Really friendly staff, good choices of food on the menu from light bites to main meals and food available all day. Buffet style cooked breakfast with tea and coffee plus a selection of juices. Brilliant location for access to Exmoor with its variety of walks and welcoming villages plus the seaside villages of stunning Watchet and Porlock within easy reach. Both Clatworthy Reservoir and Wimbleball reservoir within 15-20mins with their access to scenic trails, fishing and water sports. At the end of the day, aside from the food, a great selection of local and main label drinks from a well stocked bar!

Would have been nice to have a wall mounting to hold the showerhead rather than a straightforward hand held shower hose - but that didn't spoil the break at all, just a matter of preference

Accommodation lovely rural setting old quaint coach inn, quiet and tranquil. Breakfast perfectly adequate but feel the addition of some fruit and yogurt would benefit as not everyone eats cereal, but cooked breakfast very good.

We stayed in the annex, although the interior of the room was newly decorated and comfortable a need for some drawers to put things in would have made it better. Although we only stayed for three nights we were unable to unpack under garments as nowhere to put them and used case as drawers. There was not a wardrobe but the hanging rail was sufficient for other items of clothing.

Super friendly welcome, beautiful clean room with lots of room for me and mum. Also as well as the beds there were 2 wingback chairs for us to sit and read 😁 We had easy access to lots of great places we visited some beautiful villages and a castle! Breakfast was from 8 - 11 an all you can eat buffet with fresh eggs cooked at your request. We had a lovely quiet stay. 👌

TV is due an update Shower could be better,

Comfortable, clean room, excellent full english breakfast, but no alternative offered. Friendly staff. Serves 'pub grub' lunch and dinner times. Carvery on Wednesdays and Sundays. We had the Sunday carvery, which was really, really good. Campsite available at £10 per night, showers and toilets, plus usual services available. Additional charge for electric hook up.

Transport is a must, if you want to get out and about.

The location was just perfect for visiting family. Staff were very helpful with any queries we had and looked after us very well. The view from the Inn is quite stunning, our food during our stay was good especially the Carvery which is very good value for money.

The room was very spacious and very comfortable, and the staff were wonderful.

There was no shower, not even over the bath until after we checked in. It would appear that because of the age of the property it was not possible due to lack of water pressure. This was also very evident when trying to run a bath - this took about half an hour!

Clean & comfortable, like you would expect. Despite my dislikes I mentioned, It was a lovely room & the food in the evening & at breakfast was lovely.

We only had a bath, which was fine, but the plug chain was broken. Also, there was no shower attachment, so it made washing your hair very difficult! The main disappointment was that there was quite a toxic smell in the room, in the middle of the night/morning. The bedroom window was open, so whether there was some kind of vent outside, expelling something I don't know!

I was visiting family not far away so location was excellent. Although the food looked lovely, we didn't have an evening meal only breakfast which was so tasty and we looked forward to this every morning. Staff were extremely friendly too.

When booking I asked for a room with a shower as I don't like baths. The room did not have a shower and this was what I specifically asked for. However, the staff very kindly changed rooms for us with an amazing shower but with twin beds and the room was freezing.

The location was beautiful and the inn matched this. All staff where friendly and helpfull with nothing but positive outlooks throughout. the room was clean and comfy to be in. Breakfast went above and beyond what I was expecting. would definatly recomend for a solo stay or a romantic getaway

the room had a bath which was a bit of a pain for a quick get up and go but was very clean and still more than useable so didn't take away from the stay at all.

Everything under one roof, comfortable room. Good menu choices and staff very friendly.

Room not serviced during our stay presumably through lack of staff. Bathroom had no bin or mat. Breakfasts were limited for choice - no fruit at all available, limited cereals but full English food was excellent.
