Keith and Sharon were the perfect hosts - helpful on arrival re luggage and parking and had a brilliant cream tea in beautiful garden. Keith's cooked breakfasts were fantastic as were Sharon's poached eggs. The strawberries were delicious too. Convivial atmospheric in dining room with other guests and hosts. Room was comfortable - good shower and comfy bed. Great location to discover Watchet and the surrounding villages - beautiful in fact. Plus the house itself is amazing. Thank you Keith and Sharon for looking after us so well.
Absolutely nothing!!

Traditional B&B, with very cosy feel in a very beautifully restored period house. Stunning breakfast room. Excellent cooked breakfast. Friendly , uncomplicated host. Everything worked well in the end suite bathroom and the rest was plenty of storage ( wardrobe with wooden hangers, chest of drawers, night table. Parking is separate ( public car park) but close enough. The charges only apply in the daytime between 9am - 6pm, so as long as one goes out and about with one's car in the daytime , there is hardly anything to pay. ( we popped out just before breakfast to put an hours ticket in) The house is well situated for strolls through the historic heart of this small town, where there is a refreshingly healthy community spirit, not least with regard to cultural attractions ( museums, artefacts, steam Railway Station, art gallery and art Studios, book exchange) There's a post office and a small coop nearby, which is very convenient. You can see lovely sunsets on evening strolls, and there are some pleasant side streets tucked away, with quaint cottages, a babbling Brook and pretty little gardens. Beautiful day trips to be made nearby... Plenty to see if you like history and gardens, coastal walks , and rockpooling on rugged beachfront) We used PayPal as means of payment to Booking. co,, so there was no problem in this regard.

My partner and I had planned a long weekend in Watchet and needed somewhere to stay and decided to give The Georgian House a go and what a great choice for a B&B. Great location in the centre of town and 5 minutes if that walk away from the harbour and town amenities. Due to its location, there isn’t any parking but directly behind the property is a public carpark with really good rates. All day was £5.20 (9am – 6pm). The B&B itself lives up to its name not only that it is a Georgian house but it is decked out as you would imagine for a house of this period and style which was really cool. It was at the total opposite end of the décor spectrum compared to ‘Number 18’ in Conwy which is all 60s and 70s (No 18 highly recommended BTW). The Georgian House owner, Keith and his assistant, Sharron were an absolute pleasure, very friendly and helpful and Keith gave us some great top tips of things to see and do and day 2 of our trip so many thanks Keith. The room we had was great, no issues at all and the breakfast was top and Keith cooked my tomatoes perfectly. We were lucky enough to be in Watchet when the West Somerset Railway were having their Steam Extravaganza so when we had done out walk along the coast to Minehead we were lucky enough to book a ride back to Watchet on the ‘Lady of Legend’ steam train which was so cool. So, would we stay at The Georgian House again? Yes we would👌👍 Would we recommend it to others? Yes, most definitely, highly recommended 👌👍
For us, there was nothing to not like, it was all great and as mentioned, we would highly recommended The Georgian House 👍

The location was perfect. The hosts were really friendly and accommodating..... Although we opted out of the full English breakfast, what we did have was very good, especially the poached eggs.... Presentation was superb.
TV was on a low table opposite the bed and it was impossible to see the full screen.... It would have been better if it had been mounted on the wall.

Keith and Sharon were very welcoming. Our room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely with a large pot of tea and coffee and extra toast. There was also cereal, yoghurt and fruit. Watchet is a great place to stay for a couple of days and a good base to explore further afield
There was nothing not to like. Good accommodation in a central location. There was no free parking but we paid £5 for the whole day.

Beautiful hotel! We had the red suite which has huge bedroom with big sleigh bed and overlooks the garden. It also has a separate dressing room with a very well lit dressing table and a separate massive bathroom with the largest claw foot bath and shower we’ve ever seen! Sucky lovely hosts who couldn’t do enough for us. Great breakfast with proper sausages and bacon
We liked everything!

Location was perfect as we were dining in the Town and the Georgian is right in the middle, no more than 2 minutes walk to anywhere in Watchet. It was also very convenient for a couple of paces we wanted to visit, just a few minutes drive away. Breakfast was whatever we wanted it to be, from full English through to eggs on toast, and as much coffee and toast as you want, so absolutely no complaints. The hospitality is of the highest standard.
Nothing, but would recommend early booking as it is a popular place.

Breakfast superb. Fresh strawberries on the table, fruit yoghurt, cereals and an amazing full English. The staff friendly and helpful.
Only complaint was very squeaky floor in bathroom. I was concerned about disturbing other guests when I used bathroom during the night. No parking, although the public car park nearby was a very reasonable price for all day.

This is a very aditional hotel that has been renovated in a very sympathetic way. The room we had (blue) was not large but it had everything we need and more storage space than most of the rooms we stay in in modern hotels. The location is perfect and there is a very pleasant garden at the back. I doubt there is anywhere better in Watchet.

The location is excellent, 50-ish yards from the seafront. As the name suggests, it's a period property with lots of character, furnished with antiques and objets d'art. Keith is an excellent host, ably supported by Sharon - they're both great! The breakfasts were excellent: generous and very nicely-cooked both days of our visit.
Nothing.
