The room was cosy, the bed was really comfortable, the hotel smelt really nice and the hosts were lovely. Parking was really simple too. The breakfast was gorgeous, a lot to choose from and everything was fresh. They definitely get the bacon and sausage from a local butchers. The hotel is really close to the beach and isn't a far away walk from all the shops and cafes. A really pleasant and accommodating stay.

There wasn't really anything to dislike, I think the shower head in the bathroom was well used but even that isn't really anything to complain about.

The hotel is in a good location, about a 10 min walk into town. Room was clean with everything you would expect. Breakfast was well cooked with a good selection of fresh fruit and yogurts. Any minor maintenance issues we had were remedied quickly and without fuss. Parking is on roadside with a pass which covers a wide area of nearby roads. Would recommend

Like most guest houses in the area it is over 3 or 4 floors so it might be worth checking with hotel if you have difficulty with stairs. Google maps tried to send us down the lane at rear of hotel, not hotel's fault but something to be aware of.

Location was fantastic, walking distance for most of what we wanted to do, parking great with the permit, exceptionally clean very spacious rooms, breakfast was outstanding with great quality produce and cooked to perfection, lovely atmosphere throughout, room over and above what we expected, fabulous friendly hosts

Nothing really if had to critique then possibly some secondary glazing as seagulls very chatty early hours but we did opt to holiday by the sea ! And possibly some USB ports in the sockets but that is being ultra picky

Location was perfect, close to centre and harbour! Once we had found a parking space (in the W zone which was for holiday accommodation) we collected a permit from the b&b and that it was it for the weekend. Everything was spotlessly clean, from the room to the cutlery in the dining room! Breakfast was great and plenty of it And the hosts were really lovely people and so friendly and welcoming!

Can’t fault it in any way.

Nice and clean, owners were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely, with a variety of options. Must say, the eggs were the best I’ve had anywhere. Great view of the Abbey as you come out of the property. For us the walk down to the front was never an issue

Only real problem we had was the setting of the shower, with temperatures and the power of the shower. Nothing else was a problem

The couple running the b&t were extremely helpful and joyful. The breakfast was amazing and the owner happily made me a bacon sandwich which was not on the menu. We requested a bath which we got, and there was loads of hot water. Lots of thoughtful things in room such as mini fridge & bottle opener. Great location within a few minutes of town centre for shopping and eating out.

Nothing.

The lady who checked us in was lovely, we had travelled 3 hrs on a Friday night and we were tired when we arrived she greeted me with warming smile and went through housekeeping. The breakfast was outstanding. The fruit was so fresh I ordered poached eggs, and they were cooked perfectly, the rest of my family orderdd scrambled eggs and they looked delicious, The gent we saw every morning to take our breakfast orders was polite and greeted us with a smile the whole place runs so efficiently. The entire property was spotlessly clean. The towels were fresh and fluffy, and the bed was extremely comfortable. What was a lovely surprise to us was the room, we booked a family room we expected it to be one room but it was more like a suite with two bedrooms beautifully spacious. The location is perfect 5 mins walk to all the shops. The pictures honestly do not do this place justice. This property exceeded my expectations We will definitely stay here again on our annual whitby trip.

There was nothing we didn't like

The breakfast was great. Plenty of fresh fruit and fruit juice plus cereals. The cooked breakfast set you up for the day and was really tasty. Host was always keen to give you more toast and coffee if you needed any, not that it was needed as there was always plenty. Nice little touch was the help yourself bowl of chocolates at the bottom of the stairs. Great location just a short stroll from the centre and ample free on street parking with a permit from the guest house. Room was spacious and clean. Bed was so comfortable that we needed the alarm to wake us up in the morning 🙂

Nothing

Check in was quick and easy, we were given a parking permit, the room key and told where to go for breakfast and at what time. The room was spotless, towels lovely and soft. Plenty of tea, milk and coffee in the room. The bed was comfy, but I did toss n turn a lot, my arthritis the issue not the bed. Owners nice and friendly. Breakfast was delicious, we had fruit and yoghurt, the a full English, everything was cooked perfectly and all steaming hot. We would definitely book again when we go back to Whitby. Thank you! There was nothing that I didn't like....maybe climbing up 2 floors to our room, but that was down to us booking it late, not the owners.
