Good location, not far from the motorway but still nice and quiet. Very comfortable beds and the rooms, as a whole, where a decent size and pretty clean. Friendly staff at reception. Really good value for money breakfasts which was really tasty. Dinner was also available for us and was also really good. Ample free parking right next to the hotel.

The hotel could probably benefit from some modernisation, some parts where looking a little tatty. Air con in the rooms would be good, we stayed on a hot night and the room was very warm and stuffy, however, a fan was supplied which was much appreciated!

Beautiful setting, was not expecting a lot due to the low price so was really surprised and happy with both the outside and inside. A comfortable clean room (tiling and grout a bit dated in bathroom but you could tell it had been cleaned so all good) Staff in both the hotel reception and the pub were extremely friendly, big shout out to Oliver!😃 I had a steak dinner on the first evening and my brother had a vegetarian meal and we were both very happy with our meals. The lady running the breakfast room was absolutely lovely, welcoming and friendly and the breakfast was delicious! Walkable to Warrington town and train station and approximately half hour walk to the crematorium which was the reason for our visit.

Bathroom bit dated (but clean). Apparently they are about to be updated after which the 9 star rating would probably go up to a 10.

the staff at reception were lovely. the room was clean and the shower was nice and powerful. Its pretty basic, a little outdated but if your staying for just a night then its cool. great location to warrington town Centre and surrounding areas. beds were really comfy and we got a great nights sleep

the restaurant. the breakfast was 5/10. burnt bacon, funny tasting beans, dry bread and black pudding. no rosties or mushrooms. Over £10 for two beers. unfortunately we won’t be returning to the restaurant. your better walking into the town Centre. loads of options for places to eat. we’re a massive fan of Warrington market 😁

Very clean and comfortable to stay in, staff were very friendly and welcoming plus even asking how our day is and what we've been up to. You can come and go as you please including smoking area very close to the front entrance. Breakfast was lovely and fresh with a decent selection

The rooms bath tiles need looking into as they are in a poor condition. The plug to divert the bath to the shower kept falling so needs looking into. Breakfast from 7 to 9am is a bit early for us, would have been nice if it was open from 7am to 10am, just that extra hour in bed would have been perfect

Location, next to the pub facilities, outside appearance, friendliness and efficiency of staff excellent 👍 Room warm and comfortable, good noise insulation but some other guests noisy in the corridor, which was unnecessary and inconsiderate towards others resting.

It was obvious that the rooms had been refitted; for the sake of a little filler and sealant that could be better disguised. Remove old temperature controls etc. Mold on the grouting and sealant in the shower over bath, Room 24, is not costly or difficult to resolve & maintain. This makes a huge difference to the perception of room quality and is not seen in similar chains like Premier Inn or Travelodge.

I loved the friendly staff and the breakfast. So delicious and nutritive. Very fast service. The location was at 1m distance from the place where my course would take place. Quietness and everything very cosy.

The only thing that did not work was the Internet. I simply could not create an account to be able to use it. I tried several times from the phone and from my PC and I could not get the message of confirmation on my email. So, I had to use my hotspot and my mobile data.

Yes staff was brilliant there is only one thing I would like you to improve very warm and humid in the room I stayed 3 night not even a 1 night we had a sleep it was that bad everything else was perfect so I want think coming back but if you change the eco facility the we might to do.

Room was cleaned, staff brilliant just the room very warm I was struggling breathing and couldn't sleep at all went with Family we all struggle

Closeness to be able to walk into town. Room large and clean. Adjacent pub for breakfast.

Wifi very poor in accommodation and pub. Had weddings both nights we stayed and on one of the nights at 2am in morning couple having arguments for a long time and very loudly, thought security could have dealt with this. We stayed 2 nights and the pub hadn't had floor cleaned from night before on both mornings when having breakfast. On second morning breakfast finished at 10am. We entered at 9.35, had cereals and waited for our cooked breakfast to arrive, which came at nearly 10. At exactly 10 we were told to get what we wanted from the breakfast table as they were clearing away. If we hadn't waited so long for the cooked breakfast we would have finished and not had to rush. 12 people were still eating their breakfasts at this point.

Modern Hotel, with all the basics in the hotel, located just outside the city centre, with free car parking, rooms nice large, and clean, old fashioned key, which was cool, the restaurant/pub is located across the road, great deco and layout, and lovely food for single travel or family, nice hotel and pub, plenty of free parking.

No Incentive to stay at the hotel and eat in the restaurant.

Hotel was clean and tidy and set next to a green king pub Close to the city centre so great location Excellent for the money. Nothing fancy but we'll worth the money if want a basic hotel in a good location. Beds very comfy and all the usual facilities in a hotel hairdryer etc

Room was slightly dated but can't complain for the price we paid. Still great value for money.
