Great location, lovely village, close to Worthing, the room was very well appointed with plates/cups/cutlery, we liked the tea and coffee provided and the standard of the bathroom with shampoos etc and towels. The bed was very comfortable, nice size tv to watch, for the price that we paid we thought it was excellent value.

On entering there was a slight musty or damp smell - maybe there is a damp problem or it just needs a good airing. Also around the entrance door inside needs a good clean. The low ceiling stepping up to the bed was a bit awkward, although I suppose that is just peculiar to that room. The noise from the flat above was quite loud during the evening, we could hear every step.

A pretty and comfortable little village cottage divided into four self-contained units. (We had 3 of them). Findon itself is a small, picturesque West Sussex village, and 'Findon Rest' is located in the heart of it, with 3 'dedicated' parking spaces, which we were able to use throughout our stay. Two classic country pubs were within a stone's throw of the place. Given that we were staying in late December we were a little concerned about heating. However, we had no need to worry as the rooms were warm and cosy.

I really liked the location, bed comfortable, Wifi good, easy to connect. Easy access to the key, good car parking. The beach in Worthing just a few miles away, good shops. Restaurants good.

Fridge was a little small, I like my own milk so could not get it in. The sofa was a little hard. Prefer stronger lighting, as windows look out onto people passing, so sometimes needed to lower the blinds.

Wonderful village location within 20 minutes of Worthing. Room was light, bright and airy with everything you could need, including wi-fi. Comfortable bed with clean linen and plenty of pillows. En-suite toilet and shower was clean and well-provided with hand wash and shampoo.

Work on another apartment meant there was a skip occupying one of the parking spaces and builder’s materials blocking access to the patio.

We stayed here about a month ago and found it good so decided on return visit to brighton to stay here again . Excellent value for money. There was a heat wave on and the room was hot when we arrived but they had opened the window beforehand, there is only one window to open so still a bit warm, maybe closing the blind on the window the opposite side would help to keep bit cooler, however there is a ceiling fan which was great during the night. The toilet seat was loose but did not bother us. Used shower and it is really quite powerful which surprised me. Clean, tidy, very comfortable and quiet at night which i love.

The bed was very very comfy which kept the Mrs Happy, the location was a dream very peaceful the locals seemed very nice and polite and welcoming, the local Pub the Village house, Coaching inn was very welcoming

I would not say I did not like it but the TV was a bit of a problem, and I spoke to Lucy who said there was a problem which I found a very honest statement, it was a nice big new TV but to be honest it was not really a big problem, it certainly did not ruin our stay and we will stay again

The room was a little smaller than I was anticipating but to tell the truth it was all I needed, more than capable size for a couple to have an overnight stay for a special occasion. The bed was super comfortable and clean, and the bathroom had everything needed to freshen up ready for the day ahead. Despite not actually meeting any of the staff as it was on a text/call/email basis for information on how to enter the assigned room, the woman I spoke to on the phone was very polite, professional, and helpful with any requests I had (which wasn't many might I add!). The location was very quiet as it is located in a village next to Worthing, convenient enough to travel into the main town for amenities and activities the town had to offer, but the village had a variety of shops to explore in a close proximity.

Furniture Well laid out for a smallish place but that only added to its appeal, the bed was amazingly comfortable my other half has never slept past 8am in her life and we didn’t wake up until 9.40am 😳 still can’t believe we managed to tidy up and get out by 10.10am lol

There was nothing to dislike to be honest

The room was as expected, the pictures are an accurate reflection of the accommodation. There was everything you need for a short stay. The local pubs were handy, friendly and welcoming with a varied menu.

There is limited parking, the 4 spaces out the front were already taken when we arrived late afternoon, so we needed to park along a narrow side street, that may have been a coincidence on the day. (but worth considering if you drive a larger vehicle)

Location was perfect Findon is a pretty little village quiet & perfect for getting to Worthing Goring-on-sea & Ferring all in a day.

Heating worked on arrival but didn’t once back in the cool of the evening however wasn’t too bad. I did message owner but got no reply however was tolerable as the room is fairly cosy.
