We stayed in a family room which was plenty big enough for the four of us )two adults and 2 children under 4). the staff made up the sofa bed and provided us with a travel cot as soon as we requested them. Parking is ample and was free on the weekend we stayed. There’s a swimming pool on site which was great for the kids and the family changing rooms were very handy. The on site restaurant served tasty food and was decent value for money and the menu was child friendly. All the staff we met were really helpful and friendly and went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay.

Some areas of the hotel could do with a little TLC (carpets) but generally ok.

Did not have time for the breakfast but enjoyed the location and the hotel facilities although the pool facilities like the sauna and steam rooms were over crowded with men!

Staff at check in were very welcoming and friendly. Later that I night I enquired with the chap on reception as to what times the pool was open the following the morning. He replied to check the poster in the entrance as he was too busy chatting to a female colleague. I found this very rude and unprofessional.

Room, helpfulness and politeness of the staff

Service in the conference facility was OK (ish) but Luke war water for coffee breaks and warm soft drinks with lunch. Staff and food OK in the bar/restaurant but the format is a challenge for those of us who dislike football (is it actually a crime?) and find conversation difficult with very loud music. Some segregation of the bar/restaurant area or attempt at noise reduction would be good.

Room was comfortable and spacious. I was quite impressed with the design and decor, especially the bathroom and shower. Everything was clean and staff were helpful and welcoming. The gym was very well equipped and I had a good workout in the morning. Would stay here again.

Would be nice if the gym cost was included in the price (rather than an optional extra) and there was a little bit of noise from the corridor and adjoining rooms (although no more than in any other modern hotel).

We arrived much later than expected and it was in the middle of what seemed to be some kind of wedding reception, yet the staff were quickly on hand to check us in, and assured us that the music would be promptly turned off - which was irrelevent since the room was in complete silence and we were barely a floor above the speakers. The bed was incredibly comfy, bathroom well equipped and the room was very tidy. Checked out ourselves in the morning with zero hassle whatsoever.

The only complaint I had for this stay is that there was no accessible 3 pin plug socket next to the bed, which meant that I had to charge my phone away from myself. This was thankfully not a major issue but obviously there are some moments where having a phone immediately to hand in the middle of the night would be essential.

Great Location straight off J10 of M6 Free Weekend Parking Large Car Park. Good quality Food. Large Bar area 4 sided bar to allow better access. Friendly Polite and very helpful staff. Always Someone available. Cinema style viewing for sports events. Large TV in Room easy to operate.

The outside Ramp was wet due to a leak.. But to be fair it had rained heavily.

The lack of lights in the room, especially bedside side lights, no Aircon, and the noise from the motorway which was 600m away. The cost of food and drinks, especially the coffee in the restaurant was over price for what you receive. Barman on the evening of 27th seemed to find the to hard to friendly and asking for a drink seemed a hard task for him to do.

Good windows to let the light in. My room was warm! Bed was really comfortable after travelling. Bathroom was clean too. My room was quiet and was not disturbed by other people/ other guests. Amazing service from the ladies working there.

Tv remote, some buttons were not working but this wasnt a big issue. The matress under the bed was stained, should have been replaced.

Rooms were very comfortable and clean with very little noise. Used the restaurant for breakfast and found it to have a warm atmosphere and good food.

Lack of radiator in the bathroom for drying towels after use, also the extractor was not efficient enough to stop the bathroom really really steaming up.

Comfy bed, room was a good size, powerful shower, good facilties with bar, gym & starbucks on site. Close to motorway. KFC next door. I liked the tea pot for my tea at breakfast.

Disappointed that there was only scrambled eggs at breakfast. i was looking for healthier choices, like boiled or poached eggs on toast but settled with banana on toast & some greek yoghurt. Bacon looked very streaky/fatty too.
