Excellent location, lovely room, comfy bed, clean, breakfasts fantastic, hosts were lovely and attentive and got free parking permit.

Hardly anything! - 3 very minor points! We would have liked a sea view room but not essential! Maybe we were too late in booking, not sure. We would have liked to have sat near the main sea front window on one of the 3 breakfast times we had but we’re on the same table away from the window on each occasion. We couldn’t get parked in front of the guest house and had to drive around for a while to find a space - bit it was a very busy time in the town. We eventually found one round the corner.

We liked everything about our stay, before we arrived Richard the owner contacted me with all the details I required to make our check in easy and efficient, on our arrival we found the room spotless and comfortable, We had a great sleep the bed was comfortable and the area is quiet. The following morning we went to the breakfast room and was greeted by Richard and shown to our table, the breakfast cooked freshly by Joanne was very tasty, they use local produce and it’s cooked to perfection Richard was attentive to everyone’s needs. Can’t wait to return. You can’t go wrong staying here Thank you to you both for your hospitality

Great location with stunning views across Whitby Harbour, the Abbey, the stairway and St Mary’s church. Good size, spotlessly clean, room. Comfy bed. Great breakfast choices. Richard and Joanne were extremely welcoming hosts. Highly recommend.

A parking permit was available however finding a space was difficult but we visited during rare clash of Regatta weekend and the start of folk week and Whitby was very busy. Once parked up we didn’t move the car until departure so wasn’t a problem. I understand that parking is not usually such an issue.

Location was spot on if you want to visit Whitby only a few minutes walk to harbor front and tourist spots but far enough away so your not disturbed by noise etc. We was in room 5 and you could easily organize all tourist sights you'd want to visit from the great view from the window we had. Breakfast was well cooked and there was a decent choice of options to cater for most peoples palate. Car park permit was very handy and I found a space easily opposite the B&B. Owners were friendly and made us feel very welcome and the room was very clean as were all the communal areas.

Nothing really the B&B advertised with pics and good reviews were what we found

Lovely property overlooking the sea. Only a very short walk to the shops and amenities. Comfortable and clean room. The owners were friendly and welcoming and cooked a very nice breakfast.

The only thing i didn’t like was the parking. This is nothing to do with the property. Parking in Whitby is very busy and although you are given a pass to use, don’t bank on being able to park outside where tire you’re staying. We were lucky to find a spot near by, but saw little in the way of empty spaces generally.

Location, proprietors and the fact that you could park outside or close to the premises. The breakfasts were outstanding.

We were on the top floor basically in the loft and the room had a sloping ceiling on which I hit my head several times. Lack of bedside table at one side of the bed, large wardrobe took up a lot of space that could have ben better used and a tiny bathroom which was useable but not a pleasure to be in especially with the glass shelf at head height when you leant over to wash your face.

Highly recommend Number 7 Guest House to one & all. Outstanding service. Amazing hospitality. The cleanliness & attention to detail is absolutely second to none. Nothing too much trouble & the owners go out of their way to ensure a perfect stay. So many positive comments about these hard working hosts. Absolutely marvellous with everything catered for, including a parking permit. Simply enjoy and relax. Thank you so much.

Nothing at all!

I loved everything about this property, it was modern, clean and comfortable and it is ideally placed for all the attractions Whitby has to offer but is out of the way of noisy crowds. The breakfasts were well cooked with quality ingredients, delicious is the word that sums them up. The owners are a lovely couple and I had the impression that if there was something they could do to make your stay better they would. No need! This is the perfect place to stay in Whitby. Looking forward to staying again.

There was nothing to dislike, it was a perfect stay.

Great location for access to Whitby attractions. Attentive hosts made sure everything was comfortable. Breakfast was REALLY good ...... possibly the nicest scrabled eggs I've ever had - and the view of the Abbey made having breakfast there even more enjoyable !!

Parking can be a big problem in Whitby, and even though you get a "local" permit, it may be difficult during holiday periods or festivals. But there is a public car park nearby but be prepared to pay extra.

Everything!!! The hosts were amazing, I have allergies (dairy and gluten) and they were so wonderful and I had a marvellous breakfast every morning. The bedroom was perfect, bed very comfortable and if I ever needed help the hosts would definitely be there to take care of any needs I had. I will be definitely coming back.

Leaving, could quite happily stay for months.
