First B&B I have ever stayed that has a microwave, toaster and fridge. Very clean and a lovely outside space to sit and enjoy the countryside. Toast, jams, milk & cereals, yoghurts, apples, fruit juice for the very cheap breakfast. After watching four in a bed, top marks for a clean loo brush, LOL.

Just a few tiny little things if I'm really picky. A few curtain ring hooks were broken, a tiny bit of mould on the bath mastic, the shower screen on the bath was difficult to open and close, a small segment of laminated floor missing under the bedside rug and the wardrobe runners need cleaning. The deep gravel on the driveway makes it very hard for disabled access (wheelchair or rollator use)

The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. Beds were super comfortable. Lots of windows with a view of the pretty garden and countryside (we were in room 2). Nice patio with seating. The breakfast provided was great. Toaster and microwave in the room, good sized wardrobe with hangers, mini fridge and a table and chairs for eating at. Fantastic location, close to Waddesdon. The hosts were really lovely, friendly and their little dog Dolly was an added bonus. There were lambs at the end of the garden and pretty countryside views. All in all, a really nice little gem to stay in the heart of the Buckinghamshire countryside. We will be back next time we visit friends in the area.

I have stayed here before. So know from experience when to stop listening to my satnav as the satnav for some reason takes you past the actual entrance to the property and thereby complicates things. Ian now flags this up in a message sent prior to arrival which I think is very useful and being proactive. Property is easy to locate. Clear instructions about how to locate key and gain access. Breakfast provided is a very nice touch. In good weather there it is possible to sit outside and enjoy the green, serene surroundings.

Great location esp the room we had as the view was so lovely by the fields and being able to sit on your own little patio after a very long day at a job was just great and just what we needed to wind down.. If any comment you could maybe have some decent crossiants in the room for breakfast and even good bread like a sourdough and this would simply top it off... sorry my job is a caterer so I do think this could be a game changer! BUT thank you jolly lovely comfy room x

The setting of the chalet room was lovely and rural, overlooking the garden and there was a decked area with table and chairs to sit out. We were welcomed in a friendly manner and everything was explained to us. The room was a good size and had all you needed for a happy stay. The breakfast is in the fridge and there is a microwave and toaster as well as the usual hospitality items. We liked being able to suit ourselves with breakfast, which makes a change from having to say the night before when you want it. We went for a good walk around North Marston which is a lovely village with friendly locals and plenty of interest. When we returned, we were able to have coffee and toast which was great before we set off. We found it very relaxing and certainly hope to revisit.

The gravel drive makes it difficult to wheel large cases. We found the duvet very heavy and lumpy but bring our own to use as we like a lightweight one.

Spotlessly clean, decent sized room, warm, underfloor heating by the feel of it, king-sized comfortable bed, great shower and large bathroom, four generous towels, private, nice garden setting, continental breakfast all ready in cupboard and fridge, clear instructions for self check-in via key lock box, ample parking.

Nothing to dislike at all. Minor points - another surface in bathroom for toiletries would be useful. Wheetabix or other lower sugar cereal amongst the breakfast choices would have been welcome. Plenty of coffee & tea sachets but probably not enough milk for two sets of cereal and four coffees.

This property was a real find - in a delightful quiet rural location yet surprisingly close to Sittingbourne, Gillingham and the M2. The walks for us and our dog were straight from the car parking place outside. Our two bedroomed accommodation was comfortable, well heated and well equipped for our eight night stay. The owner was attentive and very helpful. We hope to return next year.

The single beds in the second bedroom were rather too firm for our liking.

We were attending Towersey Festival which has moved to the Clayden estate so this was a perfect location, being a short drive away. Everything was provided for breakfast in our room, which had its own front door. There was a small fridge which we were able to use to store our picnic food. Our hosts were pleasant and helpful, and contacted us in advance to warn us to ignore the sat nav misdirection and stay on the main street through North Marston to find the property. I also noticed a small electric heater was provided in case we were cold, so thoughtful.

Only a minor point but the towels were a bit small, I like to be able to wrap it around after my shower, so a bigger towel would be an improvement. But thst is the only nrgative I can think of, everything else was perfect

Having a self contained unit was lovely, we didn't feel we needed to whisper or that we were bothering anyone. The bed was enormous and very comfy, towels were lovely quality and plentiful. The whole place was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was a great idea. The food is in your room, mostly refrigerated. This meant we could eat when we wanted. Rosie was really friendly and offered good advice on places to see

The property is tucked away and quiet, with a lovely view of the fields behind. Room was clean and tidy, comfortable and well stocked with breakfast options for the morning. Unbelievable value for money, would 100% stay again!

The property is a touch difficult to find (no fault of the owners), but once you find it it’s absolutely brilliant!
