lovely place down as looks a bit dated but I am being quite picky.

Room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel had a very nice ambiance and the staff was very courteous and professional, they assisted me throughout the evening as I was entertaining guests and they even asked me for business cards at the end of the night. The food was excellent and I was very well looked after.

Only continental breakfast available, I would have happily paid for a full breakfast as I stopped over for the night. Wifi signal poor but it's not down to the hotel, I spoke to a few locals and the area is not well connected so the hotel has no control over it. Having a later checkout would also help (at the moment it's 10am).

Staff were very helpful and lovely Room was a nice size and temperature was fine Bed was comfy. Towels provided in room. Was able to order takeaway to hotel. Plenty of parking. I would stay again but not for the price I paid.. I do hope they can have a good cleaner in because it's a ok hotel if you want to stop off for the night. And the staff are lovely..

Could be alot cleaner !! £75 for one night with no breakfast from booking.com is too much for this hotel! Bathroom could be cleaner. Tv small no USB charging points only 1 in the bar area. Hygiene and price is a little to be desired.

The Hotel is clean & fresh, great refurb since I was last there, lots of parking The rooms were nice, staff were spot on and the Bar was reasonably priced too.

The Disability rooms were spoiled by the fact that the doors leading to the bathroom only opened about half way, they jammed up against the bed. If you needed to get out of the bed on the side near the door you could not as the door blocks you, There is no way a wheelchair could access the Wet room/Bathroom. Other than a stain on the ceiling which should have been painted. The room was nice and a lovely firm bed it was quiet and I had a good nights sleep. What I will say is the wireless is Very very poor which is a pain as there is NO phone signal so you are a little cut off, it cant be that hard to have an adequate wireless system, the staff on the reception were well aware of how bad the signal is. I would go again though, PLEASE sort the wifi and silly door in the disabled room (20)

I did enjoy the room we were in, it seemed fairly modern and was quiet except for the people next door to us. (We were in the extended rooms to the left of the bev hotel) there's only 2 rooms in that part of the hotel. We liked the shower and the look of the room so that's a bonus. Beds were actually quite nice but the mattress was uncomfortable and stiff. Woke up with a bad back but nothing too major.

The mattress was very hard buy not major. The desks in the room were far too slim and not spacious enough that my 1 year old had managed to almost tip over the boiling kettle a few times which is extremely dangerous. There wasn't enough space for our belongings on these desks at all. Only issue in the room was this though!
