I booked the Executive Suite because it was two adults (mother and daughter) and one child sharing the room. That gave us plenty of space for sleeping and moving around. The balcony was great, even in February. The room was comfortable and clean which was all we needed. The best thing was that there was a fridge in the room which I was not expecting but that made life a whole lot easier. The staff were all very nice and friendly. Great for parking and for accessing the Gullivers World Theme Park, which is why we were there of course!
The internet was a bit mixed, the first day it didn't work at all. But the other 2 days it seemed to be ok. Little things in the room were broken. The curtain rail, tv remote control, pull out bed wheels all needed attention, but nothing major. The resort could do with a more upmarket cafe/restaurant. We didn't eat any of the food on site because it all looked pretty unhealthy and not very attractive.

A nice hotel at a competitive price. Set near small woodland where I would have gone for a short walk if I had more time. Next to a children's theme park but that isn't an issue for business travel as closed in evening. The room itself was entertaining as it had a small area with bunk beds and children's decorations. Main bedroom was to normal business standards so not a problem just unusual.
Although I know the town i found it difficult to find the hotel. It is on a huge ex air base "hidden" on the edge of Warrington. You have to go around miles of roads that seem to go nowhere to find it. The satnav does take you there but a few more signs along the way would be reassuring. Also when you get there clearer signs for hotel parking would help as there's a huge car park with little indication of where hotel is.

Nice environment to be in surrounding by trees nice to see the nature. Plus point beds really comfy and a lot of room so you wasn't banging into anything. I would return for the surroundings and the piece and quite. Nice value for the money.
The exterior is fantastic but inside it does not reflect. Think this needs updating. Not much on offer for evening meals or at the bar. Breakfast bog standard a bit over cooked for me. Coffee in cardboard cups not great. On a closer inspection of my room in the morning cobwebs on ceiling and on skirting boards behind floor standing lamp. Looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. Some of the staff were on phones tables were sticky asked to clean which the lady did but was still sticky afterwards. The long mirror was in the wrong place for a couple weekend unless you are into watching yourself (if you know what I mean).

The staff were very friendly and helpful. booking us a taxi and providing information. Gave us the room key before we could check in as we arrived early to drop luggage before heading off. Nice surprise to be in a themed room. The western suite - my ‘kids’ (21 & 16) thought it was hilarious as did us parents. I’ve ticked sleeping in a wagon off my bucket list!!) Beds comfy with fresh clean bedding. Extra towels, pillows and toilet rolls in room also with tea and coffee facilities. The suite actually sleeps 6. It was perfect for us for what we needed, a place to stay after being at the Neighbourhood Weekender. It’s a 4 mile walk back though from Victoria park just in case anyone considers it in the future. We walked it and it wasn’t too bad (just avoid cutting through Sankey Park as it’s pitch black and via the canal 🤣)
Nothing. Perfectly fine for us as a family of 4.

This hotel is perfectly pitched at children. It has a playground! And we had lovely evening entertainment which wasn't obnoxious for adults, it was bubbles and a movie and colouring in and milk and cookies for bedtime! We upgraded our room and it had a lovely kids bunk bed in a little alcove done as a tree house with a curtain to block out light and their own little TVs! The kids loved it! They slept well, so we slept well! The staff were also SO helpful and friendly. With obvious enjoyment of working around children
It would be nice to have more breakfast options.

Property is a little dated and needs a bit of upkeep but it was clean, comfortable and staff were excellent. I was concerned before booking with the recent negative trip adviser remarks but if you have family with young children, this is a great hotel to stay at for the weekend when there is family entertainment. The best I’ve experienced in a while.
Couldn’t say anything bad or I didn’t like. It was great and kids (8) and (11) loved it and also the theme park

Our 5 year old loved the hotel and of course Gulliver's world. Enjoyed seeing the mascot walking around the hotel! Little park at the back was great. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. Family suite room were spacious with a separate jungle themed room for kids each with their own tv!! Menu prices for food and drinks were very affordable.. and they even put our some free welcome drinks upon arrival.... Will definitely return!
We had to wait until 4 pm for check in eventhough we arrived at 2.

I booked the holiday house for 6 adults (the big ones at the end of the park). Overall it was a good experience and the place was fun for the kids. The living room was well decorated with a nice view. Good quality sofas and the kitchen was well equipped as well. The house comes with gas central heating so fits for cold winter. The staff at the reception were friendly. Also the hotel comes with free car park.
The structure of the house made of hard plastic, so we couldn't get a good sleep in heavy rain as you can hear the pouring next to you. The TV in the living room was too small. The mattresses were low quality and not comfortable at all. The car park is far away so you have to carry your luggage and walk for a long distance and seems the reception has no luggage trolley.

The design of the childrens room with a little treehouse bunkbed and a chalk board was so cute my little 1 loved it! It's in a great location near the town, asda and just across the car park you have the Gullivers theme park, we went to see the light show! Staff were all very lovely and helpful!
Room was a little dusty. Would be helpful if they had a small fridge in the room for the babies food.

Great hotel & a great location. Just a short walk to Gullivers World. We were given a family room with a balcony, which was a nice little touch. The bed was comfortable & the room was clean. Overall a great stay
There was an issue with the WiFi, apparently they had changed providers a couple of weeks ago & they had been having issues since then. There is no doubt that WiFi is important in this day & age, especially if you have children!!! but this was only a niggle
